Chapter 20: Fishing for Fish Part 2

Me and my two friends started changing into sportswear and going to the academy track, during the day we started this exercise by running 10 laps and continuing it with light sparing in the middle of the field on the running track.

We did this afternoon exercise very carefully not to look like we were worrying about anything. All the plans we have done could have been in vain if we were suspected by others.

The only thing we can do at the moment is just try to stay calm and live our day as usual. Being calm when the hot condition of our hearts is really difficult.

When we had just finished running, we could see Albert and his accomplice trying to approach us with an irritating face plastered from his bulldog-like face.

“I don't think you will be able to train quietly when the pig is in a critical period like this,” Albert said, “It looks like your friendship bond is just a trick so you can look like a hero who helps the weak, right?”

We try not to heed the provocation and just wipe away our sweat that is pouring out. It's a pretty hard thing to hold back when we know who was behind the Tristan incident, but we need to be able to contain it.

While drinking water from the bottle she was carrying, Viona said. “Hey, did you guys hear anything?”

“Once, all I heard was the barking of a stray dog,” exclaimed Kevin.

I pointed towards Albert. “Oh, do you mean the Bulldog who looks lost it.”

The faces of Albert and his friend began to look flushed, especially Silva the most loyal of Albert's accomplices. He walked towards me and looked at me sharply as if he was going to devour me.

“Jaga what you said bastard!” he said while clasping my shirt collar.

“Woah! This one looks very non tame, isn't it?” friends my provocation.

“You're right, we should stay away from them, who knows if they have rabies or not.” Kevin continued.

“Then we just need to go,” said Viona before continuing her words, “Or we can drive them out .. like this!” he kicked Silva's hand that grabbed me.

A high kick with a slightly sideways body, Dollyo Chagi, one of the kicks from Taekwondo martial arts, a really creepy kick, he could have been eyeing Silva's head, Silva said, but we still have to hold back for now.

Seeing all that, Jex, one of the twins began to step forward and shout. “Hoi! You dare to challenge us?!” jex said as he approached Viona.

“Why don't we dare?” ask Viona, “and aren't you just a companion character from that pack of stray dogs?” she drew herself closer to Jex and looked at him sharply. “If you're a companion character, then act like one!” said it.

Viona really looks scary, her brown eyes look like volcanic soil ready to erupt at any moment. Seeming calm yet harboring tremendous danger in it, if Jex is not careful, he can be swallowed up by Viona's anger.

“We better teach a little manners to this rotten woman,” said Rex, Jex twin while stepping closer to Viona and Jex.

But before being able to get close to Viona, Rex had been detained first by Kevin who was standing in front of him. “You better not go any further.” Kevin said threateningly.

Seeing all that, Silva who was still standing in front of me started to glance at Albert and said. “We'd better discipline them, Mr.”

“You're right, we'd better discipline them.” Albert said all that while trying to move closer.

“What are you guys doing there?” say someone.

Hearing the words spoken to us made us stop for a moment. We can see, Gareth is watching us from afar. He began to approach us and ask similar questions.

“Didn't you guys hear me? What are you guys doing?”

Seeing the arrival, Gareth made us all shocked by it, or perhaps more accurately, made Albert and his accomplice startled and took a few steps back from us.

“We don't know for sure, Sir. We were just training and they came to us and started provoking us,”.

Hearing those words, Albert's face and his accomplice began to look panicked. We just put on a face like a little kid who doesn't know anything.

With uneasiness Silva began to speak to, Mr. Gareth. “No, Sir! We just wanted to say hello to our level brother, but they instead started insulting nobles like, Mr. Albert!”

Gareth started to notice us one by one and said. “I understand if you're angry, but that's not a good reason to interfere with other people's training, especially in this academy, social status doesn't apply. you should know that considering you are their senior,” he said.

Silva could only bow silently to hear Gareth's words, he knew very well that it could not be used as an excuse to annoy someone, but his naive nature completely destroyed him.

“Sorry, Mr.” Silva can't dwell on that because of all that.

Now Albert's group could only bow to hold back their angry feelings. Really nice view to see. I really enjoyed the situation. Now no one is talking.

“Master, if you don't mind, I want to propose something,” Kevin told Gareth to break the silence.

“What is it?”

“Because we still need to practice a lot, what if we had a duel with the seniors. That way we can get more knowledge from them.”

Kevin's words surprised Albert and his accomplice. Their stupid expressions really could not be hidden.

Gareth started glancing at me and Viona who was behind Kevin. “Are you sure? They are your seniors.”

“Alright, if that's what you want, I'll allow you to do a duel like this friend of yours proposed.” Gareth nodded slowly. “Sparring will be held tomorrow the day after the break.”

Hearing all that made Albert and his accomplice show a smile like a fool.

Albert began to nod in excitement. “If it is like that, we should not refuse requests from our sister level, are not so friends?” albert told his plot.

Without hiding their expressions of excitement, Albert's subordinates answered in unison. “True, Mr.”

Yup! They can eat the bait we give them so easily. It looked like we were fishing in a fishpond that had not been fed for days. Their hunger makes them not pay attention to the fishing hooks that will harm them.

“Alright, if so I suggest you go back to your respective activities,” Gareth suggested.

“Good!”

After being ordered like that, Albert and his group began to withdraw from before us. Unbearable happy expressions started coming out from the three of us.

“Yaaaa!”

We screamed together and started laughing because our plan had worked out without any interruption at all.

Kevin really laughed really hard. “Ahahaha! I didn't expect an impromptu plan made last night could actually work.”

Viona immediately grabbed onto Kevin's shoulder and said. “Haha! I told you we believed in the plan, Deron! He is a genius!” he said, “But I'm also a little surprised, I never thought I'd get them as easy and as smooth as this.”

“True, you're right Vio!” Kevin answered without stopping laughing, after he calmed himself he started asking me. “But how can you think of all that?”

“There is nothing special about it, I can make plans like this because they are just stupid boys pretending to be tittle parents. Boys like them tend to act impulsively.” I am happy to explain it to them.

“You are absolutely amazing,” said Kevin.

The sincere smile from the two of them really moved me because of it. Our bond continues to strengthen every second. I didn't expect this brief encounter to be this deep in such a short period of time.

“It looks like you managed to catch those stupid fish,” said Guru who had returned from Gareth's room in the form of a bird.

“Nona!” Say hello to Kevin and Viona at the same time.

They have no power to hold back their happiness. Thankfully, no one is here at the moment. If anyone sees, maybe they will be considered insane for calling ‘Nona’ on a bird.

The teacher himself had only been watching us from afar ever since we started practicing. He acts like that just in case Albert has a confrontation, so he can call Gareth immediately through his telepathy.

That is the reason why Gareth can come on time when the situation is hot like that. A really successful little plan, this way Gareth will have no hindrance to help us solve the problem with Albert.

“I have no doubt about you at all, you have worked well,” said Guru.

What he said really made us happy so that made our faces just drawn and showed a smile.

“Thank you!” say us simultaneously.

We finally decided to continue our training and started doing the sparring sessions as we had scheduled. Kevin and Viona take turns sparing with me. They decided this considering me who is still very ‘mentah’ in martial arts.

But when I was doing a sparing session, I felt like someone was watching me intensely. It doesn't feel like an intention to kill, but it still bothers me. I ended up checking around but didn't see anyone around this track. Is this just my feeling?

“What's up?” ask Viona who is sparing with me.

“No, no. Let's just continue.”

“You can't let your guard down when we have a duel with Albert,” he said.

“iya, I get it, you don't have to worry.”

Finally we continued our sparing and decided to have lunch after it was over. After changing clothes and cleaning yourself in the bathroom in a multi-purpose building.

We headed straight to the cafeteria and ate our lunch. But just like when I was on a running track, here I also felt like someone was watching me. I looked around again, but the results were the same as before. There are a lot of people in the cafeteria now, but they are just students having lunch, I don't see any suspicious people.

“Why are you acting weird from earlier?” ask Viona.

“True, is something bothering you?” continued Kevin.

“No, it just seems to be my feeling. I always felt like someone was watching me.”

“Woo, see ‘Tuan Popular’ us this,” tease Kevin.

They still mention Adelyn earlier, maybe it should be like this. I was troubled by this feeling of mine, but at least the gaze I felt was not intended to kill. That's all enough.
