Chapter 29: Class A and the Forbidden Word

Today was the fifth day I entered the academy, who would have thought that I would instantly go up two levels when I had just entered for five days. Now that I'm with Kevin and Viona, I'm in Master's room to meet our new homeroom teacher.

For Master Margaret herself, she was in Gareth's room looking for some additional information about the mysterious group we were looking for.

Just like the last time I was here, the teacher's room was completely filled with teachers' files on her desks, only now I didn't come alone. In here I can also see the Herald preparing his files for teaching.

“Oh, look at our new star,” he said seeing our arrival.

“Thank you,” said Kevin.

Viona looked around before asking the Herald.”Sir, are you always the last one to get ready to teach class?”

Herald lips begin to sing a smile.”Looks like it's true,” he replied, “but it looks like today someone is late than me.”

“What will he be our new homeroom teacher?” ask her.

“True, preparing files when getting new students is a bit time consuming,” Herald said, “But you do not have to worry, this is indeed our duty as a teacher.”

There was the sound of a door opening as we were talking to the Herald, we could see a man with a handsome face and a tall athletic body walking towards us from the doorway while carrying some beams in his right hand.

“Ah, good morning, Mr. Igor. Have you finished preparing the file?” ask the Herald to the man who is none other than Igor the referee.

Igor started to smile at us and looked at the Herald. “Good morning, Mr. Herald. I just finished preparing their class transfer files,” he replied to the Herald. Igor then turned to look at us. “Good morning, kids. Maybe you can guess it after hearing my conversation with, Mr. Herald. I'll be your new homeroom teacher in Class A later, hopefully we can work together in the future.

“Ah, good morning, hope we can get the best teachings from you, Mr!” answer the three of us simultaneously.

“Sure, I also expect the same from you guys, however you have become new stars in this academy, I guess it's only a matter of time until you can get into the Royal.” class

“You expect too much from us, Sir,” Kevin said.

“True, we just got up to class A with a little luck,” added Viona.

Igor started shaking his head slowly. “luck is also part of a venture. Without any effort met with opportunity, a stroke of luck will never happen.”

What he said was true, luck could not be achieved if the person had never tried before.

“Alright, then please follow me,” said Igor, “I'll take them to class first, have a nice day,” continued Igor say goodbye to the Herald.

We ended up following Igor to classroom A which was at the end of the academy corridor, close to the magic class's multi-purpose room, so the atmosphere here is really comfortable to use to study because of the gardens around it.

Unlike the C classroom which sounded noisy from outside the classroom when there was no Teacher watching, here was very quiet. When we entered the classroom A, the students who were reading the book started to stop their activities and show a cold face from seeing us coming.

‘Are they that enthusiastic to learn?’ my inner.

“Alright, guys. As you already know from now on the three of them will start getting into Class A, I beg you guys can help them adapt to their new environment, understand?” igor.

After that we are welcome to introduce ourselves and start sitting in the middle of the class. Unlike class C which contains three rows of tables to the side and back, in class A, they have 6 rows of benches to the back and 3 rows to the side.

The number of students who are 2 times that of Class C indicates that it is very difficult to graduate from Class A so that many students maximize the 3 years given by the academy.

Perhaps this was the reason why the students from A class were more focused on learning even when there was no Master paying attention to them, because if they failed in 3 years, they would be forced to be expelled by the academy.

“Alright, it looks like there is a lesson today, if there is something you want to ask, you can come to the teacher's room to see me as usual,” said Igor ended the class.

Hearing his words, it seemed like a lot of students were counseling with him during the break. I can only hope that the exam won't be too difficult for the three of us. Maybe it won't be too hard for me, but I'm a little worried about Kevin and Viona.

“Do you guys think I'll be able to take class A well?” ask Viona to us.

“Sure, Vio. I'm pretty sure you can get through it,” Kevin replied.

“True, if you have any difficulties, maybe we can do a study group so that we can graduate together,”.

“Hey, it's not a bad idea!” said Viona, “if I helped learn by the two of you maybe I can graduate faster from here.”

Viona's words made some students turn their heads towards us, it seems like the word ‘lulus’ is very sacred sounding by the students from class A.

“Can you include us?” said a male student.

“True, isn't Deron the highest-rated student when accepting new students, he must be a genius!” the woman next to him.

Without us knowing it, we had attracted the attention of all the students who were about to go for a break outside the classroom, and had us mobbed by many people.

“Hah, Thank you, Vio!” kevin said a little upset because of the situation.

Viona tried to get out of the crowd of the other disciples. “Hei! I don't know if this is going to happen!”

Being mobbed by this many disciples really made us feel claustrophobic, if only they were not a disciple, I would definitely throw them with the Window Blow.

“Good, It's enough everything!” Igor's words stopped the disciples. “I don't mind if you guys really want to learn from Deron but we can do it later, now go break.”

It seemed that Igor did not go straight to the Master room as he saw the disciples start running around us, thank God. If he doesn't exist, I don't know what will happen to us.

“Yaaaaah” said the students were a little disappointed.

Eventually they started to give us some breathing room. Now me, Kevin and Viona started to sit down, relieved to breathe.

“Looks like we have to keep our sayings from now on,” Kevin said.

Me and Viona just nodded softly at Kevin's words. “You're right,” said we were together.

With this we learned one thing that will really help us survive in A class. ‘Never say the word ‘lulus’ in front of the disciples with a gloomy future.’
