Episode 26 - Dominic's Meeting With Niana

"Niana! Here, here!" a woman exclaimed at someone who had just entered the restaurant.

Niana who had a wanderlust was finally enlightened when the woman, Rubel, called her name so loudly. Apparently Rubel was the same. And maybe a lot more taffy. Only the appearance of Ruble looks more different. No more thick glasses framed his eyes, and when Niana got closer and could see clearly, apparently Rubel used brown softlens. In the past, Rubel did not dare to put the object into his eye socket.

Niana smiled. "I'm an adult, Sis!" He touched the nose of the Ruble that was not too sharp. "How are you? All this time I could only see you through your status, I didn't dare to send a message hehe."

"Allah! Why don't you wear all these dares? I thought your number was off because you rarely made up stories, Sis!" sahut Rouble. "Yeah! I am so happy to see you again, Niana! You're getting pretty! It's so anxious!"

"Hey, Ladies! Don't you see there's two princes here?" dominic sela.

"ah! Dom!" Niana looked directly at Dominic who seemed to be holding a glass filled with mineral water. "Hi, Dom! How's it been all this time?" He sat down in one of the chairs, and Rubel followed the attitude he took.

Dominic smiles. But he did not answer immediately. His heart confirmed Rubel's remark about Niana getting more beautiful. Could it be because she is already the wife of a businessman? But hasn't Niana's husband's company been in trouble lately? Dominic learned of it from one of the reporters he knew. The news about the Endri company that is predicted to go out of business was indeed in the news, but because the Endri company is not as big as the family-owned manufacturing company Dany, the news seems not too much liked by many people.

"Hey, Dom! Is that how you apply to Niana's beauty to not blink like that?" chirp Dany after observing the expression on Dominic's face.

"Come! What if I was stunned by that innocent little girl, and suddenly came like an actress like this, Dany? I'm just surprised" Dominic said.

Niana squinted her eyes at Dany. Good because Dany could have made the atmosphere more awkward. After all, why did Dany suddenly tease him using Dominic? It used to seem like Dany had suggested him to be in a relationship with Dominic, but he never took the conglomerate's son seriously.

Ruble breathed. "Why isn't the show at Dad's and Mom's diner then?" And what he meant was Niana's parents. "We can meet them."

"Sorry" said Dany. "Not want to. I came to my Mom and Dad's restaurant this afternoon, but I was given free food. I don't want to make Om Surya and Aunt Rita even give us free food. Next time we come to their house."

"Geez! They have nothing to lose by giving you free food, Gengs!" Niana shook her head. "Even if you come home, they will still feed for free!"

"Yes! If you don't eat, you'll nag more, hahaha." Dominic laughing.

The look on Niana's restless face seemed to give a bad sign.

But ... Who is Dominic? He is not the one who has the authority to investigate the events at Niana and Endri's wedding to come to the clearest conclusion. He is just a man who once admired Niana and he was also shaken after hearing Niana's marriage to another man. At this time, he does not know whether his feelings for Niana are still there or no longer left.

"Eat first, why just be quiet?" Dany takes the vote.

Niana blinked her eyes and nodded slowly. "Good idea, Mr Boss!" And he tried to throw jokes.

"Oh, that's right! Niana works for Dany. I forgot to. Uh, crazy you, Dan! How great it is to hide your identity. We never even knew that you were the sister of a famous actress" Rubel said.

Niana nodded in agreement. "And just so you know, I was accused of entering the company because of a connection from Dany. Ck, ck, ck, it sucks when accused like that when I applied with a tough exam and with my own abilities."

"Geekie!" Dominic rubbed Rubel's face.

They laugh. Niana also laughed. As if there was nothing he needed to think about. And what he had feared or what made him feel the air of awkwardness had now disappeared. His friends are still the same as before. And maybe only he changed more. He is no longer able to cheer. Smiling only uses a fake smile.

And when Niana's laughter stopped, Dominic also fell silent. He noticed Niana's beautiful face but looked lonely. Could it be that the speculation he made was a truth, or was it close to reality? After all, he still had to be quiet, right?

While Dominic continues to pay attention to Niana, Dany actually notices Dominic. And Dany is convinced that Dominic still likes Niana. How Dany can encourage Dominic to be willing to save Niana and stop the crazy plan that Niana still wants to do.
