First Wife's Mission
Episode 5 - The Truth Dany Hears

Niana gradually grabbed a glass of mineral water that had been served by Dany for her. Next he sipped the drink up to three times. He put the glass back down and began to sigh deeply at least to calm his heart. He is now trying not to shed any more tears. Dany was a close friend for a long time, but being spoiled and weak in front of the man didn't feel like a good decision. Especially now that Niana is no longer a young student, she has become a mature woman and even has a status as the wife of a man without humanity.

“I'm sorry, but lunch hour is still half an hour,” said Niana without looking at Dany. He kept his head down with his eyeballs moving to the right or left. “But, if lunchtime arrives, you will usually have an agenda to meet your relationship. Makes me have no choice but to meet you right now, Mr. Dany. Honestly, I don't have your phone number anymore, so, I can't send you a private message. Once again forgive me for interrupting your hours.”

“Pak Dany?” sahut Dany scrunched his forehead. “Until now I'm not used to when you call me that, Niana. We've been friends for a long time. Me, you, Dominic, Keisya, and Rubel. And now all that's left is the two of us, I mean the only ones who can still come face to face are you and me. I was really sad when you decided to stay away from me, then suddenly come back crying like this.”

Niana swallowed the saliva with difficulty. To be honest, he was least willing to trouble others. Especially after he decided to build a wall between himself and Dany for the last two years. But for this time alone, Niana was eager to ask for help from the man. A favor that will make the plan run smoothly.

“Once again forgive me, sir .. I mean, Dany,” Niana said. Maybe apologizing will not make Dany's heart feel relieved after what he did to the man, but he also does not know what else to do but ask for a little forgiveness and understanding.

Dany sighed. “Already, I don't need your forgiveness anymore. I think I can still understand your situation of being someone's wife. You definitely don't want to make your husband feel jealous, do you? Now .. if you still think of me as a friend, please tell me why you are crying and suddenly want to see me, Niana. Look me in the eye and talk to me, Niana.”

Niana bit her lower lip. Within a few moments he was confused. Should he stare at Dany's chocolate netra or keep his head down? Because he was still unable to show his face in front of the man. He was already too shameless when he decided to approach Dany who had not only been away from him, but also had become his own superior. “Niana?” said Dany. He almost lost his patience. But Niana's fragile condition makes her have to keep holding back the irritation that almost controlled her. “Then ... when dumped by your lover, you must have come like this to me. Crying like a child who has lost a toy. You said I could be a better listener than Keisya, Dominic, or Rubel, so you always come to me when you're in trouble. But, ... haha, you can't possibly be dumped by your partner like back then, ‘kan?”

Niana clenched both her palms. And still without looking at Dany, he said, “It seems, to me you are still the most appropriate person as a place to tell my problems, Dany. To be honest, I don't intend to make you as burdened as when we were younger. But, right now I really need your help, Dany. So that I can repay my partner's actions that make me feel dumped again.”

Dany's face showed an expression of shock after hearing Niana's last words. “What do you mean, Niana? You mean Endri dumped you? Hasn't your marriage been all right? Ah shit! Right, ever since you got married, I barely heard from you guys at all. I really don't know anything. But .. I'm really surprised that what you're saying is the truth, Niana. I didn't think you'd be dumped.”

Niana's lips again tightly coiled even to pale. His body just started to tremble as the wounds inside him again made a mess. If he is unable to control himself, his tears will definitely come out again. He could cry a lot harder and full of heartache. But for the sake of self-esteem and not to make Dany also drift in this bad situation, Niana must be able to hold herself back.

“Niana ...”

Dany said more gently. He tried not to corner Niana who had been away from him all this time. In the next instant, he grabbed one of Niana's palms. Niana's trembling hands made Dany begin to believe that what she heard was the truth. And the woman still kept her head down when Dany had already ventured to be attentive, despite being secretly quite surprised by what Dany had done.

“Tell me. Let's just say we're back in time, a time when all five of us are still joking or telling stories. A time when you never hesitated to ask me as your good listener, Niana. The time where you look at me as an ordinary student, instead of a boss you need to respect,” Dany said as gently as possible. Even a thin smile he reviewed to make Niana no longer feel anxious let alone not feel good to him.

Hearing Dany's words, Niana gradually gained the courage to look at the brown netra that the man had. Dany's handsome face is still the same, in addition to looking more mature. For a long time, he had stayed away from this man just for the sake of keeping Endri's heart. But why is this man who understands the heart of Niana so far? And why also Endri who always placed in the first position actually gives a wound?

“Mas Endri .. will have children,” said Niana slowly.

Hearing the statement from Niana, Dany's eyes immediately looked at the stomach of Niana who was covered by the king and blazer. “You ... pregnant?” ask after that.

“Not me.” Niana nodded. “But, another woman. I ... Until now he does not want to have children from my womb for various reasons. And I never protested. But, ta-but .. yesterday she confessed that she wanted to divorce me for the sake of marrying a woman who contains her flesh blood.”

Niana was able to tell what happened to Dany. But the story that spoke from his lips again had to create a circle of tears. He cried without a sound and it felt much more painful. Her chest feels tight. It would be much better if he could shout, but he couldn't possibly do it in front of Dany. Niana was only able to bite her lips firmly.

“Sial!” Dany swears. Not just once. Repeatedly his lips spoke all the dirty words, insults, as well as the curse he pointed at Endri.
