Forgive Me Both

Forgive Me Both
Gevania

Aurora Gevania. What a beautiful name, right? Out of nowhere the mother got it, Vani must be very grateful to have that name. Vani is the only child of a poor widow named Lela. His father died when he was just one year old. And, since then the mother took care of it alone, financing their needs by working odd jobs. Selling fried foods, as a washerman rub, all his mother did so that Vani could live a decent life like other children.

Despite their hard lives, Vani never once heard her mother complain. Lela always covered everything with a smile, which is what Vani knew when she accidentally saw her mother secretly crying alone.

When she was 18 years old, Lela intended to match her daughter with a man named Faisal. Though at that time Vani had just graduated high school, ijazah–pun had not been received because of late paying school fees.

"Sorry, son, I can no longer afford to finance your education to a higher level." Vani just looked down hiding the tears that almost escaped from both corners of the eye.

Perhaps, her mother thought to what high school would be if she would eventually become a housewife and take care of the child at home.

Not do not want to try, but every day Vani has been around looking for a part-time job. Vani is eager to save up for his college expenses later. However, the plan must be dashed instantly when Vani must receive a proposal from a man chosen by his mother.

"Faisal is a good man. He's also a friend's mother's son. And I'm sure you'll be happy with her.

"alright. For the sake of Mother will accept this match." Although a little forced, Vani accepts what her mother chooses. Vani doesn't want to be a bad boy. At least, this is the time for the mother.

Undeniably, Faisal is a male figure who is able to make him fall in love. Just like her mother said. Not only about the physical, but his good nature and soft speech increasingly make Vani captivated by him.

Vani and Faisal were introduced through ta'aruf, then a week later from the Faisal Family set their wedding day. Lela according to him. Leave the entire decision to the Faisal Family in the hope that his daughter can live a better life.

"How's Miss Lela? Is there anything else I want to say? Or regarding the dowry, we will try to fulfill it." One of the relatives of the Faisal family spoke out. Vani chooses to shut up and leaves everything to her mother.

"No. We follow what they think is best." That's mom's final decision.

The wedding day at the title in a luxurious and festive, of course Vani is very happy, as a girl who incidentally comes from the lower middle class, who the hell does not feel lucky?

After marriage, Vani hopes that luck will always accompany her. Vani follows her husband moving into their new home. Initially Faisal had plans to bring Bu Lela as well. But, Lela felt bad on her own, afraid of disturbing their comfort she said. Finally, Vani forced to leave his mother in the house of his father's legacy.

"Frequently come to see Mother." Mother's words suddenly made Vani cry. Lela let go of her son and daughter-in-law with a smile, but not with Vani still sobbing in the car they were riding in.

Vani's new house is still a complex with her mother-in-law's house, even just two houses away. Vani never thought let alone imagined would be a queen in a house as good as that. Very different from the house he lived in, which sometimes still leaks when the rain comes.

"Are you happy?" Faisal's voice jolted his daydream. Vani hastily regained control and welcomed her husband's helping hand.

Vani thought that after marriage, her mother-in-law would not interfere with her household matters with Faisal. But it's actually wrong. Not once, not twice, but almost everything connected with Faisal his mother was the one who arranged it.

"This is your monthly allotment." Even the monthly money Faisal gave Vani now had to pass her mother-in-law's consent first.

Not sincere, really, Vani also knows if her husband belongs to her mother. But, somehow getting here feels so hard living the days. Especially now that the monthly money Faisal gave was getting cut. For some reason, his mother-in-law only said that Faisal used some of his money for more important purposes.

"I'm sorry, if your monthly money is reduced. You're all right, Van?" Vani according to him. Although sometimes Vani must save money so that the monthly money can be enough until the end of the month.

Tired, maybe. But once again, Vani tried to understand him. How–pun she remains the mother of Mas Faisal, the mother of the man I love so much, whispered Vani every time upset struck.

Months changed years, did not feel the age of marriage Vani stepped on the second year. And right today is their wedding anniversary.

Vani is very happy, it feels like Vani wants to stop time for a moment. Want to enjoy this romantic atmosphere with her husband even longer. However, there is something that until now became a burden on his mind, namely ....

"When are you pregnant, Van?" ask Bu Widia for the umpteenth time. Vani just lowered his head, squeezing his fingers that felt cold, while Faisal just silenced without any expression.

"It's your second year of marriage, you know, when do you have grandchildren?" mother's great-grandson again. Vani feels guilty, confused at the same time. Guilty because until now he has not been able to give what his mother-in-law wants. But confused, because Faisal himself always .. ahhhh I don't know ...

"Have you checked with the doctor? Then, how did it go? All healthy, right?" ask Mom again. Vani thought I had stepped away after putting her husband's favorite soup, apparently the woman was still faithfully waiting for their answer from the doorstep.

"Patience, Mom. Maybe now is not the time" Faisal replied as he approached Mother. Then, his gaze looked towards Vani.

"When do dong? Among Mother's friends, only Mother has no grandchildren!" continued again. Mom turned to look at Vani. alternating with Faisal's gaze earlier, "You're actually barren, Van?"

The duarrr!

Vani's heart was getting sliced by Bu Widia's question. How could her in-laws say so blatantly regardless of her own daughter-in-law's feelings.

"Mr ..." Faisal rubbed the soft back of mother. This is where the real Vani is most destroyed. His wife Faisal should have calmed down.

When this clear liquid almost decayed, at that moment also Miss Widia said again, "Udahlah, I'm tired! Mom's tension can go up if you think about your household for a long time!" The woman who is called in-laws just stepped in without caring about the feelings of Vani who was devastated.
