Forgive Me Both

Forgive Me Both
You Still Sane?

"Asking to be a second wife in front of his legal wife, are you sure you're still sane? What in the world is there no other man, until you lower your self-esteem in front of my husband?" The phrase pitched satire was successful in making Mika's face reddened. Unknowingly the two women's hands were already clenched perfectly.

Another case with Renan, the man smiled thinly, looking at the wife with a look of disbelief. How Renan had never seen this brave Vani before. Or, maybe he who does not know the other side of a Vania.

"Close your mouth cheap woman!" mika Ogat. But directly in reply to the slow pangs by Vani,

"Isn't the phrase suitable for women who are willing to beg for love in a married man? Kind of, you ..." Vani raised his eleven eyebrows. Satisfied to see Mika's face growing red holding back the growl.

Renan is still enjoying the debate. Only a proud smile was clearly imprinted on both of his lips. While Mika was already in the fog facing Vani who always won a landslide from her.

"If you think asking to be second wife is a matter of pride, that's a big mistake. It is the same as lowering your own self-esteem. Because anyway all women wouldn't feel fine if her love had to be shared."

I don't know how Mika feels right now. If someone else, he might choose to sink his face to the bottom of the earth because he was so ashamed. But strangely Mika can still lift her face up high even though her pride has been dropped many times.

"You can think of my request, Ren. I won't demand anything from you either. So, you don't have to be afraid I'll be competing with your first wife."

"But unfortunately that's not going to happen, Mik. Don't expect me to think about your silly– request, let alone grant it. Because it was just a dream. You know, I love my wife so much, so there'll never be a place for another woman again, you understand?!"

Vani smiles triumphantly with the answer Renan gave to Mika.

Clear liquid started flowing from both corners of the woman's eyes. Mika's hopes were completely dashed. He knew if Renan had never loved him, then what more could he have hoped for by continuing to be in this place?

"You'd better go home, Mik. Reflect on all our words earlier. I hope after this you won't disturb our household anymore."

Renan embraces his wife's shoulder and invites her to enter immediately. There remained Mika who stood with raging feelings. He doesn't know what he'll do after this.

Vani hugged her husband's body when they were inside the house. Not much different from Mika, the woman's tears just broke through from both corners of her eyes.

Still, she was just an ordinary woman who was easily hurt. Moreover, Mika who blatantly offered to be her honey, is that not a crazy statement?

Fear must be there. And until now Vani is still in the shadow of the trauma of his marriage that ran aground first.

"Eh, Miss Widia. I heard Maya is pregnant. Congratulations, finally, Widia will soon have a grandchild" said one of the complex's mothers who was shopping with her. A week after the incident that made the woman disappointed, in fact there are still people who ask about the pregnancy of the son-in-law.

"Unfortunately that's not true, ma'am. Maya has not been pregnant, yesterday just a common cold," he replied with his hands still cool to choose vegetables.

"Lho, how can you? I thought I checked into the hospital yesterday because I was pregnant."

"I also wonder why Maya wasn't pregnant. Don't-don't he's also barren as Vani,"

Everyone who was shopping there looked at each other with confused looks. Just surprised by the mouth of the woman whose hobby once blamed people. What if it turns out the opposite.

"Why don't you ask Faisal to see a doctor. Who knows if he has a problem. Don't just blame Maya, Mom. It used to fit Vani that way too, right?" One of them finally ventured. But his name is also a selfish person, Ms. Widia does not even accept if her son is blamed.

"If Faisal is not possible, ma'am. From our family there are no barren descendants. I'm sure the problem must be in Maya." She still blames her daughter-in-law. Though the advice from them is quite good, in order to know who exactly is to blame.

"It's just a wonder to have a wife up to twice is barren all," he chanted suddenly. Not aware if people who have been the object of conversation are standing not far from where they stand.

Maya tightens her jaw. His fingernails had also been clenched tightly since earlier when he first approached the mothers who were busy gossiping about him.

Some are aware of the arrival of the woman, to choose to directly pay for groceries and quickly avoid.

Ms. Widia had not realized that her daughter-in-law was standing right behind her. Until the hurtful speech was thrown again unconsciously,

"Beautiful, but barren is free."

"Yes ...!!"
