Lalita and Nolan meet Tanana in the temple courtyard. It seems Tanana has been waiting for them since. It was obvious from her that she was angry. Lalita clenched the edge of her shirt anxiously. Nolan who realized that, tried to melt the atmosphere while exclaiming happily,
"Nana, I found Lalita in the flower hill! Smart right?"
But Tanana was silent.
Nolan reflexively retreated and chose to keep his mouth shut at this moment.
"Where?" Tanana's voice sounded so cold.
Lalita tried to catch her breath. He put on his best smile, then replied, "From the hill of flowers, Mother."
"Who?"
"I mean Mother? I'm all alone." Lalita said quickly, scratching her nape, saying, "Well, technically I met Nolan in the last few minutes."
Tanana's tanned eyes are getting sharp.
"Lied."
Lalita tries to find some more alibis when suddenly Seda emerges from behind the bush behind them. Lalita and Nolan glared in shock, apparently since Seda followed Nolan. He must have seen and heard everything.
"He met a man there." Obviously Seda as Tanana looked at him full of question marks.
Tanana's face was red. He looked at his daughter with annoyance. Already he guessed, this child was clearly in a kasmaran. His work has been clearly visible since a few days ago.
"Who is that guy?" his question was trying to hold back the anger that could just explode.
"I-I'm an adult. I can't go too far." Lalita answered in disarray. His shoulders were trembling a little. Nolan looked at the girl for pity.
"I'm doing this for your own good!" Tanana Bentak. Really, she instead of wanting to be an antagonist or what, she just didn't want anything bad to happen to her daughter.
"I just don't want my only son to have anything bad."
"But Kai's not a bad guy." Lalita Bela. His eyes began to glaze over. "He's a good man."
"That's it.." Tanana clucking hates. "You don't even know where it came from. He's not a villager, is he?"
"But-"
"But you can't see him anymore. I forbid you." Tanana absolute.
"You will only marry the man from this village. The man I chose."
"Mother, I beg you to listen first." lirih Lalita seduced, looking at her mother in despair.
"I guarantee nothing bad will happen."
Tanana's eyes shone sharply.
"Guarantee?" hissing's beaver. "You dare guarantee the future?!"
Lalita shook her head in anger. Why is it so hard to talk to her mother? Why didn't his mother understand!
"Do you want to end up like me?!" Tanana's voice was rising. "Backed and dumped by foreign men from out there!"
"Mom, enough, enough.." Lalita covered both her ears. Anger, sadness, disappointment, and despair mingled his heart.
"Just because your love story failed doesn't mean the same thing happened to me!"
After saying that, Lalita turned back. Run down the path to the hill of flowers. Leaving his mother who was still stuck hearing his sentence just now. Also Nolan and Seda were confused as to what to do.
"Mom doesn't understand, doesn't understand.." He continued to whisper with tears that began to run down the river.
He is a submissive child. A sweet girl who never troubled anyone. Who never attach importance to his own desires. He always thinks of others' feelings above his. Always has been since childhood. So this time, just this time, can't she decide for herself who to fall in love with?
"Kai!" Lalita shouted in all directions upon arrival at the flower hill. There's no one. Lalita laughed mockingly at herself. The sun was setting, obviously Kai was gone. There's no way he's here any more, he's not a hill bouncer.
Lalita staggered, sitting weak. He sobs at the thought that his mother might be right, that Kai is a stranger and that he knows nothing about her. Not even the origin. Eh? Origin?
Lalita's shoulders were back up straight as she recalled something. Kai once said something about where he lived. The girl looked straight ahead, towards the forest that looked so dark.
Behind this forest there is a river, then another forest, then a lake, then another forest, then a mountain, and yes there is a small village.
Lalita remembers Kai once said that.
And he knew it sounded like a joke. Lalita knew the young man was probably making things up at the time. But he was extremely desperate at the moment, the slightest possibility he would take. He had to meet the young man.
So the girl strengthened her heart, straightened her shoulders, and took her steps into the forest.
Lalita is hard to see the way, the beam of moonlight is not enough to shine a light around her. His hand felt the air, worried about hitting a tree or maybe a hanging root that could have ensnared him.
The sounds of the night beast sahut said made the girl shudder in horror. He exhaled a coarse breath, nurtured guts, then spurred his pace quickly. Run with hope on luck. Luckily he was able to immediately break through the forest, fortunately he did not stray deeper into the forest, fortunately he did not meet any ferocious beasts.
Lalita grimaced again as she recalled the young man. Damn, where did that young man actually come from? This is a great sacrifice just for a man.
"Kai!"
Again, the girl screamed as loud as she could. But his voice was swallowed by the screeches of the night beasts. Not to mention his legs that began to blister here and there because several times he fell tripping over the roots of trees or shrubs.
"Kai, where are you?" The girl's whisper was shrivelled.

Three hundred and fifty years ago...
The village chief's first son, Azulon, scolded back timidly as the sword he had just finished broke. Only with one blow.
Devil, squealing sharply, took out his pointy claws.
"You're more shit than I am." Said cold.
Azulon dragged his body, crawling into the bushes. Amidst the overwhelming panic and fear, his fumbling hand on the ground touched something. His eyes glanced in shock, a long white object pointed at exactly the bone lying there.
The demon was getting closer, the young man was confused looking for a protector. In a split second he grabbed the bone, then smoothed forward swiftly.
Red blood dripped down on the snowy ground. Demons and Azulon were both shocked. The devil should be an immortal, he should not be harmed. But the fact is that the devil's wings are wounded, stricken with white bones that are arbitrary.
The devil's eyes are squealing. He knew the thing that hurt him. Not just any ordinary bones, but dragon fangs. How can it be here?
His eyes glanced at the young man whose hands were still trembling. That said, the oldest dragon fangs were kept by Ares in the sky there. But the sincere soul of the knight could call out to him when needed.
"You were tricked by him. We've got a deal."
After saying that sentence, a flying demon shot into the sky with wings drenched in blood. Leaving the young man in a confused state.
Amidst the confusion, a loud voice blared from above the sky.
'On your sincerity and courage to stand up for your people, we grant you a strong plant, which dares to grow everywhere.'
Azulon gasped as the droplets of blood in front of him suddenly seeped rapidly into the ground and small shoots appeared from there. These shoots will later grow into dazzling red flowers.
Poppys.

Kai shook his head as he recalled the events of hundreds of years ago. It's just a misunderstanding. Technically he did slaughter and swallow the villagers of Lalita, but there was a strong reason behind it.
His forehead creased as he saw Caspian drifting rapidly towards him from a distance.
"I just walked out of the northern forest and saw something interesting!" Caspian said.
Kai snorted lazily.
"What?" ogah-ogahan said.
"There is a man, a woman, this height.." Caspian moved his hands enthusiastically. "He's cute, funny, and adorable. Is she your mate?"
Kai jerks.
What is Lalita? But why is he in the woods?
"He's calling your name. Kai! Kai! that's so.."
Kai spontaneously stood up.
"He was crying too. It looks desperate."
A second later Kai had already darted rapidly downwards. What happened to Lalita?
His heart is beating fast.
