CHAPTER 4. MISIDENTIFY

The young motorcyclists fled, when they saw Devina's car hit a tree, they were afraid the police would come and investigate to make themselves caught in legal trouble.

Everyone is looking for a safe point, go as far away as possible and hide. Only one man stopped, parked his big motorbike, then ran up to Devina's car which let out smoke.

The young man was Bastian Mahesa, son of Calvin Mahesa, one of the members of the Regional House of Representatives and also the son of Diani, a famous jewelry store owner in the city of Medan.

Feeling guilty for joining the group, Bastian tries his hardest to open the car door to help Devina.

After the car door was opened with makeshift equipment, Bastian immediately pulled Devina's body out of the car, then carried her, without seeing who and how the woman he helped.

The most important thing for Bastian is to get help right away before it's too late.

Bastian takes Devina's body away from the scene because he is afraid the car will explode.

Then he shouted again, "You guys just shut up! hurry up and telephone the hospital! Ambulance, where is this ambulance, come on. You guys help my girlfriend!" bastian is getting hysterical.

Not long after, the police and ambulance arrived. Bastian immediately carried Devina, raising her above the ambulance. He paid no more attention to his dirty clothes getting stained with blood.

Ambulance arrives at Persada hospital, security and the sisters come to help carry the berankar and move Devina over him.

Arriving at the ER, the doctor was waiting because he had received information that an accident patient was on his way.

Bastian asked the sisters to take care of the administration in the service department and they asked for patient data.

Bastian was confused, he had not had time to save Devani's bag, which may have an identification tag in it. If he returned to the scene for free, perhaps the bag had been burned in the car or had been lost to the crowd.

Then Bastian said to the nurse in charge of the ministry, "Look Sus! I'll call his family first, but I beg you to save my girlfriend! I'll definitely be back soon. Bastian closes his phone and hurried back to the ER room, he wants to see a doctor, to ask about Devani's condition.

While in Mahen's office, his feelings were not good since earlier, his heart ached, his breathing was tight, until he staggered almost falling while explaining his company's cooperation project with overseas clients.

Everyone present there was shocked and they stopped the meeting. Mahen's assistant immediately swept him back into the chair and gave Mahen a drink.

They were about to call the doctor but Mahen forbade him, he just wanted his assistant to continue the meeting, not wanting to disappoint their client and asking the office driver to drive him home, so he could rest.

The school is also confused why it has been almost two hours Devina has not yet reached the school to pick up Annisa, while Devina said that she had left for school.

Eventually the school calls Devina back but is not connected, and they try to call Mahen, but Mahen's phone is also inactive. Mahen turned off his phone when the discussion meeting on the project began.
