CHAPTER 75. PLEASING HUSBAND

The apostle of Allah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam replied,

الَّتِي تَسُرُّهُ إِذَا نَظَرَ، وَتُطِيعُهُ إِذَا أَمَرَ، وَلَا تُخَالِفُهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِهَا بِمَا يَكْرَهُ

“The most pleasant thing when seen by the husband, obey the husband if the husband orders something, and do not dissociate the husband in himself and his property with what is hated by his husband.” (CHR. An-Nasa’i no. 3231, rated shahih by Shaykh Al-Albani)

I mean, “ does not dissociate the husband in himself and his property with what is hated by his husband”, for example the husband does not like to see his wife wearing a certain type of clothes, for example, this dress is very liked by the wife. Then a shalihah wife will put the husband's wishes first rather than his own.

This is the best female character (wife), which is she tries to improve and beautify herself when in front of her husband or whenever he is with her husband. Similarly, the main concern and focus of a wife is related to the needs, desires, and orders of the husband.

Devani wants to try to be a wife as mentioned in the hadith.
