“Did you miss this place?” the question from Arro awakens Damian from his memories of that time.
“King Agnor is very evil when punishing prisoners here, but he is very good at leading,” Damian replied, he still stepped carefully but he knew exactly where his goal was.
Arro also knows how Damian can become a warrior in the Upper World. Levi told him. Levi knows a lot of important information. Not only was he a close friend, but his father, who was a royal adviser, made him aware of many classified information. Without being asked, Levi would steal any information and pass it on to Arro.
Arro looked around the Underworld, If the Upper World was so beautiful, with so many tall trees and the beauty of its creatures, then it was the exact opposite of what Arro saw now.
The ground they stepped on gave off a very piercing fishy smell, the place was only lit by a burning flame at the tip of a wood. Surprisingly, the fire did not devour the wood. Arro followed Damian's steps into a large black gate that towered high with one of the gates that had almost collapsed.
Up ahead, Arro saw a building that was as bad as the gate. Big but not fancy. To reach the main door of the building, Arro and Damian had to pass through a suspension bridge bound by a wood on the edge of the cliff. The footing was very alarming, the rows of wooden planks were already incomplete, requiring them to leap onto the remaining wooden footing. Under the bridge there is thick green water that explodes. Do not forget the stench that is also very disturbing.
“Why don't we just fly?” ask Arro curious. Crossing this bridge is not difficult as long as you have wings.
Damian smiled at the question, “The advantage of the Underworld is that not a single power possessed by otherworldly beings could be of any use here. This is His Majesty's prison. This world is an outcast for all traitors and for all those who have been put to death. This place is hell for its inhabitants.” Damian explained it in detail while treading carefully. Not to forget, he showed a safe path for Arro.
“You used to work where?” ask Arro again. It's just stale. Honestly Arro is a little uncomfortable with this place. No one will be comfortable.
“I'm on duty next to His Majesty Agnor. I used to work as his companion to punish the prisoners here.”
Arro did not make a sound again, now they had reached the main door.
“Your Majesty, allow me to enter first and persuade Agnor,” Damian proposes.
Damian nodded, not refuting anymore. Damian then moved his hand while pushing hard at the door. That door is open too. Damian smiled with relief.
“I will enter first, Your Highness.” Damian then stepped his foot first.
Arro peeked out from behind Damian. The place is so dark. There is no light. Arro hesitantly walked slowly. But just stepping a moment, Arro's body was thrown violently behind. He fell right on the bridge, causing the suspension bridge to sway. Arro balanced his body so as not to fall into the boiling water below.
Damian who saw it was surprised then ran to save Arro. He cursed himself, he should have realized that entering Agnor's building would not be that easy.
Damian helped Arro to stand up. “I'm sorry Your Highness Arro, I didn't realize Agnor cast a spell here.”
“It's okay. You go in first and tell Agnor my regards. Tell him, I came to negotiate with him,” Arro said.
“Good, Your Majesty,” Damian said then walked away.
“Wait..Tell Agnor, her pragma, I know where she is.”
Damian stiffened hearing Arro's words. He knows how Agnor tried to call and connect with her Pragma.
Damian nodded in understanding then walked in and disappeared in the darkness of the building.
