HE'S NOT HUMAN

HE'S NOT HUMAN
CHAPTER 2

Bella only complied as the man clutched her hand and led her away from the dark passageway. Although full of injuries, but did not reduce the speed of the man walking, up to half running.

The man stopped in front of the old castle that had been unused for a long time. Bella knows the castle. A place that was used as a refuge for the military during the war. Hundreds of years ago. That's what his teacher said during a history lesson about this city.

The man took off the grip of his hand and opened the door with a single push. But Bella was surprised, to her knowledge the castle was always locked tightly.

The man goes in first, then pulls Bella's wrist. Bella was just silent in fear. Then, the man closed the door and placed his palm over the door, then closed his eyes and said something very foreign.

"Κλείστε και κλειδώστε. προστατέψτε εμάς που βρισκόμαστε σε αυτό"

But then again, Bella understood what the man was saying.

"Closed and locked. Protect us who are in it."

After the man uttered his spell suddenly the man fell down, he held the wound that was around his stomach.

The pitying Bella approached him and sat down in front of the man. He knew the man had no ill intentions for him, he was just a man - though not a man - who was being hurt.

Bella took out a clean handkerchief from her bag and helped to hold the wound in the man's stomach. Bella did not care about the strange look the man gave her.

From this close distance, Bella just noticed clearly the appearance of this man. So good-looking. His face is perfectly sculpted, very stunning. The water dripping from her hair due to the rain, further makes the blood flow in Bella's body heat up. Bella only cursed anyone who had injured such a beautiful body. No. .. no ... Bella shook her head, what was she thinking? There was no way he would suddenly be charmed at the creature that nearly killed him a few minutes ago.

"Are you not afraid of me?" the man asked, taking Bella's mind off.

"Of course I'm afraid of you. But what is the worst chance of helping you? Death? I'm really looking forward to it" Bella said casually.

"Ck. All humans are just as naive." The man looked at Bella.

"Yes, I agree with you" replied Bella again. He was still trying to hold back the blood flow that had almost dried up in the man's wound.

"Sorry, I don't mean to interfere with whatever happens to you, but I don't want to be a suspect if people find you here in a lifeless state." Bella tried to glance at the man who was enduring her pain.

"Don't mind me, all these wounds will be gone tomorrow. I just need to hang on tonight."

"Alright, I think, I'm no longer needed here. I'm going home now" said Bella as she began to stand.

"Never get out of this castle until the sun comes up!" the man's orders, he's serious. "Someone up there is looking for me" he continued.

Bella seemed to weigh what she was about to say. "Did you fall from there?" Bella raised her head, meaning the sky.

The man just nodded. "A big problem happened, I can't go back to this situation" the man said.

"Hahahah" The man laughed loudly, echoing throughout the castle building, "I don't have to drag you here and protect you, if you can be swayed at my command."

Bella was silent for a moment while remembering. "You mean, when you told me to go back to where I came from?"

The man was shocked, his face was wondering. "How do you know what I'm saying?"

"I don't know, my mind translated it to me." Bella herself doesn't understand.

The man was silent for a moment, while Bella turned her attention and looked around. He was looking for a comfortable place for her. Honestly, he's a little hungry, he hasn't eaten anything tonight.

The atmosphere in the castle is not as bad as the appearance of the building, it still looks very sturdy despite the dust everywhere. The humid air and the sound of heavy rain outside added to the gripping impression.

"Miss, what's your name?" ask the man again.

"I'm Bella, your name?" Bella looked at the man.

"Arro," he replied with a strange smile.

...****************...

From the high and large glass that was on the ceiling of the castle, Bella knew that the day was bright. She was stunned, and immediately looked for the man, Arro, but she did not see him. Bella was confused, was last night just her dream? Or is he too tired to hallucinate himself?

While being confused, Bella saw a jet-black wing feather nearby. He picks it up, watches it and that's when Bella realizes that what happened to her last night wasn't just a hallucination. Bella picked up her bag, put in the fur and walked home.

When she got home, her mother was nowhere to be seen. Every Sunday, her mother was never home, out of nowhere. This is the only day Bella can breathe. He can clean clothes and a messy house.

When cleaning the clothes room, in the corner of the room there are many piles of boxes whose contents are scattered out. Bella breathed heavily. Her mother took that stuff out again. The personal belongings of his son, Kenzo, who died.

Bella felt sadness in her heart, as she picked up one of Kenzo's favorite things. He remembers how he and Kenzo would run around the house just because Bella teased him by saying he would pick up his favorite cars or how Kenzo pranks him by hiding Bella's belongings. He and Kenzo are very close. Kenzo is like his own brother.

His hand came to a halt as he found the adoption papers at the bottom of the box. Her adoption papers, which were marked on the envelope by her adoptive mother, Jocelyn, and her adoptive father, Robert. Bella's never seen him. In fact, he never wondered about his biological parents. According to him, parents who leave their children alone especially when they are less than a week old are not good parents. All this time, Bella only felt love from Ms. Rina the caretaker of the orphanage. Robert and Jocelyn were certainly more affectionate towards Kenzo, though, they treated Bella well. Well, at least Jocelyn used to be like that.

He carefully opened the adoption papers. Is he ready to know who his birth parents are? At least, his real parents' names. Even if he knew, he would never look for them, like how they never looked for him.

But, what he saw was the caption "UNKNOWN" printed there. Whatisthis? does that mean her parents left her in front of the orphanage alone? Bella's disappointed. Very Disappointed. He smiled weakly. Heart's crushed. No one seems to want it in this world.
