HE'S NOT HUMAN
CHAPTER 7

Bella's vegetables heard the sound of water falling drop by drop. Cold, moist air felt on his skin. The smell of iron that has rusted is also very stinging. Bella blinked her eyes, trying to get the light that pierced into her senses.

Bella sees an incandescent lamp that just hangs origin there. His light can only illuminate. He was lying on a hard surface with a dark green weathered cloth. To his right, only the wall was mossy, while to his left was a fence of iron with one door locked with a large chain. Bella wakes up, she's in a prison in the middle of nowhere.

Bella got up from her bed, sat down and hugged herself, still hoping that Arro would hear her terrified heart. His tears were flowing but he did not make any sound. He was afraid that the creature would appear if he heard it cry. But, a voice from ahead was faintly heard. Bella lay back down, and closed her eyes, pretending to still be asleep. Then the footsteps stopped right in front of his cell door.

"Why not take him to Vasileion?" said one of them.

"This is the request of His Majesty Argus" replied another. Wait, this voice is like no stranger to Bella.

"This isn't his territory, he must be hard-pressed to find this girl."

"Stupid. Putting him in the human world is as good as dying."

"Zayn, we don't have a choice."

Bella gasped at the name. Not likely. Zayn was friendly to him, and always helped him. Bella, who was still closing her eyes, tried her hardest not to make a sound.

"I've been watching him for a few weeks. I should have gotten my reward"

"Yes. Tell that to His Majesty Argus"

"Who would have thought, the Prince who is notoriously disabled for not having Pragma turned out to be in love with this human girl."

"Don't you know yet? I stole information from the royal guard, they said this human is the prince's pragma. Even His Majesty Argus himself ordered Abercio to bring him here."

"Hey.. Come onl. He has no sign. I checked it out." Zayn laughed a little when he said that.

"What do you mean?"

"Why do you think I want to work on human land? That's because I have to make sure he doesn't have the pragma's mark." Zayn's voice was heard.

"Hahahaha.. Are you really eyeing the position of the royal council?"

"Haha. You know me very well"

Bella listened to the conversation, with many questions. Who they mean. What does this have to do with all this. Did they think wrong? He's just an orphan trying to get his life together every day.

Then Bella just heard the sound of the footsteps away. He opened his eyes, got up and sat back against the mossy wall. If he is still alive until he meets Arro, then Arro must explain everything.

When Bella was still with her mind. He heard a loud noise from up ahead. Bella sharpens her hearing. Then she heard a groan and a scream followed by the sound of someone falling violently to the ground, Bella covered her ears. He didn't like to hear that voice. I don't know why it's like a trauma to him.

Bella was crying. He still shut his ears tightly.

"Arro?" lirih. Bella reflexes hugging Arro strong.

"Yes, it's me. I'm sorry I'm late" Arro returned Bella's warm embrace. He calms down Bella who is still sobbing.

"Arro, we must hurry. Argus' army is coming soon." Levi's voice there interrupts.

Arro realizes the situation is still not safe, takes Bella to her arms, and puts one hand on her back and the other hand under her knees. "Bella´s. Close your eyes. And trust me."

Bella complies, and puts her hand against Arro's neck. Bella no longer knows the rhythm of her heart. Is it because he feels good to meet Arro again or because of his position with Arro now.

Bella, who was still closing her eyes, heard several flaps of wings clashing against each other. Then replaced with the sound of screams that are mutually simple. Levi yelled a lot and ordered his troops to change course. Among the chaotic sounds, Bella felt the night wind growing colder. Bella felt like she was flying straight up into the sky.

"Now it's safe, open Bell's eyes." Arro's orders still carry him into space.

Bella slowly opened her eyes. He saw down there the view of his city that glittered like a beautiful expanse of stars. In the back there was Levi following them. Bella felt comfortable and safe, she almost forgot about the bad incident.

"Where are you taking me?" bella asked, she saw Arro's face very close. Bella traced that beautiful face. He felt happiness in his heart. Happy when you can count on others. As he begins to feel important to others. Is it okay to feel happy like this? ask Bella to herself. He was afraid, God took that happiness again.

Arro smiled faintly, he could feel Bella watching him. "I want to take you to the kingdom, but the situation has not calmed down. I'll take you home and take care of you."

"Arro ... Did you really ignore me?" bella said softly with a disappointed tone.

"I'm not really ignoring you. I'm watching you from far away. It's just that night, some people kept me busy, so I was fooled. Ii'm sorry. I can't ignore you." Arro looked down to see Bella in his arms. Bella bowed in embarrassment and nodded in understanding.

When they reached Bella's yard. Some people looked at them in surprise and disbelief. One of the women ran while screaming in fear. Arro who noticed it asked Levi to take care of it. Bella, shocked to hear Arro's orders, tries to stop Levi. "What do you mean, clean them up?" ask Bella to panic.

"What do you think?" Levi asked again.

"You didn't mean to kill them, did you?" ask Bella seriously.

"Jeez Bella .. We don't go around killing people just like that. We're just hypnotizing them to forget what they saw." Levi held back his laughter, he could see the change in Bella's softened countenance.

"Yes, they're not like you who's not so good with my hypnotism" Arro sneered.

Bella, who had stopped the incident, faced Arro, saying, "There's so much I want to ask you."

Arro understood, he nodded to Levi, and Levi walked away to "clean up" those people.
