CHAPTER 32

Levi, Jasmine, Damian and some of the royal soldiers set out for the Kingdom of Antasia. After entering the royal area, they traveled through the city to the outskirts of the territory. They stopped when they saw a high gate and a great wall running through the forest. The king of Antasia Kingdom wanted to warn anyone not to enter the area inside.

They can't fly through the forest. The Dead Forest was not only because it was filled with towering trees without leaves, but also because of the thick white fog that severely limited their visibility.

While Damian and the five others stood guard behind Jasmine and Levi. Levi's front-runner tried to concentrate his hearing and vision.

Heavy footsteps rang out in their ears, then followed by the sound of flapping wings, then the sound returned to silence. The silence even more made the atmosphere gripping. Damian and Levi looked at each other, they both understood what they had to do. Damian immediately approached Levi and stood by his side, while the other five soldiers followed Damian and formed a circle with their backs to each other. Jasmine was inside the circle they made.

They clasped their swords. Their eyes did not stop to look for the origin of the sound. Suddenly a roar sounded. The voice was very close, but because of the white mist they could not see anything ahead there.

That was when Jasmine smelled the fragrance of the flowers they were looking for. Jasmine closed her eyes and tried to concentrate her kiss. But, he scratched his forehead. Why does that smell move. Jasmine understood immediately. He opened his eyes and shouted to those who were on guard. “On the Right!”

Hearing that shout, they immediately turned towards Jasmine's index finger. Faintly from in front of them, a five-meter-tall creature with all four legs that had claws on each of its fingers, walked out of the fog with a flat face.

The creature had a lion-like face with hair dangling along its neck. Long wings burst out from the back of the huge creature. But, something caught Jasmine's attention.

Jasmine whispered towards Levi and Damian. “The plant we are looking for is above the head of the creature.”

Levi and Damian were of course surprised. It means they have to beat the creature or make him hand over the flower.

Damian take the first step. He came forward and instantly unleashed his sword towards the front foot of the creature. When the sword landed on the skin, it broke. The creature's skin is very hard. They were of course very surprised.

All the soldiers looked at each other, they were hesitant to defeat the huge creature. While the creature just stood there and looked straight at one point.

Levi immediately pulled back Damian who was still frozen thinking about how he could break his sword. The sword was a gift from Agnor while she was still his bodyguard in the Underworld.

Levi and Damian grew even more wary if the creature attacked Jasmine. If the sword cannot kill the creature, then Damian will use his angelic powers. Although he did not know whether it would be strong enough to kill the huge creature.

The creature did not reply, he just stared straight at the girl who answered him. Suddenly the creature walked up to Jasmine, Levi and the five warriors were already preparing to attack, and the damian had already gathered his energy despite being small. But ... their movements came to a halt as the creature suddenly lowered its head position in front of Jasmine.

Jasmine who hesitated, still stretched out her hand to grab the flower but it seemed like she was not there. As Jasmine had already spread her wings to help her remove the plant, the creature instead bent its four legs and further lowered its head.

They all couldn't believe what they saw. It was like kneeling in front of a beautiful princess.

“Thank you,” said Jasmine sincerely after successfully picking up the flower.

“My name is Icarus.” The creature returned to voice after returning to its original standing.
