Chapter 1: Defeating the dark lord

Darius drew his sword.directed the tip of the sword before the evil Dark Lord. Fiery eyes stared intently at the dark ruler.

"Mortal beings come to the dark dimension to oppose me? Is there no brain in your head?" The Dark Lord laughed loosely because he thought that the one who came to face him was just a lowly being without power and power.

"HEY! CAN HEAD! Shut your big mouth. We've come here to put an end to all your abominations." Darius vehemently opposed the Dark Lord right before him.

The tall Dark Lord's body like a giant and black spirit rose from his throne. His heavy footsteps caused shocks to the surrounding area. The golden knight group raised their vigilance and prepared to attack.

"It looks like your sanity has been wiped out by stupidity. To a fool like you is only one gift I can give. It's a sense of despair." The Dark Lord swung his black sword.

"Glenn!, now!" Darius gave the order.

"Good"

Glenn created a large protective wall. The Dark Lord let out a huge slash capable of splitting a hill. But Glenn's magic shield was able to withstand the attack. Glenn was a protective magician in the golden knight group. Its protective magic could not yet be matched by any magician.

"Good work, this is an opportunity to move forward. Attack!!!" With a searing overflow of spirit Darius advanced to the frontlines along with his two friends Fiona and Kay. Darius who was a swordsman attacked the Dark Lord with his powerful fighting abilities. He is able to fight a draw against creatures that are ten times the size of him.

Darius's slash managed to injure the dark ruler's hand.

"Ho. I thought you were just a bunch of stupid creatures who wanted to save lives." Said the Dark Lord while lamenting his injured right hand.

"Can head!!! look where are you ha?" Fiona lunged at high speed. The Dark Lord's body was successfully injured with both of his big knives. A fast knight best in his country.

Fiona was chosen to be a member of the golden knight because of her talent that lies in attacking speed. Although his weapon was not that big yet it did not change the fact that his attack was so deadly. The Dark Lord's massive body was slashed apart by the swift attack from Fiona.

"One more roach bully." The Dark Lord launched a fist into the ground.

With just one fist alone has caused a great earthquake. Darius lost his balance until he let his guard down and was kicked by the Dark Lord's giant foot. He bounced to the back line. A lot of blood came out from the mouth of the golden knight group leader.

"Dam." Darius was in pain.

Respondingly. Yui who was a healing sorcerer instantly treated Darius' wounds. Within minutes, Darius's wounds had recovered.

"Don't let your guard down if you die then it ends with the fate of the Invandara country" said Yui.

"If I die then you must continue this fight of mine" replied Darius.

"Without you, there's no chance of beating that tin head."

"Darius! you all right?" kay asked as he slid his arrow towards the enemy.

Kay's arrow incarnated into a huge snake wrapped around the Dark Lord's body. Magic archers that can make a lot of tricks. Kay is very good at dispelling her enemies. Now the Dark Lord was restrained unflappily with a snake wrapped around his body.

"A pretty good toy. But a toy is still a toy" Dark Lord said.

"GRAAA!!!" The roar of the dark lord wreaked great havoc on the battlefield. The huge snake wrapped around his body instantly disappeared. All the wounds that had been painstakingly made by the golden knight group disappeared without a trace.

The Dark Lord counterattacked. His big fist hit Fiona's body. He managed to predict the direction of movement of that fast knight. Fiona slammed so far out of the fight area.

"FIO!" Shouted Darius.

Kay also became a victim of the dark ruler's fist. His body slammed into Darius and Yui. The situation turned 180 degrees in a few seconds. Now the golden knight group is in danger. The Dark Lord managed to urge them.

"You came to the dark dimension just to give your life. A futile attempt. No one can defeat me because I am the eternal ruler."

The Dark Lord showed his power. A huge meteorite he dropped from the sky. Glenn swiftly made a protective wall. As powerful as it was, Glenn held back the meteor's impact. Out blood from his eyes and nose because it expels a lot of energy. Yui continues to give Glenn recovery so he can survive.

"Hold Glenn." Yui expended all her strength on Glenn. This made Glenn overwhelmed by the weight of the meteor. The blood coming out of his eyes and nose was getting more and more. Glenn's consciousness is declining. The cracks began to appear on the protective wall.

"Damn, this wall can't last much longer" Darius said.

Without thinking about his condition, Darius made a crazy decision. He came forward against the big meteor. Just when the protective wall was destroyed, he was already in a steady position to withstand the huge hot boulder threatening the life of his comrade.

Darius held off the meteor with his sword. Both of his hands were burning in the intense heat. The heat of the meteor started to burn some of his face.

"YUI! USE YOUR TELEPORTATION MAGIC!!!. SAVE GLENN!!!." Darius shouted loudly while enduring the weight and heat of the meteor.

"But I haven't mastered that magic perfectly!, I can only bring one person, then what about you?" Worry struck Yui.

"DO IT! AARGH!!!" The heat began to burn Darius' body.

"FROM!!!" Shouted Yui.

"GO!"

With a heavy heart and teardrops, Yui teleports. Leaving Darius who was protecting him half dead. He moved to a place far from the meteor's fall area. Meanwhile Darius was still fighting against the boulder itself.

"You should have realized your position. You are in this world just to serve me. Surrender and submit obediently to me, man." The Dark Lord added another meteor.

Darius was getting more and more depressed, his hands were already burning. His armor began to melt due to the heat of the meteor.

"A futile death like this is what you want? What an incomparable folly," said the Dark Lord.

"I'M NOT GOING TO DIE! BEFORE SPLITTING YOUR CAN HEAD OFF!!!"

Darius strengthened his horses. Focusing power on the sword and pushing back against the meteor.

"HIAH!!!"

A slash with full power he let out. His slash managed to split the two meteors in half. Explosions caused by the splitting of the meteor caused damage within a large radius. Glenn had made a shield to protect Yui from the explosion before she completely collapsed. The Dark Lord really did not expect that there were humans who could still stand up after receiving two huge meteor strikes.

Darius' body was a little staggered. He tried to stand before his greatest enemy. A never-shaky determination drives Darius to keep fighting. All the cruelty of the dark ruler that makes the sobs of the people of the Invandara country must end here. This is all for the future of the people of the land of Invandara.

"Even if I had to die to defeat a bastard like you, I would do it for my country and my kingdom." Darius pointed his sword tip at the Dark Lord.

Dark swung the sword. His powerful attack blew Darius' body up to several hundred meters away. With heavy bleeding, Darius tried to get up and strike back. His other comrades were still unconscious from the Dark Lord's attack. Only Yui was left exhausted. Despair and doubt begin to envelop Yui's heart.

Yui shed tears. He was upset with her at this moment. Constantly he forced himself to cast magic to help his leader, but what power. His strength was up to help Glenn. He has reached the limit of his ability.

"Come on!, can I really do nothing?!" said annoyed Yui.

"Say subject!" The Dark Lord kicked Darius.

Trying to make the leader of the golden knight group bend their knees before him. He had repeatedly struck and kicked, but Darius stood back and drew a sword at him.

"Basar stubborn man!." The Dark Lord took a swing to swing his sword. With such a severe wound condition, it was impossible for Darius to dodge the Dark Lord's attack.

"Death, lowly creature" said the Dark Lord and he launched his attack.

Darius took a deflecting position while closing his eyes. He knew his body would not be strong enough to withstand this attack. He had also predicted that his body would soon be blown away even further than before. It had been a few seconds, but the attack had not reached him.

He also opened his eyes. Surprised he found the Dark Lord restrained by huge, shining chains. The chain that appeared out of nowhere paralyzed the Dark Lord's movements and lifted the dark lord upward.

"What's this?! Unhand me! Release!!!" Dark yelled thrashing.

The chains were firmly anchoring him. Makes him not warty. Yui who saw that was dumbfounded. The chain wrapped around one of the Dark Lord's fingers until it broke. Witnessed by Yui, Yui finally realizes something. A light of hope was again seen in his eyes.

Yui forced herself to teleport to Darius' place. He approached his badly wounded leader.

"From quickly attack him!, while he does not touch the ground," said Yui who was aware of the Dark Lord's flaw. The power and immortality of the Dark Lord would not be active if he did not touch the ground.

"He's too high on top" replied Darius.

At that very moment, a protective wall arranged in sequence like a ladder appeared before them.

"This magic...., Glenn?!" Surprised by Yui.

They both looked away. It seemed Glenn was desperately trying to bring out all his strength to make the ladder.

"sort out the head of the can.." Glenn spoke with a breath.

Darius did not waste this opportunity. Soon he ran towards the restrained Dark Lord. His entire strength he unleashed with an overflow of determination. That power caused a flame to the sword eyes he held.

"HIAH!!! FOR INVANDARA!" Shouted Darius.

His fiery sword split open the great body of the dark lord. The Dark Lord screamed loudly. Slowly his entire body disappeared like ashes blown by the wind.

"CHUCK!!!" his loud screams sounded loud. Yui covers her ears.

The Dark Lord's body was wiped out in a matter of seconds. Darius fell from his position. Yui responsibly helped her leader to stand up. Aided by Yui, Darius walked towards his comrades. Fiona, who had bounced while fighting the Dark Lord, had now re-assembled with her group.

"Is it over?" fiona asked as she held onto her injured waist.

"It's over. We win Fiona, we win." Yui replied.

Yui hugs Fiona full of bliss. Their struggle ended in victory. Their future is now safe. They cannot hold back happy tears. The unconscious Kay had already started to respond, she opened her eyes slowly. The first thing he saw was tears flowing down his comrades' cheeks.

"Where's the head of the can!? Have we won!?" Ask Kay with a fuss.

"It's over, man. The future of our country is now secure" replied Darius.

Kay saw the condition of Darius. Yui explained what had happened to Kay while treating Darius' wounds manually (without magic). Right now Yui's power was simply not enough to cast magic.

They were all wondering about the chains that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. No one has mastered such magic in their country. The mysterious chain had saved them and the future of their country.

"We'll talk about that later. Now we have to get out of this dimension, right away" Fiona said.

Soon they were preparing to come out of the dark dimension. Yui rested for a moment, gathering enough manpower to create a portal before finally opening the portal towards the Invandara.

One by one they passed through the portal. Until it was Darius' turn to pass through the portal and return to his beloved country. A happy smile was painted on his face. He wants to portal Slowly.

Suddenly his body bounced when he touched the inter-dimensional portal. All his group colleagues were stunned to see that happen. They also panic. Darius tried to get through it again, but he still couldn't.

"Why can't Darius get through the portal, Yui?" Glenn asked in a panic.

They start to get confused. Yui tried hard to pull Darius through the portal, but Darius still could not get through it.

"Friends, what's going on?" darius was full of confusion. He was unable to pass through the portal as if it would not allow him to leave the dark dimension. Slowly the portal began to close. As their panic grows, Yui tries hard to prevent the portal from closing.

"Hurry up and do something or she'll be trapped in the dark dimension!" said Kay.

"I'm trying to." Yui fought hard to pull out Darius.

The portal is closing. Until it is no longer possible to pass. They could do nothing but see that Darius could not get out of the dark dimension.

"Darius!" yui shouted.

"Friends!"

Darius tried to forcefully open the portal with both hands, but that was impossible. In the end, he could only cope with the situation. His friends were so upset that they were unable to help him. The dimensional portal was already almost completely closed.

"Darius!, I promise to get you out of there!. Please hold on, I will definitely set you free!" Yui's loud speech was delivered right before the portal closed.

Darius bowed lethargic, lamenting his fate trapped in a dark dimension full of gloom. The pleasure fades. He didn't expect it to end like this. He could not bring glory to the land of Invandara together with his friends.

Though his struggle was so hard full of wounds, but he was instead stuck in a bad place like this. Darius slapped his cheeks slowly. He tried to get rid of the negative thoughts in his head.

"I must not despair, the most important thing is that Invandara is safe. Now that I have to find a way out of here, it's definitely not hard." Darius revived his spirit. For him this kind of thing should not dampen his spirit as a warrior.

"Look at you guys, I promise to get out of here soon and catch up with you. After that we will celebrate this victory together." Inner Darius.
