Chapter 44: Time off to arrive

Seirus walked lethargicly while leaning his head against his best friend's shoulder, finally the meeting that busied him was finished.

"I'm hungry, we just go to your mom's diner, how about it?" bargain Seirus to his friend Deri.

"We have to make sure Darius and his friends do their job well, after that we can leave" Deri replied.

"Hmmm..., okay."

Suddenly, commander Grafalt called the two of them while their fatigue was at its peak. Inevitably, they had to come, there was something Commander Grafalt wanted to convey to them.

"Spread the announcement of the NGB leave to the knights, make sure those of noble blood hear this announcement" Commander Grafalt ordered.

Deri felt something strange on them, their faces look groggy (except Darius) as if they were facing something tense. Khain and Yufon's tone also tend to be nervous, not as usual.

"You guys look nervous, is there something wrong with how I look?" ask Deri.

"T..ttt..., no, we're just nervous seeing your beauty, commander," Torre replied.

Deri stared at Torre's astonishment.

"Certainly that?" ask me for the second time.

Khain, Torre and Yufon with their compotes nodded, although their facial expressions were not convincing at all.

"All right, thank you for your compliments. Remember, from tomorrow we leave because it is near NGB, take care of your health while outside" explained Deri.

"Okay, commander," answered Torre, Khain and Yufon in unison.

Deri turned his gaze towards Darius.

"Are you also going to follow the NGB this year, Darius?" ask Deri, seriously.

"NGB is what?" ask Darius.

Deri and all of Darius' friends immediately patted their foreheads, not expecting Darius not to know about the famous Nobility Grand Battle competition inside or outside Invandara.

It was unexpected by them that Darius would ask back.

"Are you really Hunt's noble or not? NGB time alone you don't know" said astonished Deri.

"When the Hunt nobility is very routine in following this competition, lo," said Yufon.

"Huh?"

Darius did not understand at all, in the end Torre gave a brief explanation of the Nobility Grand Battle or commonly abbreviated as NGB. In less than a minute, Darius understood.

"Competition fights between nobles? it seems like a thrill" said Darius.

"The prizes in this competition also vary, ranging from cash to honorary titles and there will certainly be a big award for the nobles who won it" Torre explained.

"There will even be special rights to the NGB this time and you are free to vote for it if you win" Yufon said.

Hearing that his opponent was the nobles, there was interest in Darius' heart to enter the competition.

"I will come" said Darius.

Darius was not satisfied with the challenge in K.A.O, he was always easy to win in every fight and it bored him. He wanted to follow the NGB not because of nominal money or large awards presented in the competition, but because he sought excitement in fighting.

Darius hopes big against the NGB competition, hopefully he can find an opponent who can fight against a draw himself in that competition.
