Still at the Grand Mansion....

Deri opens a catalog of monsters to look for data on creatures that look like Darius, though he repeatedly says he's human.

"It's been 200 pages but nothing is similar" said Deri as he continued to turn page after page of the book.

As he searches for data, there appears to be a serious conversation between Carol and Darius.

It was there that Darius told her what happened to her while still confined within the dark dimension.

Starting from how to survive to how he got out of there, everything he told in detail except his meeting with Goddess Pamella.

"Bracket in another dimension?"

Carol raised her next to her eyebrows.

"Then you survived by eating the flesh of the monster you defeated?"

Darius nodded.

Mara suddenly felt nauseous after hearing that.

"Where's the bathroom?" ask Mara to Raven.

"Rear, near the kitchen."

Soon she ran to the back to vomit.

"It seems that you've disgusted her" Carol said, watching as Mara ran into the bathroom.

Back to the conversation between Carol and Darius.

"So you fought an enemy from another dimension and were locked up in that dimension after defeating him, hmm..."

Carol has a chin.

"What's wrong?" ask Darius.

"Your story just happens to be exactly like the story of a subordinate of His Holiness Drake Hunt in Ezius's time," Carol said.

"There was a figure who used to be a sword and shield of His Majesty Drake before he became king, his name is the same as your name but his noble clan is still a mystery, is it possible that you are that person?"

Carol stared at Darius at a close distance until she almost touched her nose.

"I've heard from Mara, you claimed to be the older brother of Her Majesty Drake when you visited her at the hospital" Carol said.

"Initially after I heard that, I thought it was bullshit but..."

Slowly Carol glanced at Mara who had just stepped out of the bathroom and looked back at Darius.

"... After seeing your synchronization with him, there is a desire to believe your words" he said.

Darius responds with a smile, until Mara is back among them.

"Where was our conversation? oh yeah, you eat monster meat and that's what makes your body change" Mara said.

"It's not really monster meat that makes me turn like this, but..."

Darius' words were cut off for a moment.

"... There is a power within me that allows me to absorb the power of every creature I eat and this power is also able to absorb magic" he explained.

"Absorb you say?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Mara remembered something...

"ABbarrassing?"

He recalled the time when he was saved by Darius during the graduation exam of the beginning magic division, when he was exposed to the master's eating weapon and fortunately Darius was willing to save himself.

"When you helped me during the graduation exam, the temperature of the hot element that burned my body suddenly subsided by itself, was it because of your strength?" ask Mara.

"True, it is better that you do not seek the origin of my power, for I myself do not know" said Darius.

Of course this is surprising, because such power never existed in the magic world.

"Surprisingly, this physical change is still ongoing, even though I no longer eat monster meat, this is what makes me wonder" he continued.

Shortly after Raven joined in their conversation, she expressed her suspicion of Hunt.

At first he suspected that all this was the magic of Forbidden Summon that Hunt had launched on his master.

"It's magic beyond what His Majesty Drake taught, we didn't learn it" Carol said.

Now it is clear that what happened to Darius was purely from himself, not from the influence of sent magic.

Turning to Deri who was still busy looking for data in the monster catalog book, it seemed like he was getting tired of looking for the monster data he wanted until he stopped on page 888.

There was one monster whose characteristics matched Darius' current appearance.

Deri showed the data he got in that catalog.

The monster catalog data on page 888 shows data on a long-lost mythological creature, named Hyper Demon.

This creature has exactly the same characteristics as Darius, but in the illustration picture in the book, this creature has six wings in the absence of lip leaves.

It made all its sharp teeth so clear, this creature lived and lived in the underworld before the battle between the celestial guards and the creatures of the underworld.

"Have you seen this thing?" darius whispered to Raven.

"I've never seen this horrible creature in my entire life" she said.

Raven who is an underworld creature himself has never once met this creature.

"There is no evidence that this creature is extinct, so there is still a possibility that the Hyper Demon creature still exists" said Deri as he glanced at Darius.

"Don't look at me like that" Darius said.

He did not like it when Deri looked at him as if he was an understanding creature in the catalog book.

Deri closed his book, he began to focus on Darius who had been scratching things like jewels on his forehead.

Slowly Deri sighed for a moment, in a subtle tone he said...

"Alright then, let's continue this discussion another time."

He got up from the sofa and grabbed his best friend who fainted due to teflon.

"Would you like to go?" ask Raven.

"Yes sir, I have something to research, besides it seems that my colleague has gone too deep into the world of his dreams," he replied as he glanced at the seemingly slumbering Seirus.

"Well then, thank you for helping me. "

"By pleasure."

The two of them shook hands before Deri left.

Soon Mara and Carol return to Hunt's headquarters before their Queen arrives.

Mara occasionally glanced at Darius with an embarrassed look, unlike her usual self.

Carol had a little chat with Darius before leaving..

"Hey, you easily told us all that, aren't you worried that I'd report everything you said to the Queen?" ask Carol.

"I don't mind at all, it's up to you to report it or not" Darius replied.

"For a knight, you're not alert" Carol said.

"Instead, you guys should be on the lookout, since I don't rely on this power to fight."

Darius clenched his right hand.

"I wouldn't be able to become a great knight if I just depended on such strength because being strong is impractical, I want to draw with you anyway" he said.

"What?"

Carol did not understand Darius's words.

"I was bored because since I was free from that curse dimension, I could always defeat my enemies with just one strike, it was very boring..."

"... I want to feel the thrill of the fight every once in a while, so try to find a way to draw with me with all the information I gave you," Darius said with confidence.

Carol smiled slightly hearing that.

"You're such a fool."

Carol turned her face and grabbed Mara with both hands.

"While this sounds ridiculous, but I must admit that you deserve to be called Hunt, see you later" Carol said before disappearing from sight.

He used teleportation to leave.

Raven approached her master, there was something she needed to question.

"Is it okay to let them know about your strength, sir?"

"It doesn't matter, after all they're not as big as Drake's other grandchildren" Darius replied.

"Well if you say that."

Raven lowered her head, obeying her master.

"Then can you prepare food for me, Raven?"

"Okay, I'll do it soon."
