"A message?" Darius lamented that the stone was full of question marks. He found a stone with a stone engraved on its surface. "Who's the one who carved this message?" that was the question that was in Darius' head at the moment. Carefully, Darius noticed all the inscriptions engraved on the stone he found.
..."For the people trapped in this place. Read this message. Go to the black tower, 49 kilometers, just west of Hydra's lair."...
So many messages were engraved on the surface of the stone.
Darius thought for a moment after reading the message. There were some questions in his head.
"Black tower? I never knew it. Who has written this message? so what's the purpose?" Ask Darius inwardly. A possibility in his mind.
"Is it possible this is a clue to get out of here?" This possibility gave Darius a light of hope. Although this is still a possibility, but he decided to keep trying.
He still does not know who the author of the message is and what its purpose is, maybe he can find the answer by following the direction of the message on the stone.
Darius knew where to go first. He has often hunted strange monsters with super-fast regeneration speed, which is called Hydra.
So he knew where the monster nest was. His fast running speed made him reach the nest of the Hydra monster. Unfortunately, the Hydra monster was no longer in its nest. Darius had taken out all the Hydra in the nest.
Compared to the flesh of other monsters, Darius preferred the flesh of Hydra. Because according to him, Hydra meat is softer and easier to chew. That caused him to hunt down Hydra too often the number of monsters was getting smaller. Even now the monster figure he no longer met.
"The nest is completely empty. Is it possible that they (Hydra) are extinct?" Ask Darius. He planned to bring Hydra's flesh to accompany his journey to the black tower. But there was not a single Hydra he had encountered.
"Yes that's it." Darius got out of the Hydra's lair and went straight west. He ran so fast that he could get to the black tower. The longer, Darius increased his speed. Curiosity cannot hold. He wanted to know what was inside the tower. In his heart, he wished there was a way out of this dimension.
A towering black tower had appeared in his eyes. He was running faster...
BLUEHOO!!!
And he hit the wall of the tower because he was unable to stop the speed of his run. The wall of the tower was destroyed. Darius was a little bit slammed. He realized that he had entered the tower without going through the entrance.
"Ouch..." Darius rubbed his head slightly dizzy, then spread his gaze around. The inside of the tower was wider than he thought. Green lights scattered like fireflies, illuminating the entire inside of the tower. I don't know where this scattered light came from.
"Who erected a tower of this size in the dark dimension? The Dark Lord?" Inner Darius.
Darius traced this magnificent tower. There are so many rooms here. This confuses himself.
"Now, where should I go?" Inner Darius, while climbing the stairs to the top floor of the black tower. He thought, maybe above there will be a clue that he can find. Halfway up to the top floor, suddenly a small golden light appeared right in front of him.
That light of unknown origin blocked Darius right in the face. Darius was shocked.
"What is this?!" surprised Darius, while shaking his hands like he was driving away mosquitoes.
The light circled around Darius several times, then slowly grew brighter. It then turned into a shining line. The line seems to indicate a direction towards somewhere.
Darius was shocked by what he saw. His hand tried to touch that shining line. He did not know where this line would lead him. Will this line lead him to the exit? or vice-versa? with great courage and still somewhat surprised, Darius followed that line.
Alertly, he followed the line of light that appeared before him a moment ago. The line led him to a room on the 3rd floor. Darius opened the door to the room. Instantly, the line of light that had led him here instantly vanished without a trace, along with the opening of the door of the room.
In the room shown by the line of light, there was a large altar. It looks like an altar used for worship. Judging from its unkempt appearance, it seemed like this altar had been unused for centuries. Above there is a symbol carving that becomes a symbol for worshiped creatures.
Darius felt alien to the symbol on the altar. He's never seen it at all. The existence of this altar is a sign that someone has lived in here and worshiped something. But who? what is adored?.
"Welcome, knights of the land of Invandara." A voice breaks the shades of silence. Darius pointed the sword at the source of the sound. A woman with a somewhat translucent form was present before Darius. A dark aura came out from all over the foreign woman's body.
"Who are you? where'd you know where I came from?" Darius asked, full of vigilance.
Darius frowned and was still pointing his gun.
"Let your weapons down, knight. I'm not some wild monster that's gonna attack you." Pamella approached Darius. Still in a state of alert, Darius kept his distance from him.
"The ruler of the dark dimension? are you an ally of the Dark Lord?'' Ask Darius.
"No, I'm here to thank you and beg for your help" Pamella replied. Hearing that, Darius slowly lowered his weapon.
"Thank you?" Darius did not know what services he did to this Goddess, so he thanked her. Pamella lowered her head, then clasped Darius' right hand.
"Thank you, for stopping the Dark Lord. Thanks to you, I have a chance to regain my perfect form." That's how he said.
"What do you mean?" Darius did not understand.
"Centuries ago, I was destroyed by a Goddess of the sky when a war between the underworld and the sky guards took place. My body is also divided into 5 nuclei..." Pamella explained.
"The five cores were scattered into several regions in this dimension. The beings here must have discovered my five cores and used them for their own benefit. One of those presumptuous beings who used my core only for his selfishness was the Dark Lord." Pamela continued her explanation.
"So all this time, the Dark Lord's power came from you?" ask Darius. Pamella nodded slowly.
"The me that is before you right now is the form of one of the cores of my body that you have freed from the Dark Lord. That's why I'm grateful" Pamella replied. He also explained what the body's core looks like.
The magic gem that possessed various rare powers, that was the embodiment of Pamella's core body. Darius was reminded of the Dark Lord being able to drop meteors from the sky. That kind of power is very energy draining and takes time. But the Dark Lord could instantly drop meteors from the sky in a very short period of time. That's hard to believe.
"The tinhead stole the power of a Goddess. His power is terrible." Mumbled Darius.
"I'm glad you came here after seeing the clue I gave you." Awakened already the curiosity that struck before struck Darius. So he's the one who carved the clue into the rock that led Darius here.
"Now there are four uncollected nuclei left. Darius, I need you to help me get back to being. Instead, I'm gonna get you out of here." Darius responded quickly to Pamella's words.
"Really?" Darius was wide-eyed, his heart filled with pleasure.
"Of course, trust me. I'll get you out of this dimension, after you help me" Pamella replied.
"I hope you keep your promise" said Darius.
"A Goddess has always kept her promise." Pamella said with great dignity. The knight was very pleased.
Finally, after a long excruciating wait. He also found his way home. Pamella smiled at Darius' overjoyed behavior. After this, he would immediately come out of this dimension. I can't wait to see her family and friends again.
"One more thing I want to ask you. Who built this tower? as far as I know, this place is a monster's nest. So I was astonished that anyone would build a tower with an altar in this dangerous place" Darius issued a statement that had shackled his mind.
"Is there anyone else here besides me?" ask Darius.
"This tower was built by my devotees in the prewar period . They are the Nightmare race. They are creatures capable of controlling monsters and dark forces" Pamella replied.
"Unfortunately, they became extinct due to the impact of wars involving the underworld. Now the monsters here are wild because of the extinction of the race that can control them" he said. So that's why, the monsters here are so wild. Without the Nightmare race, the monsters here become uncontrollable. Darius sheathed his drawn sword, then approached Pamella.
"Where should I go find the core of your body?" ask Darius.
Seriate....
