Tiana's reflexes turned around for a moment, narrowing her eyes as she felt very surprised by Rafael's sudden decision. He turned off the boisterous television showing the main character's infidelity drama.

"What did you say? Say it again." Tiana requested a re-broadcast from her son to make sure.

Rafael now loosens his tie with the rhythm of the breath he tries to synchronize. "I will marry Alesha, Ma," he said in a stern tone.

Tiana now blinked almost in disbelief. His smile slowly expands. The woman was obviously happy, even happy. "What do you really say, honey?" Tiana was still checking again with a smile on her face.

No real answers needed. Enough of that. Tiana now imagines a wedding reception and celebration that Rafael has never experienced before because in the past, only had a series wedding.

However, now her son's marriage had nothing to do with keeping it a secret.

Looking at his mother's happy face, Rafael now sighed in despair. I really don't want to ruin the happy mood. However, he recalls that his ultimate goal is to uncover Alesha's lies.

The man finally took a breath, trying to speak calmly. "Ma, there's one more thing I want to say."

"What other things?" Tiana now looked at Rafael with a strange look.

"It's about Alesha's parents" replied Rafael skeptically.

Hearing Alesha's parents mentioned by her son, the woman's curiosity naturally increased, but seeing Rafael's serious face, made her a little worried.

"What about Alesha's parents?"

"I can't tell you this situation, but there's one thing you should know." Rafael let out a muffled voice. "Alesha's parents aren't actually on a business trip." Next, lay out the core of the problem.

Rafael's mother frowned confusedly. "I don't understand what you're saying. So, where are they?"

"Actually .. his father is dead and his mother is hospitalized." Rafael now dared to look at his mother's face.

Tiana's reflex opened her eyelids wide. "Hospital? Whatchu mean?"

"Yes, Ma. He ... It's not like we lied to you." Rafael spoke with sternness.

"Why?" Tiana asked with low intonation. The current situation was completely incomprehensible to him.

"Ma, we are very sorry, but this situation is very difficult for Alesha. He couldn't tell the truth because his family's financial situation wasn't good." Raphael explained.

"Yes God. Do you think Mama is a materialistic parent who will get in the way of your relationship just because of her family's financial and health problems?"

"Stop apologizing!" tiana's orders. "Tomorrow, clear all your work schedules. I have to see Alesha's mother and you have to accompany me to the hospital."

The woman then stood up, walking away from Rafael.

Rafael could now only rub his face furiously. He can only calm himself. Everything will be fine, everything will be resolved. Only such words flashed in his head now.

Until then, he decided to walk on his long legs to the room. Do the routine as usual, while hoping the night does not pass too quickly.

The next day, Rafael is awakened by the sound of kitchen utensils colliding and being so active. Rafael woke up half an hour earlier than usual. Due to the extremely sultry weather, he had no choice but to immediately take a shower to refresh his body.

As for Tiana, the night was unsettling for her. That woman really can't sleep well.

His mind kept thinking about how Alesha —calon besan and his son's future wife were in the hospital right now.

Early in the morning the woman got up and took care of all the things in the kitchen. He made more breakfast than usual. Today I decided to visit Alesha's mother. Therefore, thinking that he could not come empty-handed just like that.

Moments later, Rafael walks to the dining table and looks around his mother's kitchen. "There's a lot of food today" he said.

"I'll bring food to the candidates besan and mantu." Tiana answered only briefly. "Did you cancel all your schedules for today?" He asked later, his hand still busy playing the spatula on the frying pan.

Rafael, who was fixing his tie, stopped moving his hand. He silently looked at his mother from behind with a dumbfounded look.

'Die me. I completely forgot.' Raphael cursed in the heart.

Of course, Tiana never expected that Rafael would decide to get married just because Alesha, her former daughter-in-law had ordered this morning.

Yes, Aeleasha said earlier that she called Rafael and convinced him to get married. He also thanked his son's ex-wife for helping him.

That is what makes him so excited this morning because he will visit besan in the hospital with his proud son.

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Alesha's situation was different now. He had to tell his mother everything about Rafael. That he would marry Rafael —the man who helped him. Although it is not free and requires sacrifice.

Now, Alesha looked at the mother who had woken up from her dream. Tell the truth without rambling knowing that he does not have much time.

"Mother, I don't know if I should bless myself or not, but want to tell you that I actually have a boyfriend. He's a friend of mine who's been a lot of help."

Alesha started the conversation that morning while changing the water in the lavender glass kettle on her mother's nightstand. "Maybe they'll come see Mom today. So, I have to look beautiful."

Alesha cleansed her mother's body which still could not move her muscles, so she could not take a bath. He then continued wiping his face with a different cloth.

Alesha could not guess what her mother was thinking at the moment. He did not dare to look at her face, but wished it was no big deal.

He decided to hide the marriage contract by keeping it a secret from his mother as well.

Alesha still felt strange doing that. Since childhood is a very open girl with her mother. He would always tell the smallest things because he felt that his mother was his only friend.

But everything has changed since last year. Alesha was no longer the child who told her everything to her mother. He began to keep a lot of secrets.
