I'm Just a Supporting Character
Spending Time Together (4)

I was speechless after hearing Shin's reply.

The atmosphere became quiet once again.

"I'll call a taxi" I said then after finishing a few pieces of cake.

"I'll drive you" said Shin, leaving me speechless.

We also finished our food. After that Shin contacted someone. I thought he called the driver to pick us up.

The driver moved quickly. In just a few minutes, the black car had already arrived in front of the shop.

Actually I don't want to go home. I guess we were only outside for an hour more, not even two hours. I'm glad I got a surprise like that. Still the awkward atmosphere made me completely uncomfortable.

"Good day sir" said the driver.

Her face was very familiar, because I often saw her with Shin. Probably almost every day....

"There's the key" asked Shin as he raised his hand.

"This is sir" replied the driver politely, giving him the key.

Shin quickly opened the car door and sat in the steering wheel.

The driver and I tilted our heads in confusion.

"Come in" Shin said suddenly.

"Eh? Me?" I pointed to myself not believing.

"Who else? Let's hurry"

I got in the car immediately. At first I opened the back door, but Shin started saying "In front"

So I opened the front door of the car and sat down next to him.

Suddenly BRUM! Shin stepped on the gas pedal and took the car away and left the driver behind.

The old man's eyes glared at the sight of his young master carrying away the car and leaving himself behind.

He had very high confidence with that second young master. He had been with her since the young master was a baby. Even he had driven her every day since the young master was only 5 years old.

He loved his young master very much. He also served for a long time with the Sen family. Even old lady also strongly believed in him.

He thought his young master would have the same feelings as him. But it turns out he was wrong. His young master even died alone without any notice. Honestly, he is very sad.

"What the fuck?" he said not to believe.

"Young master! why did you leave me?!" he shouted while chasing the car in front of him.

***

I saw from the rearview mirror that the driver was chasing our car.

"Shin's? Is this okay? Why did you leave her? He's after our car!" I said while looking at the rearview mirror.

"He can go home by himself. He still has legs" Shin replied indifferently.

I glared at the answer.

I blinked looking at Shin's face. Flat and cold as usual. I'm getting goosebumps. This guy has no feelings at all.

Haa~ I sighed.

"He is indeed suitable to play the role of an evil emperor" I murmured softly.

While the driver had given up because the car in front of him continued to accelerate and disappeared in front of his eyes.

***

There were several reasons why Shin left the old man behind. First, to Shin the old man was very annoying. Because he can't control his mouth and always talks a lot. Shin's head ached as he blabbed in front of him. Second, he wants privacy. There's no way he's bringing in the driver who's always been his mother's spy. If he became a true spy, Shin would not get rid of him. But the man always overestimated what was happening and got her in trouble. Just thinking about it made him dizzy.

***

I didn't know where Shin was going to take me. But this road is not the way to my house at all!

"Shin's? We're not going home?" I timidly asked. I still remembered her cold attitude as she left her own driver.

"We'll be home later"

"Where are we going now?"

"..." - ".Shin was silent for a moment. Then he looked at me. "I don't know." he said seriously.

The response made me very upset. I wanted to get angry, but I immediately suppressed my emotions. Come to think of it this is good too. When else can you be alone with a handsome guy in the car. Even though this handsome guy is stupid, that's okay. So I need to calm down. Don't get emotional for his stupid words.

"How about a place with a good view?" I gave you a suggestion. Of course such a place is always popular and visited by many people. Means I don't lack the stock to wash my eyes (aka seeing handsome men passing by).

"All right" replied Shin.

I smiled happily. Maybe he'll take me to a cafe or a park, or a place with a beautiful view that's very popular.

A few minutes passed and we finally reached our destination.

Shin ripped off his car. After that I came out with enthusiasm.

"...."

But what am I seeing?!

I can't even speak!

I saw a place in front of my eyes. It was very arid and just full of grass. Maybe we'll see some fragile chairs around the road. The road was very dirty because it was filled with dry leaves that came out of nowhere. Then in front there is a fence that says "Don't enter. Closed". A very dry and quiet atmosphere. There's no one here! Plus the already dark sky adds to the atmosphere of this place being even more terrifying.

I even frowned in fear as I saw the lights on the side of the road twinkling, surviving life and death.

"Where are we now?" I directly asked Shin while glaring at him.

"Don't you want to see the sights?" Shin asked back with a plain face.

"There's no view here! And look at that sign! This place is obviously closed! Why did we get in!"

"Because this place belongs to me"

I stared at Shin intensely.

Can I bite this guy?

If I had heart disease, maybe I'd be in a coma from shock right now!

Shin looked at Nana's angry face and smiled. He liked the expression of the girl now. This expression was more pleasant than his lustful expression when looking at men.

Shin held Nana's hand and invited her to sit on a bench close to their position.

"This place was once very crowded. There were some trees with thick leaves. There is a flower garden on the side of the road. Then this street light is not broken like this either. This chair is full of people who want to relax. This walkway is filled with people walking leisurely with their pets, friends or family, even some of them also exercise in this place. Then in front of us was a pond filled with goldfish. It used to be quite famous" Shin said nostalgically.

I scrunched my forehead. I saw the area Shin pointed at. There were indeed some barriers near the road that were filled with dead plants. Then in front of us was a big hole with yellow soil, I guess the pool was already drying up.

"What's going on?"

"This place was once a park. The view is so beautiful. It's still beautiful if we look again, you know?"

"..." I don't want to answer that stupid question.

"Yes. It was beautiful when my mom and dad were together. When they divorced, my mother immediately threw this place away. They used to make this place their memories. So they threw everything away as their memories shattered." Shin explained with a flat face.
