Barbeque Party

It was getting dark and night was coming. I vigorously descended to the first floor. We're having a barbeque party on the front page! I'm so excited.

When I got to the front yard, I saw Shin being led by the servants to arrange some giant beavers, meat, tables and chairs.

I saw fresh red meat flashed before my eyes and subconsciously my mouth was slightly drooping. I don't eat lunch and just sleep in my room. I want to save up for all this meat! And of course I'm so hungry now.

"It hasn't started yet. You came too early" Shin said as he looked at Nana from top to bottom.

Nana remembers the casual clothes she usually wears at her house. White short sleeve t-shirt and short pants fabric in black.

Somehow Shin's face turned sour as he looked at her appearance. Too many open gaps in the legs. He doesn't like it! He grew even more furious as he recalled the number of men present in this place.

"Take your pants off" he said suddenly and made me tilt my head in confusion.

"Why?" I asked while blinking innocently. I was watching my clothes and this was perfectly normal.

"You're gonna wear pants like that in a place like this? You'll be a house of insects" Shin sneered.

Shin's right. We're on an island now, not an urban one. There was even a small forest in the backyard. That means there's a lot of mosquitoes and little insects here.

I quickly climbed upstairs, towards my room. It only took me five seconds to change my pants into sweatpants. Then I went back to the front page.

Shin was a little amazed at the speed at which Nana changed clothes.

"It will start in ten minutes, you're coming too early" Shin repeated his initial sentence.

"To arrive early is an advantage. I will take more meat and strategic places" I replied confidently.

"...."

Shin's head twitched upon hearing his reply.

I don't care about Shin's response or reaction. I quickly darted out to take the bowl and then filled it with a pile of meat. Then I sat down at the strategic spot, the closest place to the grill.

Shin looked at the two plates filled with piles of meat in front of Nana.

"Are you really going to eat this much? You've never eaten meat before?" said sarcasm.

"I haven't eaten since this morning. Just cereals. I deliberately cleaned my stomach in order to receive the barbeque meat tonight" I replied as I looked at Shin solemnly.

"..."

Shin surrender. He would not comment on the strange girl or his emotions would rise later due to her response.

I waited leisurely in my chair until everyone gathered. I look at the clock and complain. I didn't expect ten minutes to be this long.

Five minutes later, I saw Darwin heading towards us.

Darwin blinked several times when he saw Nana was ready with two plates of meat.

"You're really greedy" Darwin said in a complimenting tone. He immediately pulled out one of the chairs beside Nana and sat on it. "Are you sure you can spend it?"

"of course! I've prepared myself!" reply sure.

Shin observed the attitude of his best friend. At first he felt ordinary and was busy to arrange some meat, sauce and butter on the ingredients table. But he gasped when he saw the interaction of two people nearby.

They spoke as if they were lovers and did not care about the surroundings. Darwin even touched his head! Shin felt his heart ache a little. Inside his head no one could touch his fiancee. Even his best friend, brother, or other man.

He walked in annoyance towards them. Take another position next to Nana.

NAH! He placed his plate on the table in a sour mood. His expression was really upset.

The sound caught the attention of two other people.

"You why?" darwin was confused. He had never seen Shin put the plate down with such a loud noise. That attitude is very disrespectful. "Are you sick?"

Shin's eyes narrowed. "Aren't you going to take your meat? Or do I need to remove your part?" he said with a sour tone.

Darwin laughed awkwardly. "Alright" he died his chair reluctantly while occasionally glancing at Shin. She did not know why Shin was angry at her this time. He hasn't even thrown a single mockery! It doesn't make any sense!

'Would the boy hold a grudge now' Darwin thought. He was a little afraid that it would actually happen. He always bullied Shin. But Shin never thought about things in the past and instantly forgot about them. That's why he keeps bothering her because it's so much fun. If Shin started to recall the disturbances that existed in the past, wouldn't he be in danger now?

I was also speechless as Shin started to sit beside me. I don't know why I feel like it's a little cold right now. Is Shin in a bad mood today? But come to think of it, he seemed to be fine before. Honestly, when Shin was angry was very scary. I'm a little scared.

Shin calmed himself down in an instant when Darwin was dead.

"Can you spend it?" he asked again. Ask the same question.

"Eh! What's?" I was shocked, a little surprised. I immediately stopped daydreaming.

"Of course"

"If you can't afford to spend it, I'll help you. It's not good to throw food away" Shin said later.

I'm a little confused. Shin and Darwin said more or less the same statement. Since when do they really like to help people spend on food? I mean eating other people's leftovers.

"I'll spend it" I replied again with confidence. They underestimated me too much. I can eat five bowls of meat if I want, humph!

After taking his share, Darwin returned to his position with the arrival of others.

Even Lista also attended this party with a crush wearing a scepter. I'm a little surprised. Shouldn't he just rest in the room? Even if he wanted meat, we could take the roast to his room.

Lista immediately sat down beside Shin. As if already knowing that, his friends took a position away from Shin even though they came first. Leave that position for List.

"Why did you come? Shouldn't you rest?" Shin asked in a slightly displeased tone.

"I want to come." replied Lista. Her appearance was so pitiful that Shin did not have the heart to speak rudely to her.

Shin surrender. "I will take your share" he said as he stood up.

Lista nodded with a small smile.

I saw all those things while chopping my chin up. It was as if I was seeing a drama in the real world. What other scenarios will happen now? Hm...

As Shin started to leave, the gap between me and Lista was instantly empty. Our eyes also looked.

I don't know what expression I'm using right now. I thought I only blinked a few times without giving any face. But Lista looked at me with eyes full of hatred. For a moment, I was goosebumps. I haven't been looked at that much in my life. And that freaked me out a little.
