Punishment

The place is so dark. There was only a small candle with oil used as illumination. Inside the dark place sat a person, tied up on a chair. If Nana sees him, she'll know him. This man is the culprit who had intended to kill him.

After returning from the island, Shin took her to his interrogation room. Since the man continued to rebel, he made his faint and brought him to this place.

Honestly, Shin's interrogation will be quite cruel. He was not a simple man even though he was young. He has been in business since he was young. He also has many enemies. He has faced murder and kidnapping since childhood. So he's pretty used to all that stuff.

This was one of the reasons Shin did not want Nana to know of his actions. The girl might be shocked and even frightened. He didn't want that to happen. This is no ordinary introductory. This is torture.

The man looked at Shin with a trembling body. He's been conscious for a few hours. He wanted to scream, but Shin stuffed his mouth with a cloth. He was also unable to move as Shin tied him up on the chair.

Shin opened his mouth, and the man cried out in fear. "What are you doing? You want to do something like this to me? I'll call the police and make sure you're in jail for torture!" he yelled. His fear of Shin had already vanished since Shin started making him a prisoner yesterday. He doesn't care anymore.

Shin did not care about the man's chatter. In a sharp tone he asked "Why did you do it? You could be put to death for attempted murder" he changed the subject.

The man glanced to the side, avoiding Shin's gaze. "I don't know what you're talking about? I didn't do anything! If you risk my life, I'll report you to the police!" he turned around threatening Shin.

"Dump" Shin said. He gave instructions to the large-bodied bodyguard beside him.

The man did not understand the intent of Shin's orders, but he started to shout hysterically as the big man approached him. "Don't hurt me, I'm completely innocent! I'll report you to the police!"

The big guard didn't care. He picked up a small tang and squatted under his feet.

"What are you doing?" asked the man almost crying.

"Dump one" Shin ordered again with a cold face.

The big bodyguard suddenly pulled out one of his toenails without any cue. Makes her scream in pain. The sound of screaming echoed in the quiet room.

"So why did you do it?" Shin did not care about the sound of the scream, as if he had gotten used to it.

The man did not answer. He was still screaming in pain while trying to break away from the bond. Her tears started to come out and she even peed in her pants. For a rich and spoiled child, an incident like this left him completely shocked.

If Nana saw all this torture, she would faint on the spot. Nana never knew that Shin had this cruel side. The comic doesn't describe it at all.

"Dump two" Shin said again. The bodyguard prepared to pull out another nail, but the man immediately shouted.

"Wait on! I'll tell you!" he said while crying. "I did push him up the cliff. I really don't expect that bitch to come back alive. Is he a ghost? I really saw her fall down. He should be a corpse!" the man shouted hatefully.

"Why did you do it? Why do you hate him?" Shin tried to calm himself down to not hit the man in front of him and asked calmly.

"Because he's so upsetting! He's like a parasite! He made Lista sick. If it wasn't for that damn girl, this vacation wouldn't be like this!" the answer is shameless. At first she hated Lista for making her endure all this. But after Shin did this to her, she became even more resentful of Nana.

Nana is the source of the problem. If the girl isn't alive, she doesn't have to face any of this. He did not have to face the monster in front of him and had to feel intense pain.

Shin's eyes narrowed. He hated the people in front of him. But he can't do anything. He only hit the man once to vent his anger. The man laughed like crazy when he got a blow from Shin.

"Let's go back" Shin told his bodyguards to return. Shin won't be a vigilante. He's gonna hand over this confession tape to the police. He will make sure that the man is sentenced to life and will never get out of jail.

That night, while I was busy playing games, Shin contacted me.

"I've handled it" the cold voice from behind the phone said.

"Eh? He really confessed?" I blinked in disbelief.

"Yes. He's going to jail"

My face immediately turned very excited. "Thank you Shin. Do you know who told him to?"

Shin explained that all of that was just a personal grudge. My face turned disappointed when I heard his explanation. Not that I don't believe it, but is it true that Lista wasn't involved at all? I don't know the perpetrator anyway and he really hates me that way. It still doesn't make sense.

But yeah, that's it. It could be that Lista was completely uninvolved and I was too prejudiced. The important thing is that his problems are completely resolved now. And I was so happy when I found out that guy was going to jail.

"Thank you so much Shin! You're my hero!" I praise Shin happily.

But I didn't get any response from that compliment. Doesn't he like it?

Tut!

Shin instead suddenly disconnected his phone connection unilaterally. I was shocked when he did. I don't know what he's thinking. But he really is a brat. Good thing he's handsome, so I'll forgive him ~
