If Tomorrow Never Come

If Tomorrow Never Come
Chapters 27. Can't escape anymore

The counter felt different when Galuh went in there the next day. The sweet smile of Ami who today works one shif with her, feels different when welcoming her arrival and greeting her that morning. There is also a beautiful flower arrangement neatly tucked away on the table.

“What's up, Mi. Tumben smile continuously from earlier?” galuh asked in surprise, while putting his small bag on the hanger.

“Nothing, again want to smile ajah!” sahut Ami was accompanied by a small laugh. “Oh yes, almost forgot. There was a delivery of flowers from Ayangnya You earlier. Tuh, I put it on the table.” Ami pointed with her chin.

“Who, Mi. Ayang I?” galuh asked, pointing her index finger at the chest with a frown.

Ami nodded her head assenting. “I was curious about the writing on his card, so I saw. Uh, it was a flower delivery from Ayang Reza.”

“Dih, Ayang Eza who the hell. So curious?” Galuh circled the table and checked the greeting cards tucked between the flower arrangements.

Galuh's cheeks instantly blushed as she read the inscription listed there, and Ami who was standing nearby continued to pay attention as she gave a smile. “It looks like today someone is again in love, use send flowers all.”

“Falling in love with millions of hers, day and night always imagined her face ..” Galuh instead sang, responding to Ami's speech just now. “Hahaha, have ah advanced work.”

“Congratulations yes, say. Already not single anymore,” seductive Ami, who immediately dodged when Galuh's fingers move want to pinch his waist.

Galuh laughed, his mood this morning became more cheerful. Early in the morning he had gotten a bouquet of flowers and a sweet greeting Reza who wrote words of love for him. It is also fun to get the attention of someone who wants us in his life.

Not long after his phone rang, Galuh immediately saw it. There was a short message from Reza waiting for his arrival during the work break in his room.

“Oke.” Galuh replied briefly, Reza's message to him.

Throughout the morning to afternoon that day a lot of visitors who come shopping because it coincides with weekend holidays as well as school holidays. It is certain that it was the toughest day for Galuh, because he was asked to work late into the night to replace Ami who was suddenly called home because of family affairs.

One thing Galuh forgot at that time, he could not predict the number of visitors who came to shop at his counter. His busy work that day, made him have to postpone his lunch time. Galuh even forgot his promise to Reza.

At exactly two in the afternoon, a colleague came to replace Galuh for an hour just for lunch break. Galuh breathed a sigh of relief, after finishing cleaning the customer's order goods, he rushed to his locker to pick up his lunch.

After lunch and carrying out his duties, Galuh used the rest of his break by walking around the mall while looking at the crowd of fashion show events held by one of the famous clothing manufacturers in the country.

While busy watching, suddenly his arm was pulled by someone to come out of the crowd who were standing watching on the edge of the stage. Galuh was surprised not to play, he had to walk quickly because he followed the wide steps of the person who was wearing a hoody jacket as well as a mask that covered his face.

“Please hand me, sick tau!” Galuh hit the hand that was blocking his arm, but the man shook his head and continued to take him to walk through the corridor of the mall and then stopped in front of the director's office door.

Reza opened the hoody covering her head, then removed the mask. He released his handrails on Galuh's arm and wiped away the sweat that flooded his face. “Waiting for it is the most annoying job! Don't make anyone else wait if you can't come on time!”

Galuh chose silence and just being a listener, he did not try to explain. After all, whatever reason he put forward later would still be wrong in the eyes of the man. Although he had completely forgotten and did not intend to intentionally let the man wait for him for long.

“I was restless waiting for you in this room, until I had to miss my lunch. Wish you'd come see me. It doesn't matter if you have to be late five or ten minutes, I understand because maybe you are busy with your work.” Reza exhaled, then turned to Galuh who was just standing still in his place.

“But in reality, you're instead engrossed in watching the race show down there and forgetting your promise, letting someone else wait for you. If it is hard for you to fulfill my invitation, why don't you reject it?”

“Sorry!” finally the words came out of Galuh's mouth.

Reza opened the door of his study, stepped inside without saying a word to Galuh who was still standing waiting outside. Until a few minutes later Galuh still stood waiting, hoping that the man would call him in.

“What should I do now?” Galuh asked himself, not yet anything they both had a disagreement.

It seems that the communication between them has not been well established, Reza still keeps her prestige and refrains from continuing to contact Galuh, the statement said, while Galuh himself had more chuckles than responding to every expression of Reza's love for him.

“Of course you have to continue your work and finish it well, let alone? The man didn't tell you to wait outside his study instead of punishing you. Unless you really want to wait for him here,” whispered a voice from inside his heart.

“All decisions are in your hands, do not need to be complicated. Just relax, live as you are. All the decisions are in the hands of both of you because you are going to have this relationship. If you like him, accept it. If you don't like it, then refuse. Easy right!” speak her other heart.

Galuh still waiting, who knows the man changed his mind and forgave his mistake just now by inviting him to lunch together. Even though he was full, Galuh would still accompany him.

But it did not happen, even though he saw the door of Reza's workspace was wide open. But there was no sound from inside. Could the man be asleep?

Galuh sighed and chose to leave the place and return to his counter. There was only fifteen minutes left, and soon his partner who replaced him would return to duty at his own counter. But before that he'll say goodbye to Reza first.

Galuh walked closer to the doorway, peering into the room with his arms outstretched about to knock on the door. “Master, I pam ... Sir, what happened? Why didn't Master call Me from earlier, and let Me wait and stand for a long time outside.”

Galuh looked at Reza who was lying on the floor, leaning against the wall behind him, walking towards the long sofa in the corner of the room. The man's face looked pale.

“This is all because of you, I almost fainted from hunger waiting for you to have lunch together. You have to take responsibility,” said Reza staring at the face of Galuh who looks worried.

Galuh glanced at his watch, time left ten minutes only. And before Galuh had time to think about overcoming his problem, Reza had already called Susilo and told one of his men to replace Galuh while at his counter.

“Now you can't get away from me anymore,” whispered Reza near Galuh's ear, who was staring at him with their hearts pounding as their bodies were close together.
