Galuh did not think how they could get through this one week without feeling worried and hoping that everything would be okay.
Reza had just been discharged from the hospital after two days in the care, he was so excited and immediately busied himself with all the affairs of their wedding preparations. Although it looks healthy and fresh, but Galuh still afraid that the man was exhausted and fell ill again.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” galuh asked softly, as they were sitting together on a bench in the garden behind Reza's house.
Reza rubbed his lips slowly with the back of his hand, his gaze now turning to stare at the teacup in his hand. The cup of tea was empty, but it was still held.
Galuh frowned, looking at Reza in wonder. The man had turned quiet since his return from the hospital, like something was bothering him but Reza was reluctant to talk. “Abang, what's up?”
Reza simply shook his head while smiling faintly, his fingers moving slowly twirling the empty cup in front of him.
The answer made Galuh even more confused, he got up from his chair and stood staring at Reza long ago. “Alright, if you don't want to talk. I'd better just go back to my house now. Anyway, I have to welcome my family's arrival from the village.”
“Do not!” Reza raised his face quickly. His outstretched hand held Galuh's arm, making the woman speechless in place.
He breathed, then sat back down. “Abang should talk, don't be like this. Makes me wonder about Brother's attitude, what's up?”
“I'm guilty of you. Sorry, it's selfish for making you have to obey all my wishes,” said Reza, slowly lowering her face.
“Mean Brother?”
Reza lifted his face, looking back at Galuh. Recalling the incident during the day when he met and spoke with Dr. Rendra.
Before Reza returned home that afternoon, Rendra's doctor came to see him at the hospital. The man wanted to talk to her about something important.
At that time Reza was alone in his room, he had to obey the wishes of his oman who forced Galuh to accompany him to lunch in the hospital cafe. Suddenly the oma kepingin eat fried goat rice, after seeing the show on television.
Doctor Rendra apologized to him for telling about the disease he had suffered a long time ago to Galuh.
Not to be surprised, the woman actually more determined to marry him. But Reza didn't want Galuh to marry her knowing she was sick, Reza couldn't accept that excuse.
“You've heard what Dr. Rendra said about my illness. I can't possibly force you to do it. You don't have to stay by my side, and continue this marriage. If you want to leave Me and cancel this wedding plan, I'm fine. I can accept your reasons. Me ..”
Good Lord! Galuh stared at the handsome face of the man in front of him. He never thought Reza would think that. He cupped Reza's hand and held her tightly.
“I'm not going anywhere, I'm not going to leave you, Bang. As you wish too, I want us to continue together spending time together.”
“I don't want to see you cry and regret your decision later. I love you too much and I don't want to see you suffer for my selfishness, forcing you into this marriage.” Reply Reza.
“I love you, I want to marry you. Never doubt my sincerity with you. And I'm sure, we'll be able to get through everything together.” Galuh convinced Reza.
Lord, thank You for sending him into my life. I love him and can't lose him. He's the most important part of my life.
"I'm sorry, I love you too much. But I also don't want to see you suffer if you continue with me." Reza doesn't know what else to say, he's too in love and afraid of losing the chance to live with the woman he loves.
Reza hugged Galuh tightly. If there's no tomorrow, I want her to know that I love her so much. Everything I did was to show her that she was the only one.
"I love you." Reza said with haru, and Galuh drowned herself in the warm embrace of the man.
The afternoon sky began to disappear into the night, Reza's mood improving after a heart-to-heart conversation with Galuh. No more grim faces, changing cheerfulness.
After dinner, Reza invites Galuh to choose their wedding reception venue. There are many hotel options complete with luxury decorations, but Galuh only answered with a headband.
"Do you agree if I ask for our event to be held in this house only?"
"You mean, our wedding reception was held in this house only?" reset Reza.
“Sorry, Bang. It's not like you don't appreciate your family here. But this is all the desire of grandmothers and mothers who feel more comfortable when the event is held at home,” Galuh said.
Reza immediately frowned upon hearing the reason Galuh had revealed to him. "Indeed why if the event is at the hotel, is not it more convenient to be there than the event held at home?”
“We ordinary villagers hold big events like this in our own homes. In addition to making it easier for neighbors to come later, also our habit of gathering with the whole family until late at night before the day. If at the hotel it can not be as free as that, Bang.”
Reza was silent for a moment, remembering the words of oma who told them at that time to get married first and hold a reception later.
“There is good too, if the party is held at home. Surely many families will join and join the stay at this house.”
Reza finally wanted to obey the wishes of Galuh and his family, papa and oma did not mind instead they felt very happy.
At the request of the oma, Galuh finally agreed to stay with them in his house. Only a few days before the wedding, Galuh should be in the house because his family will come and stay there.
Without feeling it, the long-awaited time finally came as well. One Sunday has passed, and tomorrow is the wedding day of Galuh and Reza.
That afternoon, Reza was again busy taking care of party trinkets with the appointed WO and never once let Galuh come along to help him.
“The bride-to-be is better off staying indoors, let your future husband manage everything.”
“But I don't want to see Brother's achievement, let me help ya.”
Reza shook his head, and told Galuh to stay in the house. And the woman finally could only obey even with a sullen face. And one friendly kiss Reza on his forehead, finally makes his woman's face blush and back cheerful because tomorrow is their wedding day.
The night grew busy. The boisterous atmosphere also seemed to color the residence of Reza, where the wedding party will be held.
Reza-appointed WO is arranging the living room that will be used as a place for a wedding ceremony, while all families gather in the living room sitting on the floor of the house while enjoying snacks.
Everyone is feeling very happy. Galuh could see her mother looked so happy, from her attitude she looked so loving to Reza and believed that the man would be able to make her daughter happy.
