59. Al-Fatihah

Islam stepped hastily towards Sarifuddin who seemed to be waiting for Islam in the field while holding the broom that he and Islam had used earlier.

"Why?" ask Sarifuddin.

Not answering the question that Sarifuddin gave, Islam immediately pulled Sarifuddin and took him to the second floor while running.

Islam never answered any question given by Sarifuddin.

"Why the hell?" sarifuddin asked after they arrived in the room while staring at Islam who was seen locking the door tightly.

"What's wrong?" sarifuddin asked again, this time his face looked worried.

Islam propped up his waist and walked towards his bed while Sarifuddin was seen following.

"Why?"

Islam watched.

"Gue wants to be fooled" he replied.

"Because?"

"Well I ran away from Abah's room. I said I wanted to go to the toilet but I stuck in the room so I didn't wonder about the matchmaking" he explained.

"Why should I run away? If we're going to take it, "his advice.

Islam glanced at Sarifuddin with a gaze that did not understand him.

"If I want to be fooled, I will not run away continue to meet here the same lo."

"Why not?"

Both eyes of Islam rounded after hearing what Sarifuddin said.

"You mean?" ask the enthusiastic Islam.

"So the imam must memorize the recitation of the Qur'an."

"Gue didn't know najai" protested Islam.

"Can I get a ride?"

Islam was silent for a moment and then he turned his head again when Sarifuddin spoke again.

"We only memorize short surah readings."

"What's the cheap?" ask the confused Islam.

"The Qur'an. For example it is like Surah Al-Ikhlas, An-Nas and many more. But more importantly it's Surah Al-Fatihah."

"Al-Fatiha?"

"Thou?" ask Sarifuddin.

Islam quickly shook his head to make Sarifuddin immediately rise and grab the Qur'an from his closet and put it on a pillow.

"Bismillah" said Sarifuddin when opening the Qur'an.

Islam and Sarifuddin now sit opposite each other while the Qur'an is between them.

"It's Surah Al-Fatihan." It makes Islam nod.

"No ship?"

Islam stopped his nod and then he fell silent thinking of something.

"Repid?" ask Sarifuddin again.

"Sheap, but a little," replied Islam casually making Sarifuddin sigh long.

It is hard to teach Islam.

"Now look!"

"We want to learn more?" ask Islam with its lazy face.

"No. I just want to explain about Surah Al-Fatiha."

"This is Surah Al-Fatihah. Surah Al-Fatihah is the opening letter in the holy book of the Quran, which means opening."

"The letter which consists of 7 verses is classified as Makiyyah, which means that this letter was sent down before Rasulullan emigrated to Medina."

Islam nodded making Sarifuddin look suspiciously. Does Islam nod because it understands or even just nods.

"You are the Messenger, right?" ask Sarifuddin.

"Lo don't think I know who he is? Kiyai's granddaughter," he chatted with a slightly irritated face while hitting his chest.

"Who is the Messenger then?"

Islam poked his lips and leaned his body against the iron pillar of the bed.

Sarifuddin seemed to underestimate him.

"The apostle is Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he is the last of the 25 prophets" Islam explained.

Sarifuddin smiled.

"That's the case," he said unexpectedly.

"Well you know," said Islam with a cynical smile.

Islam is not that stupid about religion, even though it is more stupid.

"Nah now we continue about this Surah Al-Fatihah. This surah is a surah that must be read while performing prayers."

"The legitimate requirement for prayer is to read Surah Al-fatihah."

"If you don't read?"

"Not legitimate."

"Why is that? Same with other suras. The rest comes from the Qur'an?" islamic Protest.

"Indeed, all suras are derived from the Qur'an, but they all have different meanings."

"The illegitimacy of prayer if it is not recited with the Surah of the Qur'an has been explained in the Hadith Muslim History: 'It is not lawful to pray for someone who does not read Al Fatihah'"

"So you have to read the Surah?" ask Islam.

"Majib," he replied making Islam nod.

"Or not if this surah is the first surah in the Qur'an. This Surah is revealed in Makkah so it is classified as surah makiyah and consists of seven verses."

"Do you know the importance and benefits of Surat Al-Fatihah?"

"What?"

"The benefits are many, if we read it before studying then God will launch all good intentions, facilitated to achieve goals, and kept away from obstacles."

Islam nodded as if this time he was back as a teacher.

"The Fatihah itself actually has many other names, among which are Ummul-Kitab, Ummul-Quran, as-Sab'ul Matsani, Asy-Shifa, or Ar-Ruqyah."

Islam gawking. What did this Sarifuddin say?

"Do you know of any greater benefit?" ask Sarifuddin.

"What?" ask Islam who is getting bored.

"This Quran can be used to melt one's heart" whispered Sarifuddin.

The two eyes of Islam were wide-eyed at Sarifuddin after hearing his speech.

"You mean to melt someone's heart like someone likes us?" ask Islam with an enthusiastic face.

"Truly if Allah wills" he answered.

"That means it could melt Khadijah's heart too?" ask Islam.

"Can."

"How?"

"The way is to read Surah Al-fatihah every day for 1 week with solemn after obligatory prayers and sunnah and pray with God by mentioning the name of someone we like."

"Coming successful?"

"Nothing is impossible if Allah wills" replied Sarifuddin.

Islam smiled and nodded. It looks like he should be able to memorize the Surah Al-fatihah and mention the name Khadijah.

Sarifuddin now got up from the bed and stepped into the closet and grabbed a book and pen making Islam wince in wonder.

"Want to learn again?" ask Islam.

"I want to write the mention of this verse with letters so that Islam can read on we poultice, we can not teach," he explained making Islam nod.

Islam now lies his body on Sarifuddin's mattress while staring at Sarifuddin who was busy writing.

"Can't read it while writing! I'm faster to memorize if I'm horrified," said Islam.

Sarifuddin nodded with an enthusiastic smile. He began to write it while reciting it with his truly melodious voice.

Islam even heard Sarifuddin reading like a song that was so melodious.

Why not just register in a dangdut singer search competition? Maybe he escaped.
