Sarifuddin opened the door after performing taraweh prayers. Sarifuddin was silent, he silently stood staring at Islam who was seen sitting on a mattress while hugging his knees.
Well, after the departure of Islam from the Islamic mosque did not return again and taraweh prayer continued by Rahman.
Islam turned to look at Sarifuddin who now moved his hand to close the door of the room tightly.
"Why don't we go back to the mosque?" asked Sarifuddin who stepped closer to Islam who looked silent.
Sarifuddin knelt near Islam and stared at the sad face of Islam while looking up. Islam blinks his lips, for some reason he feels like a woman who is being persuaded by the lover.
"What's wrong?"
"No, I'm just sad."
"Sad why?"
Islam looked down at Sarifuddin who seemed to care deeply about him.
"Udah ah there lo! Amused me," joked Islam while laughing and pushing Sarifuddin's shoulder slowly to get away from him.
Sarifuddin got up and took off his cocktail and exchanged it for a white T-shirt.
"But it was good," said Sarifuddin.
"Oh yeah?"
Sarifuddin turned his head then nodded with a smile.
"True, the way the pronunciation is also good."
"Ah is that right you?"
"True, where have I lied," he answered and sat on the edge of the bed facing Islam whose face was no longer sad.
"I'm sure Khadija must have flown into the high sky just as we call his name."
Islam smiled in shame and then he laid down his body. Imagining this makes it seem as if lying on top of red roses that have been sown on her mattress.
Beautiful this world.
The atmosphere of the darkened room was now quiet and desolate. The lights of the room were turned off from the center.
"Din!"
"Iye" said Sarifuddin who immediately opened his eyes that almost slept.
"That Khadijah heard my voice, didn't you?"
"Well, surely, he may not have heard," he said sure.
Islam smiles knot. I don't know why every thing that was said by Sarifuddin always managed to make him feel calm. In addition to Sarifuddin who has a lot of knowledge it turns out Sarifuddin is a good listener and advisor.
"Din, you're not interested in finding a companion?"
"For what?"
Islam frowned confused, what does this guy mean?
"Will not marry?" ask Islam.
"I don't think about it, if I have a soul mate then God will bring me together with him in various ways."
"But I don't take it too much because we all don't know whether we'll be met with a soul mate or death."
"Stupidity and death are both coming."
"If you want to get a mate then just apply for a girl but if you don't want then just wait to be met somewhere or even betrothed but it's all with God's permission."
"If God does not want it, it will not happen. For example, we may choose a girl to be a wife through courtship, but since God disagrees, God will give us trouble and make us part."
"There are those who decide to be betrothed to each other but because God does not agree then God could have touched the heart of one of them to not want to mate."
"Even if the wedding invitation has been spread, the marriage can be canceled and it's all because of God."
"As with death, wanting a plan to die now or later is possible but God decides."
"Many people who are seriously ill even to the point of being critical but because God has not taken it away will not kill the person."
"Only God knows when we die - even a healthy person can die without any pain, it's all because of God's will."
Islam is now silent in its place of lying down. It is regrettable to ask this to Sarifuddin. Talking about death makes Islam unable to sleep.
"I used to be afraid to die but now I'm not."
"Why can I like that?"
"Because I can meet my father" he replied.
Islam is silent again. Stupid you Islam asked like that! Sarifuddin who discussed about the Father brought the figure of Akbar to the mind of Islam.
What if Akbar dies first, it means he will not see his Abi figure again.
...***...
Islam ran up the hill and smiled happily to find Khadijah sitting on the bench at the same time as usual.
Honestly, since then Islam was looking for the figure of Khadijah in the kitchen but did not meet and that brought Islam decided to go to the hill.
"Assalamu'alaikum," Islam said made Khadijah shocked.
Khadijah turned his head to look at Islam who was already sitting on the bench, a place that has always been occupied by Islam.
"Waalaukumsalam," replied Khadijah then lowered his head.
Islam smiled and fell down. Islam does not want Khadijah to see his face that continues to smile like a madman.
Meeting with Khadijah was a longing renunciation between Islam and the Rose, Uminya. For Islam, the figure of Khadijah is very depicting the figure of a good and meek Rose.
"Are you happy today?" ask Islam.
Khadijah. Honestly, Khadija wanted to say 'Yes' but she was ashamed.
"But it seems that the sense of happiness in the afternoon will not be able to replace the sense of happiness in the evening."
"Why is that?" ask Khadijah.
"Because I say your name" answered Islam and then bit his lower lip trying not to shout and laugh so happy.
Khadijah was heard laughing, making Islam laugh while scratching his head that does not itch. The sound of laughter made Islam wrong.
Come on, Islam! This is not Islam as usual which is even so misbehaved just because the sound of laughter of the girl who even looked at her lips never.
"Do you like it?" islam asked, the sound of laughter stopped.
"Yes" he answered doubtfully.
"Yes?"
Khadijah.
"Akhi Islam was the first to do this, calling the name Khadijah."
"That means you like me too?"
Hearing the question made Khadijah rise from the bench while Islam immediately looked up. Damnit damnit! Did he speak wrong?
"Sorry, Aki Islam. It's not good to be alone like this" he said, then set his feet to go to give distance between him and Islam.
Islam turned to look at Khadijah making Islam immediately rise from the bench.
"Why is it so hard to seduce your heart, Khadija?" ask Islam.
Khadijah's move stopped.
"Why is that hard?" ask Islam again.
Khadijah took a deep breath and exhaled slowly and then he turned to look at Islam who seemed silent waiting for him to talk.
"The seduction of the heart of God before you seduce the heart of His servant because if you succeed in seducing the heart of God it will be easily seduced by the seducing one."
"Surely only God can turn hearts."
Khadijah turned back and continued in his footsteps.
"How can I seduce the heart of God?"
Khadijah's move stopped.
"Tonight is a strange night and it is possible that tonight is the night of lailatul qadar. May Allah be at that time, let Allah seduce Khadijah's heart."
Khadijah continued his move to leave Islam which could only be silent.
