Umma Nur and Khadijah were silent at the gate of the hut waiting for Islam. Well they are waiting for Islam which is always coming to the market every day.
"Maybe we go first Umma, let aki Islam follow."
"Wait, that's Islam!
Khadija turned to look at Islam who now smiled at Umma Nur and today without looking at Khadijah.
"Assalamualaikum, Umma," he said, staring at Umma Nur and then he stepped away without saying anything to Khadijah.
Khadijah was silent with a flat face. Usually Islam always greet him and this morning also does not happen. Just like yesterday.
During the journey there are no words that are spoken by Islam even Umma Nur also occasionally turned to look at Islam and Khadijah in turn. Just this time the atmosphere of the market trip was very quiet.
Marketplaces
Islam is still standing some distance away from Khadijah who was seen from earlier busy buying some cooking ingredients to break the fast later.
Islam does not want to be like this. His lips seemed to be unable to bear to have to speak and even to greet Khadijah but that was impossible.
Islam realized that he was far from a hope to be with Khadijah. What else did he expect from Khadijah? There aren't.
"Islam!!!"
Both eyes of Islam rounded staring in shock at Katrin who was now standing before him.
"What's going on here?"
"Shop."
"Who's the guy?"
"alone. Oh yeah you didn't tell me anyway if you were in the market."
"Well, for what do you know," replied Islam with a lazy tone.
"Keep staying here?"
"Gue again"
"Eh Khadija!"
Katrin approached Khadijah making Islam silent for a while. They know each other? Islam blinks his lips.
You stupid Islam!
They had been friends since childhood, so naturally they knew each other. Katrin pulled Khadijah's wrist and brought him before Islam.
"Islam! This is Khadijah, my best friend."
Islam nodded with a smile.
"Khadija, this is Islam and now my friend and he said he would open his heart to me. I don't know why people suddenly change when they hate me."
"But I'm sure, anyway. Maybe he was hurt again so he tried to open his heart to me," he explained.
Khadija and Islam can only be silent stiff makes Katrin frown in wonder.
"Islam, let's meet!"
"Afwan Katrin but actually we-"
"Gue Islam," cut off the Islam that extended its hand towards Khadijah intending to tell Katrin if they knew each other.
Khadijah looked puzzledly at Islam who introduced his name.
"What's your name?"
Khadijah was silent with both eyes staring sadly at the attitude of Islam. Khadijah bowed, he just remembered that Islam had said to forget the figure of Islam and considered them not to know each other.
"Aren't you looking for a shaman?"
Katrin laughed and then hit the hand of Islam.
"Islam, Khadijah cannot be touched the same that is not the mahromnya."
"Oh, sorry. I don't know," he said lying when he knew all about Khadija.
Islam now goes hand in hand with these two hijab girls who distinguish only one wearing a veil and one without a veil.
Islam looked to the left and right, Khadija and Katrin, who walked together. Their height is almost the same only that what sets them apart is their way of walking.
Khadija looks peaceful when walking, she looks graceful while Katrin looks off. His hands pointed in all directions staring at every trade the merchants were selling without ever stopping to speak.
Both eyes of Islam rounded staring at a wagon that would pass in front of Katrin and Khadijah who speed because it was pushed too hastily by one of the pedangan.
Islam looked at Katrin and Khadijah in turn. The groceries in his left hand could not be separated to help both.
Islam can only attract one person, but who?
The wagon was getting closer and the two of them were unaware of it.
"Used!" shout Islam.
Islam pulled Khadijah's wrist, which made Khadija step back quickly.
Bruaks
Katrin crumpled to the ground after being hit by a vegetable cart. The loud voice managed to make everyone turn their heads to look at Katrin.
Her skirt and clothes looked dirty from the ground when Katrin fell. Katrin grimaced with pain in her waist after being grabbed by the wooden cart.
Katrin looked up at Islam who looked at Khadija with a worried look.
"You're okay, right?" ask Islam with a worried face.
Khadijah shook his head and rubbed his wrists which had been held by Islam.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."
Katrin was silent. Why Islam prefers to help Khadijah rather than him. Especially now that Katrin was still sitting on the ground and feeling pain.
Katrin could see a worried face on Islam as she stared at Khadija. That look he never saw in the eyes of a Muslim when he looked at him.
What makes Katrin feel strange is when Islam speaks in a more polite sentence like me and you.
Meanwhile, if you speak to him Islam uses the word lo and I. What does all this mean?
Islam looked at Katrin who looked at him. He was still on the ground making Islam quickly run to help Katrin to stand. Khadija ran to help Katrin but Katrin quickly threw Khadija's hand.
Khadija looked confused. His intentions were good to help but Katrin looked at him sharply.
Katrin grimaced with pain in her waist that felt really painful. All the buyers and the handles looked seriously at them as if this was a free spectacle.
"Katrin why?"
"Battered by the wagon, Umma," Islam answered when Umma arrived.
"Astagfirullah, I've brought him home!"
Islam nodded then immediately held onto Katrin's shoulder and helped her to walk.
"Let's help," bargained Khadija who intends to touch Katrin.
"No need to touch me!"
Khadija was instantly speechless with his hands quickly grasping a breeze. He looked sadly at Islam and Katrin who was now walking away.
