Chapter.160 Trying to Receive

This morning Ivona was still in Ryder's mansion. Aldrich had given his freedom, so he could go out onto the balcony and breathe the fresh morning air in the man's luxurious mansion. Ivona stared at the green grass below only, which looked wet with dew. He looked up, closed his eyes and inhaled deep oxygen to fill his parrot cavity. His mind went back to this morning.

"Give me a month and I'll make you love me" he said.

Ivona looked down on Aldrich. "Don't talk love, anyway how are you gonna make me fall in love in a month's time?"

"Love can just be present, for no reason, without a cue even without a prior encounter. And I'll prove it."

Aldrich grabs Ivona's shoulder and takes her to face him. "If we were created to be together in every life, you would not be able to escape fate. We don't have feelings for each other yet, but I'm sure there's a fate rope that ties us together."

"Mommy," the boy shouted. She hugged Ivona.

"Are you ok?"

Ivona smiled as she nodded. This boy is probably one of the reasons Ivona tried to accept Aldrich. Evan makes Ivona's heart bound to reality and the imaginary world.

"We had breakfast together?" Evan immediately pulls Ivona and takes her sitting near Aldrich opposite Helena. The boy sat next to Ivona.

"Eat." Evan takes a loaf of bread to Ivona.

"Thank you" Ivona said with a smile.

Helena continued to watch Ivona who was right in front of her. "I'm glad you're willing to give Aldrich a chance. I'm pretty sure you were created to be together" Helena said.

Ivona is confused as to what to react to, but he tries to turn his eyes on Aldrich. The first time he saw Aldrich's lips curl into a smile. Very sweet. Just like Alexander.

Ivona immediately saw what he was holding. Sure enough he did not take the chocolate jam he wanted but the sweet soy sauce available there.
