Chapter.60 Gifts For Grandpa

"Here you go, Pa, don't make this big deal. After all Grandpa and Brother Thomas were right, Ivona was the real daughter of the Iswara family and nothing could change that" Vaya said to stop the debate between Thomas and Mr. Iswara.

Vaya is really great at acting and controlling emotions. No one could see that right now in his heart was burning with the flames of anger ready to burn anyone with his words, but no, Vaya chose to bury deep in the flames of anger, instead, and if the time comes he will scorch all with the flames of anger that he craves.

Lady Iswara and Mr. Iswara looked at Vaya with pity, how much Vaya was hearted in addressing all this. "Darling, you're such an amazing princess." Lady Iswara rubbed gently on Vaya's arm.

"All thanks to guidance, Mama and Papa." Vaya looked at Mr and Mrs Iswara in turn with a sincere-looking smile.

Lady Iswara could not bear to not reach Vaya in her arms and kiss the head of her proud daughter. "Thank you, honey. You have brought peace to this family" said Mrs Iswara, who can be heard by all who are there.

Thomas stares at Vaya's attitude, the girl making him fed up with her acting. While Ivona could only roll her eyeballs lazily, she was already tired of seeing Vaya's pretenses.

Vaya broke away from Mrs Iswara's embrace, she stared at the gift box she had been holding. "Grandfather, I have something for you" said Vaya, holding out her gift.

It seems that Great Lord Iswara deliberately ignored Vaya. At the same time, Lord Iswara said, "Okay Ivona, let's eat. You must be hungry not after a whole day of activity."

Back, Vaya had to add to his patient stock. He must not lose control of himself when facing this old man. Vaya could only swallow his disappointment at not being considered by the Great Lord Iswara. Even so, he could still smile, look at Ivona who nodded in agreement with Grandfather's invitation, and see Great Lord Iswara pulling Ivona towards the dining room.

Not only that, his heart grew rebellious to avenge everything, as Grandpa asked Ivona to sit next to the main seat.

"Sit here" he told Ivona.

"Thank you, Mother" replied Ivona smiling.

Seeing this, Vaya's gaze was instantly filled with envy and anger. Because the chair Ivona currently occupies is a chair for Grand Lord Iswara's favorite grandson. In the past, when he became the most beloved in the Iswara family, he did not even get a chance to sit in that chair. But now he had to see Ivona sitting there, and that was at Grandpa's own request.

"You have to eat a lot of Ivona, to keep you healthy. Isn't your activity at the school now very crowded?" said Grandpa.

"Yes, Cake."

Ivona and the others waited for the waiter to serve their dinner. Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Vaya once again tried to give grandfather a gift.

"Sir, this is a gift for Grandpa" said Vaya carefully, afraid that it would make the Great Lord Iswara angry again.

"I myself have chosen this gift for Grandpa, may Grandpa gladly accept it" continued Vaya, still with the same cautious tone.

Grandpa looked back at Vaya. Actually Grandpa realized that Vaya was a filial and kind child. However, because Mr and Mrs Iswara showed more affection for Vaya, and ignored Ivona, making Lord Iswara angry.

Seeing the smile of happiness on her father-in-law's face, made Lady Iswara again feel the upper hand. "Did you like it?" ask Lady Iswara.

"I'm sure Vaya's taste is never wrong when it comes to Dad's favorite silver ornaments. Vaya himself chose him for Father" he added to attract the attention of Grand Lord Iswara.

Yes ... this time, it must be admitted if the choice of Vaya to gift Grand Lord Iswara is very appropriate. The Great Lord Iswara would not be able to refuse his favorite silver ornament gift.

"Vaya has shown her service as a grandchild by giving gifts that Dad likes, then what gifts did Ivona buy for Dad?" madam Iswara asked intentionally, because she knew that when she arrived, Ivona had brought nothing.

"After all, Ivona is Dad's favorite granddaughter for sure she knows very well what Dad likes and wants" Iswara said.

The Great Lord Iswara immediately turned to look at Ivona.

"I'm sorry, Grandpa. I didn't buy anything to welcome Grandpa" Ivona said regretfully.

Seeing Ivona's sad expression, Thomas seemed unable to remain silent. "How can Ivona buy a gift for Grandpa, what else if the gift is worth the silver ornaments that Vaya ordered from abroad. Of course Ivona won't be able to" Thomas said of Mrs Iswara.

The Great Lord Iswara immediately looked at Thomas, not understanding the meaning implied in Thomas' sarcastic sentence.

"Yes, Grandpa ... Ivona's pocket money is not as big as the pocket money given to Vaya, therefore Ivona can not buy gifts for Grandpa, especially if you have to buy Grandpa's favorite silver ornaments. Ivona won't be able to. But it wasn't Ivona's fault, who didn't want to prepare a gift for Grandpa. I'm sure, actually Ivona also wants to make Grandpa happy by giving Grandpa a gift, but what if the Madam of this family does not give him enough pocket money" explained Thomas.

Great Lord Iswara was quite surprised by what Thomas said. His gaze was immediately fixed on Ivona who preferred to bow down. "Is that true, Ivona?"

"Of course it's true, Cake. I wouldn't dare speak lies to Grandpa" Thomas said on behalf of Ivona.

"Is that true?" Grandpa's gaze turned to Lady Iswara.

Madam Iswara did not dare to open her voice, she looked down in fear of her father-in-law's enraged questions and gazes.

"Is that true. Everything Thomas said was true, answer!" The Great Lord Iswara stomped the table with his hands. He was again angry to hear the attitude of his son-in-law who had not changed, still being unfair to Ivona.
