IVONA: 1World 2Names
Chapters. 59 Blood of the Iswara Family

"Good night" said Ivona.

All eyes stared at the entrance where Ivona was standing. Ivona noticed the dislike of her family, but it did not stop her from stepping in. His goal of coming to this grand residence was only for his grandfather and he did not care about people who did not like him.

Out of all the eyes that looked hatefully at him, there was Grandpa who looked happy with his arrival. The old man immediately greeted Ivona warmly. "Welcome, Ivona," said the grandfather to Ivona's greeting.

Ivona hugged her grandfather. "How are you, Grandpa. Is it better?"

"You can see for yourself the state of your grandfather, I'm still struggling to stay healthy to see you get married" he said.

Thomas, Grandpa, and Ivona laughed with the pranks Grandpa had made. Not to Madam and Mr. Iswara, nor to Vaya, they were visibly annoyed by Grandpa's attitude towards Ivona. Especially Vaya, the old man showed a much different attitude in treating himself and Ivona. This made Vaya feel hurt.

"Of course, Cake. Grandfather should remain excited to be able to drive me to the altar later," Ivona replied with a similar joke.

Thomas even laughed at Ivona's interaction with his grandfather.

"For all that, Grandpa should stay healthy. Grandpa had to follow the doctor's word to do medicine for Grandpa's recovery" Thomas said.

Grandpa breathed a heavy sigh. "If I can be honest, I don't really want any more treatment. All the treatment tortured me. Very bitter drug, painful chemotherapy. I just wanted to give up" said Grandpa, who made Ivona and Thomas sad.

In his old age, Grandpa had to fight against his illness. Taking medication regularly and injections that are so painful for his old body.

"Grandfather should not say that, grandfather should be eager to stay healthy. Don't you want to hold Ivona's great-granddaughter?" thomas said, trying to cheer Grandpa up.

Spontaneous Ivona swerved towards Thomas. What does this brother mean, he is even a schoolboy and not worth talking about marriage. Thomas is talking about children.

"Why, you don't have to be ashamed. You've grown up now, I'm sure there will be a lot of young men who like you and scramble to be your lover. And when that time comes, it's certain that soon you'll get married and give Grandpa a great-granddaughter. Isn't that right, Cake?" thomas asked for support from his grandfather.

The Great Lord Iswara laughed in response to Thomas' words, while Ivona poked her lips at the elder brother. The long-lost laughter from Grandfather, now can be seen again by all family members.

Grandfather laughed and coughed, and that made Thomas and Ivona worry for a moment.

"Grandfather, it's okay, right?" thomas and Ivona. Thomas who was still standing next to his grandfather directly rubbed Grandpa's back to relieve Grandpa's cough.

"It's okay, it's okay" Grand Lord Iswara gestured Thomas' hand to stop rubbing his back.

"You see Ivona, I've been very weak. I don't know if I can see you married or not. But one thing you should know," said Grandfather paused his sentence.

"As long as I can breathe, I'll keep trying to take care of you." Lord Iswara rubbed Ivona's arm.

Lady Iswara and Vaya are increasingly taken aback by the recognition of Lord Iswara. How could her father-in-law say such a favoritism before Ivona and Vaya.

"Father, it's not only Ivona that you have to take care of, Vaya is also, who is the father's grandson" said Mrs Iswara. Honestly, the words of his father-in-law made him uncomfortable, especially on Vaya who felt excluded by his grandfather.

The displeased Lord Iswara looked back intently at his daughter-in-law.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I just want you to be fair to Vaya and Ivona. After all Vaya never disappoints Dad, it is not Vaya's fault that he does not have Iswara's family blood. But since our baby took care of him with affection," said Mrs Iswara trying to remind her father-in-law if she had loved Vaya very much in the past.

"And also, Vaya has been very proud of this family with its various achievements. No one does not praise Vaya for her talent" Mrs Iswara added.

"While Ivona, she still has a lot to learn from Vaya to control her unstable emotions so as not to continuously make trouble later on." Lady Iswara smiled at Vaya, revealing that her mother would always be there for Vaya.

"You're right, Ivona still has a lot to learn from Vaya ...."

Lady Iswara was delighted to hear the unfinished words of her father-in-law. Finally, the father-in-law agreed with his thoughts this time.

"Because after all, it was Ivon who had the bloodline of the Iswara family. He will bear the name Iswara behind his name, not Vaya."

Lady Iswara and Vaya rounded her eyes, looking in wonder at Lord Iswara who was still defending Ivona.

"Grandfather was right, however Ivona behaved, she was the real Young Miss Iswara. We must continue to support Ivona to improve in order to show everyone that she is the only daughter of the Iswara family" Thomas said, which made Lady Iswara and Vaya turn to look at the young man with dislike.

"Thomas, what do you mean? Vaya's your sister too!" sentak Madame Iswara.

Thomas laughed a little. "That was, Ma, before I knew who my real sister was. Now to me, my sister is just Ivona. Wasn't that so, I only had a little sister whom Mama gave birth to" replied Thomas.

"Thomas, watch your talk!" sentak Mr. Iswara. "You can't be rude like that!" continued.

Mr. Iswara does not deny what Thomas said, because it is true, only Ivona was the only daughter born to his wife. However, he also does not want to hurt Vaya who is currently not getting support from anyone other than himself and his wife.

Ever since Ivona came back into their lives, Vaya has been forgotten. The attitude of Lord Iswara changed completely, he became more siding and loving Ivona. Thomas is showing the same attitude. No longer loving Vaya as he once was, the Iswara family's third son looks to protect Ivona.

In the debates that took place between the members of the Iswara family, they forgot Vaya who was the object of conversation. From then on, Vaya could only clench her hands, holding all her anger there. Vaya is struggling to control herself so as not to spill all her frustration over Grandpa and Thomas' treatment. The girl did not want to show her bad side to all the family members who would harm herself.
