IVONA: 1World 2Names
Chapters. 161 Learning to Accept Destiny

Ivona did not want to tell Aldrich the truth about the man who reminded him of Alexander. He preferred to be indifferent to Aldrich's question, and threw his gaze out the window.

Fortunately Aldrich is not the type of detective man who will follow up his questions to find the answers he wants. Aldrich himself no longer bother about the original question he posted.

"Stop here, please" Ivona asked as she was about to get to the front of the office.

"Why?" Despite asking Aldrich still stopped the pace of his car.

"I don't want us to be seen together."

"Why?" aldrich's forehead is wrinkled.

"I go first, it's not good to see our employees walk together," said Ivona who went down first without wanting to reply further.

Actually Aldrich does not mind if anyone knows about Ivona and himself, but in honor of the peace Aldrich follow his future wife's will. After making sure Ivona entered the office building that he had acquired, Aldrich just headed to the basement parking lot specifically for him.

Ivona breezed into the office building. Reply occasionally to a greeting from the employee.

"Miss," cried Ren.

Ivona turned around and saw her secretary walking towards her.

"Miss is okay?" Ren looked at Ivona from top to bottom.

"Yes, why?"

"Did Mr Aldrich do anything to Miss?"

Ivona looked right and left, many of her employees walking through her. "You know that I'm with Aldrich?" ivona asked in a soft voice.

Ren nodded.

"Where from?"

"Yesterday I came to Mr. Howard's house, the great sir said you were at Mr. Ryder's residence."

"My dad knew?"

Ren nodded back.

"The man told me he took me to his house and my father didn't pick me up. Was my father also so weak to an Aldrich Ryder. It seems that my life has been like the life of a businessman's son in general, who must marry because of an alliance marriage or as a debt-redeeming girl of his father," Ivona said in his heart.

"Miss, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Let's go upstairs" Ivona tried to shake off what she had just thought.

They walked to the elevator to go up to the room they were in.

"It's all because of that Whesly Young Master, if only it wasn't for him trapping the Great Lord, Miss would definitely not have to follow Master Rayder's wishes."

Ivona turned, remembering Whesley's name. Come to think of it Ren is right. If it wasn't for Whesley, her father wouldn't have gone bankrupt and Ivona wouldn't have had to struggle to find investors to keep her company afloat. He also does not need to have an accident and get into the world of novels, or even stranger now is that he does not need to obey Aldrich Ryder's desire to marry the prian on the grounds as a form of return because the man made the company of the father can still survive.

Ivona sighed remembering all that. Maybe he should accept his fate, including accepting Aldrich Ryder. If his fate does tie him to an Aldrich Ryder, he will not be able to escape. Why regret it if this is the path of destiny. He just needs to run and enjoy all the written plot even though sometimes many stories that he honestly does not want in his life story.

"Yes" replied Ivona briefly. Ivona immediately walked into her room and Ren immediately occupied her seat right in front of Ivona's room.

Ivona tries to live her day without thinking about her complicated destiny. He must also pretend that there is no relationship with the new owner of the company in front of other employees. If Ren, without being told, the girl would already know. Probably knows better than Ivona himself.

Ivona deliberately chose late office hours from the others. He did not want anyone to see him go home with Aldrich, so they had agreed to go home when all the people had gone home.

Like a thief, despite deciding to go home in the quiet hours Ivona remains vigilant. He is not ready if what he is trying to live with Aldrich sniffed a stranger, but he promises if later he is sure he will no longer hesitate to open his status to the whole world.

"Why is it so long?" aldrich asked when Ivona had just gotten into the car.

"I have to make sure that no one sees us together" Ivona said, putting her seatbelt on.

"What do you think this is an office? a lot of CCTV is installed in this building, the officers can see us together" Aldrich reminded.

"That I arranged, they wouldn't dare gossip outside about what they saw." Ivona smiled proudly.

Aldrich can only shake his head. He immediately drove his car to Howard's residence.

"To my house?" ivona asked as she realized the path she was walking.

"You'll have to say goodbye to your father if you're gonna start living with me."

"Don't my father know?"

"But I'd better talk to you in person."

It didn't take long for Felix Howard's house. Ivona went down first and ignored Aldrich. Upon arriving at the door, Ivona returned again and approached the man.

"Sorry, I'm too happy to be back in this house again. You know, don't you? Come inside!" bring Ivona.

Ivona pressed the doorbell, and a servant opened it. "Miss," said the waiter.

"Aunt Mia, where's Dad?"

"Sir, it's in his room, Miss."

Ivona again invites Aldrich, and leads him to wait in the family room only. "You just wait here."

Without waiting for an answer from Aldrich, Ivona went straight to her father's room. There, Felix was asleep leaning against the headboard bed with a book on his lap. His eyes were closed with round glasses with brown frames.

Ivona approached cautiously, He took a bench and sat down right next to his sleeping father. He took the book in his father's hand and placed it on a small table beside the bed. He took Felix's old hand and kissed him longingly. The thing that made Felix immediately open his eyes.

"Iv ..," said Felix when he saw his daughter's face.

Not the smile that the old man displayed, but rather the sad look that he offered to welcome his daughter. Makes Ivona a little afraid too because he had not seen the sad look again for a long time. It has been a long time since his mother died and since his father declared that he had been deceived and ran out of everything.

"I'm sorry, Iv," said Felix.

"I'm sorry for your helpless father." Felix's eyes were teary. Makes Ivona wonder.

"For what, Dad?"
