Chapter.41 His Law

Beny stared at Ivona's departure with Masygul, the first girl in his life to have already rejected him. It wasn't Ivona who was wrong, it was her. Beny felt himself so weak that Ivona did not want to approach him.

"Sit down, Ivona," said the principal.

In honor of the headmaster, Ivona took a seat opposite Joshua and the middle-aged man.

"Ivona, this is Mr. Jonathan, he is the father of Joshua, and Mr. Jonathan, this is Ivona," he said. Patrick.

"Don't mince too much, I don't have time for that!" jonathan said with his arrogance.

Mr. Patrick and Mr.Albert were banished dumbfounded by the attitude of this director. Not only the headmaster and homeroom teacher, Ivona was just as shocked as this middle-aged man said loudly before the headmaster as well as his teacher. Who exactly is this guy?

"Ivona, we're getting reports that today you have Joshua Jonathan, is that so?" ask Mr.Patrick.

The headmaster and Mr. Patrick were surprised to see a torn wound on Joshua's knee, they both compactly glanced at Ivona. This girl really did it. "I told you, you don't have to ask this crazy girl anymore. Isn't there proof that my son's leg was hurt because of this crazy girl!" Jonathan interrupted the Headmaster's conversation. Ivona hasn't even opened her mouth yet, but Jonathan can't wait to interrupt and corner Ivona.

Until this moment, Ivona was still silent and patient. He let Jonathan satisfy his arrogance.

"Calm down, Mr. Jonathan, we must judge from two sides to get justice. We must not be rash in deciding something that we can regret later," said Mr. Albert calming.

"Both sides of what you mean, obviously my son is a victim here, and justice is only for my son" Jonathan replied still in his high tone.

The headmaster sighed deeply, thinking of finding a way to appease the director Jonathan who had power. Because he was sure he would not let go of Ivona just like that, but he also could not arbitrarily punish Ivona without clear evidence and facts. After all, he was a schoolmaster who should be able to be fair and wise to all the citizens of the school he led.
