La Luna (Bias Asa)
Chapter 2

"Papa's still waiting?" said Luna mince words when she saw no activity from plates and spoons at the dinner table.

His father and brother were there. I don't know when the man ten years older than him was next to his father.

And Aglen's gaze was still the same. Cynical and not friendly at all. Even every meal together whether morning, noon or night Luna must always strengthen herself to face it.

Luna looked down deeply, until her eyes got wet again. Even though they had been home for a year, but the man he called his brother, still did not care about him.

Ellard smiled welcoming her daughter who had just entered the dining room, and certainly not with Aglen. Big brother Luna was different the mother just changed her cynical gaze to flat in front of the father. Not friendly but not upset either. Confusing.

"The girl took a long bath. Until you smell your soap from Papa's." Ellard got up from her seat, approached Luna who stood looking down because she felt awkward and excluded.

"No, Papa just sit down. Sorry to keep Papa and Brother waiting for so long." Luna who felt bad dispelled the embrace of the father. He took the middle-aged man back to his seat.

Ellard just this past year Luna knew, if the charismatic man this man talked about a lot was his father. Biological father. It is fitting that he does not look like his mother nor Keiko's mother.

Even the girl once cried in front of Keiko's mother when she was in Junior High, because her school friends made fun of her. They say, Luna is actually Keiko's unacknowledged mama's son. Luna is not ashamed at school. But Keiko's mother insists that Luna is not her son. Until finally instead of telling what his father was like, Keiko's mother even removed Luna from her school and she got a home schooling until graduating high school.

"Eat, Lun. Don't daydream," said Ellard as Luna kept her spoon and stared at the plate in front of her.

"Emmm... Yes, Pa." Luna answered nervously and was forced to scoop out some mouthfuls of food that was completely unattractive to her. Even his stomach could not accept the food at all. Without feeling it, Luna just swallowed what was in her mouth.

"How's your business going with Stefan, Ag?"

"Lumayan, Dad. Stefan is in this business. It's not wrong to ask her to cooperate." Aglen who had been silent showed a small smile when asked about his work.

In Aglen's life, there is nothing interesting besides the father's business that he is also in. Handsome guy who's not married is a workaholic.

"Pa, Luna is full. Luna go upstairs first." Suddenly Luna cut off the conversation of the father and son.

"Whoof? You haven't even spent a quarter yet, honey?" Ellard stared in wonder at his daughter. All this time, Luna has never been like this. Although Ellard knew the two children did not get along. But they also never fought.

"Leave it, Pa. Maybe he's not eating. Let's just keep talking about work, it's much more important."

Ellard stared at Luna's departure, feeling a little strange about her daughter.

"Aren't you going to college, honey?" ellard asked before Luna disappeared behind the stairs.

"It's a holiday today, Pa. Because there was a celebration .. yesterday." Suddenly his chest pains remembered him. Luna went up to the second floor in a hurry. He was afraid to imagine his fate if his father knew what had happened.

"Hmmm...."

"You're not awake yet? Jesus Stefan! What time is it? I don't have much time to wait for you" Aglen shouted through his cell phone at his cousin, Stefan.

"Are you having PMS? Shouting obscurely like that at me." Stefan's answer made Aglen more blood-soaked.

Stefan is a hardworking figure who deserves to be counted in the business world that is grappled with Aglen and his father, Ellard. His brilliant ideas and cold hands have succeeded many projects belonging to his uncle.

"You're threatening me?"

"For what? Threatened a hundred times not to work if it's you, "sniffened Aglen.

"Half hour. I'm definitely coming!" stefan shouted out from his sleep.

"Half hour? Why not ten minutes, I'm tired of it here" said Aglen loudly.

"You think I'm a magician? Just wait, don't protest too much!"

Stefan grabbed the towel. Wait, it looks like something is left behind. The lady's bag is on the couch. It must be hers. But it's impossible to return it.

Stefan goes to the bathroom. In front of the mirror the man smiled to himself imagining the events of last night. He regrets his actions. But he was very happy to be first. Even the bite marks on some parts of his body look reddened. It seems that the girl did not knowingly do so.

Luna was home all day. I don't want to go anywhere or do anything. Although he skipped college and reasoned to take a day off at the father, but what about tomorrow. What reason should he make again?

His heart was broken, very. His brain thought fast, wanting to solve this problem. But not a single solution came through there.

The only solution was to get married, because the man had desecrated her. But he himself hates the man, and will not be his wife. Or should he face it alone?

Luna swallowed her saliva many times. The glass of drink the waiter had provided had not been touched at all. Though his throat was very dry since earlier, due to the harshness of the brain thinking.

Every time he remembered the incident last night, his eyes were hot and then the clear circles fell without his control.

Recalling? He didn't even notice it last night. What he remembered from the curse man's actions. All he felt was pain from the aftermath this morning, because for him this was his first time.

Luna was like a dazed person. Later in the afternoon when the father came home, he had to cover his sadness again with cheerfulness. Like this morning at breakfast, do so that the people of the house assume there is nothing to worry about.

Should he pretend to be strong? In this house, only the father is closest to him. If he was to tell a story with Keiko's mother, it would have been a violent solution.

The woman who raised him never thought long if anyone hurt Luna. Evil it retaliates evil. Well it's a good reply.

Mama Keiko, suddenly she misses the woman. The savior of his life after his mother was gone, even in the name of friendship and return.
