La Luna (Bias Asa)

La Luna (Bias Asa)
Chapter 97

"Papa?"

Andrew nodded. "He's sick too, ma'am."

"You are like lovebirds" said Christina fiercely.

"Auntie, we're in a bind." Luna smiled slightly looking at her envious aunt. "Like Aunt and Stefan."

Christina's face suddenly clouded, and Luna realized that. But he always got no answer to the initial reaction shown by the aunt.

"Yes, Honey. That's right." Christina showed her forced smile. His eyes glazed, then the middle-aged woman came out with the excuse of seeing a doctor.

"And, sit. You stood up earlier." Luna tried to melt the suddenly frozen atmosphere. Because Andrew is silent at this moment.

"I'm just here. Can I?" Andrew said it was okay to ask permission to call himself me and not me anymore.

"of course. And don't call me madam again. Just call me a name." Luna asked her lawyer the same thing.

"Not for that. I'll still call you madam." Andrew could not sign Luna with just her name. Because he limited himself to that. He remains professional with his work.

"You cheated!" luna was upset.

Andrew laughing. The man's shoulders shook because of it. "I have to respect my client, Mrs Luna. Changing my word to me, I did it because I already thought of you as a friend just like me and Stefan."

The young lawyer Stefan's age revealed the reason.

"Yes. You asked him from the last time we met. But it feels awkward to come back to use it when we haven't seen each other for a long time" Luna said. "You know where Stefan is? Didn't you meet in this town?"

"Stefans...."

Andrew was surprised, but he could control himself. Fortunately just before entering, Christina had described a little of Luna's current condition.

"We didn't make a deal. Maybe he has some important business in Italy." Andrew rubbed the back of his head. The man simply replied, because he did not know what to reason for.

"How are you doing right now?"

"Didn't you ask that?" luna's forehead wrinkled to hear it.

"I mean, are you ready to go back to court if the culprit gets caught? While you're still in recovery."

Andrew plays his word. Thankfully it was on target.

"Of course I'm ready. Make a report immediately, And. Who knows Uncle William also got good news," Luna hoped to the uncle. Because it will make it easier to prosecute people who intend to harm him.

"I ... I just want to apologize." Evelyn lowered her head despite the tail of her eyes following Aglen's motion back to her seat.

"Egem ... Apologizing? What's for?" ask Aglen firmly.

The man's gaze plunged into Evelyn's bead of eyes that unintentionally aimed at her.

"Yesterday, I .. I don't know if it's not coffee, sir. Really, I only found out when an office boy said it."

"So, yesterday before home you knew you were giving the wrong coffee?"

Evelyn nodded.

"But I'm afraid to tell you, sir." Evelyn looked pale. The girl thinned her lips, regretting what she did yesterday even accidentally.

It seemed, Evelyn was really in trouble this time around.

"When you can stop it, yesterday. And I won't be tired going back and forth to the bathroom because of your coffee!" snapped Aglen which made Evelyn more guts.

"I'm sorry" Evelyn's great-granddaughter who felt guilty but didn't know how to make the boss forgive her.

"What is this food for!?" point it at the supplies Evelyn brought from home along with the coffee that had been on her desk since.

"For you, sir."

"You hope I forgive just by giving me like this!?" ask Aglen hard and full of emphasis.

"Sorry, sir."

Evelyn who was looking down was almost crying. He really felt under pressure.

"Call that office boy you're talking about. Also an office girl you said from Indonesia!" aglen.

"Good, sir."

Evelyn immediately walked out of Aglen's room. He did not care about his leg that hurt from standing for a long time. Right now the one in his brain only found the office boy in question and brought him before Aglen.

Meanwhile, in the room, Aglen, who was waiting for Evelyn, became interested in what she had done for him.

Supplies in the food box he opened, then he took a little side dish on top to taste.

Aglen's eyebrows shot up when her tongue felt that the food Evelyn gave was delicious. Finally he tried a spoon, and clean the spoon again until it looks clean as before.

As for the coffee, Aglen did not need to taste it. Because the label on the glass alone, has identified if the coffee is a concoction coffee that has no doubt taste.

Tok...

The door opened and the three people who were waiting for him entered.

The three stood parallel like a prisoner before Aglen.

"You're the one who said that what he took wasn't coffee?"

"Yes, sir," replied the man in office boy uniform.

"Then you?" point Aglen at a woman his age who is in the middle.

"I'm Jumini, sir. The owner of the herbs that Miss Evelyn took," replied the woman who was also in the same uniform as the man beside her.

"I didn't take it, Jum. It's already there." Evelyn refused to be accused of taking.

"What is the name of taking possession of a person without the permission of the owner? Especially thinking it's coffee when I don't know what that drink is. It was so bitter and it just kept me from stopping to the toilet."

Oops!

Aglen. Previously, he had only admitted stomach pains to Evelyn in order to maintain his pride. But in the end he told the truth.

"So you got diarrhea, sir?" Evelyn surprised. His face looks worried. Either he was worried about Aglen or worried about his own fate.

He did not expect the boss to suffer because of his actions. He thought it was just a normal stomachache.

"Maybe it's because you're not used to drinking it, sir. If I drink, I go back and forth to the toilet. But for me it's normal. That's dietary herbal medicine, sir, "says jumini tell.

Jamu was indeed deliberately sent from Indonesia by a brother from Jumini.

"Correctly! Are you really a girl, Eve? To the point of not being able to distinguish between coffee and that herbal powder?" upset Aglen.

While Evelyn just lowered her head and dropped her gaze to the floor.

"You still have it, don't you?" ask Aglen on Jumini.

"There's still a lot, sir. I always carry some in my bag every day" replied Jumini.

"You want me to forgive you, don't you?" Aglen stared intently at Evelyn.

"Of course, sir," Evelyn sparkled at Aglen's question which she considered a breath of fresh air for her.

"Jumini make a drink out of your bitter powder and bring it here!" aglen.

The woman of her age immediately left and a few moments later returned with a glass of drink.

"Put it there. Eve! Drink up!"

"What, Sir?"
