Chapter 37

"Let's...."

Luna shrieked in shock as she felt her head hit the floor. Need to collect lives first to make his consciousness return.

He sat facing his desk with red eyes.

"It turns out it was just a dream. I hope there comes a masked hero who helps. People like that are always only in the movies," muttered Luna softly.

The woman stood up and relaxed her stiff muscles. His rough sleeping position, coupled with a fall incident that he did not expect would be the main cause.

After feeling her body a little more comfortable, the woman walked up to her messy desk, and immediately cleaned it up.

As she was about to close her macbook, Luna remembered something. Before the macbook died, he got a name that he suspected, but he became doubtful himself. Because there's no way that guy stabbed him in the back. Luna doesn't have any evidence yet.

Luna immediately continued what she was doing. Tomorrow is the last proof of his suspicions. Because the person he suspects must have a share in the events of tomorrow. But somehow Luna became afraid of herself, afraid if all that was true.

The clock has been pointed at 11 p.m. It was too late to be in such a big company alone. But it must, in order to maintain what he has been fighting for all this time.

Luna picked up her bag, then walked out of her room and headed for the basement.

The atmosphere was very quiet, making time feel slow spinning. Fortunately, the security guard who happened to be around drove him up to the car.

Just a few minutes away from his company building, he remembered his cell phone. He forgot to put it in his bag. And when he checked his bag just to be sure, it turned out to be true. That sophisticated thing is missing. He must have forgotten to put it in because he was too focused on the papers scattered earlier.

Luna turned her car around to return to her office. By the time he reached the guard post in front of the gate, there was no one there. Maybe the guards are on patrol. But should they share the task, the guard post should still be there to keep even if only one person.

Luna re-entered the basement, and hurriedly entered the special elevator for her.

Ting!

The sound of the elevator that had reached the floor in question, rang out loud in the ears.

Luna stepped out, as the elevator door opened. The difference in temperature inside and outside the elevator creates its own sensation for the woman. The dimly lit lights make the atmosphere even more gripping. There was no one there and Luna forced herself up alone.

You idiot!

The woman cursed herself, why did she not wait for the security guard to come back to be accompanied up to the top floor or even she could tell them to get her phone.

In a quiet state like this, Luna still had time to look around, making sure no one surprised her there.

"Hmpp ... Emm." Luna felt something smother her mouth and then pulled her back. Repeatedly shouted and fought back he lost energy. "Gnl...." There was a hiss and a voice that was held back from the person behind him, but the hands of the owner of the costume who were all black were even stronger to hold Luna.

They are both still in the same place. Take shelter near a large artificial tree. The dim atmosphere tends to darken their existence.

"You're sure he's really gone?" ask the man in a very slow voice.

"of course. I drove him to the car myself. Please just go straight in. We have secured CCTV that highlights the entrance of the room" said a man who was certainly known by Luna. Because the voice belonged to the security guard who drove him earlier.

"All right, you guys just go back downstairs. I can do it myself. Your guard there is more effective than waiting for me in this place" said someone who seemed to have a higher position than the two guards.

The face of a person spoken to by the security guard was not very clear, because of the lack of lighting and from the beginning the person seemed to keep his head down and hide his face behind the hoodie he was wearing.

The two guards' footsteps sounded distant. Then slow footsteps that sounded very carefully were heading into a room.

The black figure that was behind Luna instantly pulled the woman's hand out of the hiding place to follow. Stay in silent and slow mode, so that the person being followed does not know it.

The figure who appeared to be wearing a dark sweater was apparently walking towards Luna's room.

"That's ... Ada_" Luna showed a panicked face.

The black figure that was next to Luna took out something from behind her black costume. Apparently a cell phone. Luna's cell phone.

"How can you?" asked Luna who still did not believe because apparently she lost quickly.

"Stt...." The black figure gave a gesture to follow him. Luna was taken to a room a little far away. The room was the lunchroom of the employees in his office. Only that room is unlocked every day.

Inside there is already a small monitor that shows almost all corners of the room Luna.

In just an instant, the figure that was with him had done many things. Makes Luna even more amazed.

With a gesture of his body, the figure again asked Luna to sit in front of the monitor. Keep an eye on the criminal who enters his room freely.

Everything goes fast. The person wearing the dark sweater finally pulled something out from behind the small bag hanging around his neck.

Apparently this was a conspiracy to drop his good name. The person who is behind all this must be someone who has power in the business world in Canada.

And most surprisingly, when the diamond box has entered the desired place. Someone in Luna's room lowered the hoodie that had from the beginning covered her head.

"Oh God .. no...." Luna almost cried to see him. He did not believe if all this time he kept a rat who acted sweet in front of him.

That originally upright back slightly sagged holding back was disappointed. Luna leaned back on the swivel chair lethargicly.

Trying to control himself, he looked at someone who had been standing next to him. The figure of a helper as well as a hero who did not expect to come.

"What's your plan?" ask that figure.

"You?" Luna felt like she recognized the voice. Though the figure who helped him from earlier had also spoken to him, maybe because he was panicking so he did not pay much attention to it.

"It's just a cover, isn't it? You can guess." The figure that must have been the man opened the cover of his face.

"I kicked you out yesterday. Why are you back?" Luna looked at Stefan. Apparently, it was his cousin who became his hero today.

"I just want to help you, Lun. Really, nothing more" said Stefan slowly. "What's your next plan?"

"Open everything. Shouldn't the rat be exterminated?"

"That won't make out the main character behind it, Lun. I'm sure it was just a manhunt. Someone's in control of everything." Actually, Stefan's analysis was the same as what Luna thought. But the woman is lazy if this problem drags on. He thought of Elea and her father.

"Do you have a better idea?" asked Luna with a sad look.

"If it's better said, it doesn't seem. But I'm sure I can open up who the main character is if we follow the drama they're making" Stefan suggested. The man promised himself he would do his best for the mother of his son.

Stefan stepped closer to Luna. The man said his plan to face tomorrow's incident will certainly be a lot of drama.

"That's gonna hurt El and Papa." Luna fell silent later. Should he follow Stefan's risky plan?

"Tomorrow morning I'll call Uncle Ellard to tell you our plan. For El, isn't there still Adam?"

"Adam could not be reached" said Luna coldly. Of course the woman did not want to tell Stefan this matter, and made him look weak. But free to cover it, the man will know.

So does Stefan. The point where Luna stopped her speech made the man not want to discuss it further Luna's personal relationship with Adam.

"Let me take care of El, too." Luna turned her head, staring unwillingly at the words of Stefan who was about to take care of the princess only wayangnya

"Let Papa alone," Luna finally broke up.

"All right, we're going home now. You need to rest. Leave your car here. Tomorrow morning after the turn of the security guard, I'll take it."

"No! I'll just go home by myself!" reject Luna who immediately got up from her chair.

"If you take your car out of the basement right now, of course the security guard will be suspicious and everything we're planning is exposed."

Luna stop. It's true Stefan said, but he didn't want a car with that guy.

"I'll just take a taxi."

"It's night, Lun. It's too risky for a woman to ride in a public car alone."

Stefan certainly wouldn't let it. Women's safety is a priority now.

"I just agreed to get out of this place with you, Stef. Not for others," said Luna who did not want to be debated again.

At last Stefan was just following what Luna said. To shorten the time and Luna also needs a break to prepare for the war tomorrow morning according to plan.

They both came out the side door. Every time they made it past the guards, Luna could not figure out how the man with her could pass through it so easily. Stefan brought advanced tools to help with his actions, which even Luna herself did not know what his name was.

The woman just followed what Stefan ordered, so they could get out unhindered.

When they got outside the fence, Luna who was walking in front waited for Stefan who was still cleaning the tools he used.

"I hitchhiked to the front road" said Luna. Of course he can't get a taxi from where he is right now. Or he had to turn around to find the taxi.

Stefan handed the car keys to the woman next to him.

"Just use my car."

"I just hitchhiked for a while. You'd better drive" replied Luna as she walked away from Stefan.

The man chased, pulled Luna's hand and placed the car keys in the hands of his cousin.

"Bring me up." After saying that, Stefan turned around and ran away.

"Stefans! That's not what I mean," cried Luna who unfortunately would not be heard by the man. Stefan who ran quickly left Luna had already disappeared behind the darkness of the night.
