La Luna (Bias Asa)

La Luna (Bias Asa)
Chapter 96

"Can I contact someone?" asked Adam who was at the police station waiting for interrogation.

"Please."

the blond-haired man pulled out his phone. Swipe the screen and look for Luna's contacts, then press the green button.

It failed!

The number could not be reached. A moment later Adam just remembered if Luna was not able to contact since his return first.

Then the man looked for his father's number. Right now, it might be the man she had to help her. Everyone rejected him because of his actions.

"Pa...."

"What's wrong?" The voice of the man he called the father was not at all friendly. In the past, they were not very close. But Adam's consequences of putting his personal interests above his mother's interests make Sebastian cold to his son.

"Can Papa find me a lawyer? Or maybe Papa can lend Uncle Scott to me?"

Scott is a lawyer and a close friend of his father.

"For what?"

Sebastian's words still sound unfriendly at all? Though it can be guessed if Adam needs a lawyer, it means he is in trouble.

"Forku. I'm at the police station right now, Pa." The blond man answered me weakly.

"You can use Scott_"

"Thank you, Pa!" adam shouted in relief. He didn't expect his father to care about him.

"But you paid for it yourself!"

And immediately made Adam silent. The pain in his leg suddenly spread and made him grimace, but more hurt what he heard from his father.

"Pa...."

"My company changed hands two days ago." Sebastian's breathing was heavy afterwards. "I had to give up the only thing left of your grandfather's legacy to change hands. Because I have too much debt."

"Did Kylie not call at all?" ask Adam to be angry. And got the answer from the father.

There's no way Kylie hasn't heard of her mother's passing. Local Canadian media reported it. Or maybe from his friends who still live here.

"I want to spend the rest of my life in peace. Without thinking about debt, and anything that has been in my mind all this time. You're all grown up, fight for each of your lives. This old man you called father can't give you anything now" Sebastian said sadly.

"Papa don't talk like that!" Adam's voice ragged. He stood up and limped away from the not-so-large waiting room.

During his life, he had never heard his father say such a thing. Despite the many whack problems, the old man remained calm in dealing with it.

"It's not why you don't care or remember me anymore. In the end I was only destined to be alone until my death came."

"Father! Papa still has us" said Adam Lirih. The man cried hearing the father's words.

"Live well, son. You know, people will respect you because of your attitude and nature. Not the money, wealth, or rank you have. It's all pseudo."

Adam was silent at the advice of the man who had never been close to him in his life. But for some reason, now in his heart the blond man admits, if sebastian is the best father for him. Although it may be too late.

"Papa will always pray for the best for you. Don't forget to find your sister if you have time. Good bye."

Clik.

Sebastian decided unilaterally to call his son.

And Adam, the man who was leaning his forehead on the arm attached to the wall, was moved.

It's a heavy blow for him. The mother is gone, Kylie the sister is somewhere. But my father has gone through his own life.

Adam alone. Amidst the huge problems that might make him spend the rest of his life in the iron trellis, he has no one to even entertain.

There aren't.

"Sir, please. You've been waiting for interrogation."

A man wearing a police uniform approached her.

Adam immediately wiped away the traces of tears that had soaked his cheeks. Then the man set his foot on the side following the man in uniform in front of him.

"Mr Andrew is waiting outside."

Christina told Luna who had just finished cleaning herself.

"Attent, Bi. I'll get my clothes on first." Luna put on her cardigans after wearing the special patient clothes that the nurse had prepared earlier. Then slightly comb her hair to make it neat.

Not long after, Andrew entered along with Christina.

"Good day, Madam." Andrew's heavy breathing sounded. The concerned look of the man was clearly visible from his gesture. "How are you today?" A small smile accompanied Andrew's question.

"Well, sir," said Luna, who knew the meaning of the lawyer's smile.

"I told you to call me a name." A statement that is always repeated by Andrew. But it seems like Luna is still reluctant and often forgets to do so.

"Yes, I almost forgot. Andrews. This is a file that can be used as evidence to strengthen our report later. Like I said on the phone."

Luna handed over the files she got from the doctor who treated her, as well as the one in charge of removing the visa.

"Oh, yes. Aunty took a disk containing CCTV footage in which there was evidence of a car driven by the perpetrator. Your uncle asked for it, honey. He deployed his men to investigate and find out who owned it" Christina said.

"really? That's a good move, ma'am. We have to find it ourselves, so that the perpetrator really does not dwell. When we give the evidence in court."

Andrew responded and confirmed the move by Stefan's parents. It did greatly ease his work as a lawyer. Because usually he is also looking for detectives to help facilitate his work.

"Yes, we walk quietly. Now Mr. Andrew can make a report to the police. And Luna, Bibi has taken care of all her administration. We can go home after this."

"Mrs is going home?"

Luna nodded. "I don't feel safe here, And. I better recover my body at home."

"Yes, Madam. I still don't think about the people who intend evil. They are intent once. Wherever you go, they're always following and looking for every little crack to hurt you."

Luna smiled slightly. Let alone Andrew, Luna herself also did not expect if they always knew of his whereabouts.

And fortunately, God always still protects Luna by all means. The woman always felt lucky on her rough journey.

"Evil always finds a way to show off. But luck also never runs out of sense to save. I don't know, but I always feel lucky, especially being in the Efrain family."

Luna looked at the aunt who was also staring at her. The middle-aged woman clasped tightly onto Luna's fingers to strengthen. In her heart was proud, when Luna was happy to be an Efrain.

"Alright, I'll make a report now. O, yes. Mr. Ellard is very worried about you. He called me this morning, asking me a lot of questions. Good thing I don't miss you if you're sick."

"Papa?"

Andrew nodded. "He's sick too, ma'am."

"You are like lovebirds" said Christina fiercely.
