Chapter 15: Staying

The demi-human region was the second largest region after the territory of the Hermione kingdom, it encompassed an area that was entirely close to the sea.

They are rich with a variety of fish that are sent to every region, unfortunately something has happened that makes now they can not export every produce they are available.

Fel who was investigating him had reached the border gate after joining the merchant caravan. Some lion-eared guards had examined them.

"Please open your hood."

Fel did what one of them said and he was not too worried that he was known to be an elf.

"Surprising that I can see real elves, please continue your journey."

And that was how Fel had entered into the demi-human territory. This was the first town after he got off the train.

Everything seemed fine hardly to look something was wrong, Fel decided to stop by at one of the bars and order a drink at a female bartender.

"Please, drinks with low alcohol content."

"Thank you."

"There's a lot of people who come here, like they want to run away from reality and just drop themselves in drinks and it looks like you didn't come to do it."

"As you might expect, I'm looking for information on things that are changing in this region."

"So that's it."

"Every bar is a network of Wines, I..."

"Forget it, I can't say anything about it."

The bartender already knew that their chatter was being listened to by some of the nuisance mosquitoes. Fel realized that so he chose to take different initiatives.

"It's a shame."

However, the bartender slipped him a paper to take Fel as an introduction to his departure.

Fel opened the door and came out as if nothing had happened, of course the people who followed him never let go.

When they got into the alley that Fel was going through, he had already disappeared.

"No one, look for him."

On top of the tall building Fel had stood up, he again put on his hood.

"It must be a lot of trouble" he murmured softly before jumping from house to house until his figure disappeared.

***

That day I had gathered Yue, Kila, Noel and Marie to sit on the floor while I was introgating in front of them.

"So, which one of you sold my house?"

I had no intention of staying in this mansion but someone instead sold my house, towards me who put on an annoyed face they pointed at each other.

In short they had been conspiring from the beginning.

So that they can tell me to stay they sell it, even though I get the money doesn't make me happy.

Yue added.

"We members of our party are supposed to be living together."

"Together with your eel."

I don't know what to say.

"I guarantee you'll be comfortable living here."

Now that I don't know what to do, if I buy another house they'll sell it again so I decide to settle down now.

We divide ourselves to clean, make food and take turns caring for this house.

I was in charge of tending to the grounds as a gardener, while I thought about how Fel was doing, he had gone to the demi-human territory and there was no word from him.

It's not that I care about him, it's just that I want to be able to get a lesson from him back.

After all he was a hero who had even been forgotten by others, lucky that I knew all this from Yue herself.

Yue's identity was also very mysterious.
