Chapter 62: The legendary Dragon

"My name is Seril, what brought you here?"

I explained everything that happened until we came here.

"So then, you know this place from Lich. I think I've had people before."

For most people they would not try to climb to the top of the world tree if it did not really have an important purpose.

Seril closed his eyes and surprisingly a book had flown at him.

"Here are the things you want to know, when you're done you can leave the book at the table."

"We understand, by the way are you going to do something?"

"I want to sleep, do as you like."

He might just be a person who spends his leisure time sleeping, or at least that's what he always does.

Yue sat down to open his book while we peeked out from behind.

"Here it is said that the legendary dragon that made the continent in this world divided by four, supposedly its emergence always makes destruction."

"So Dragontail wants to release such a creature."

"It looks so."

The book sheet is turned on a picture filled with a dragon with a witch around him trying to attack him.

They placed him inside an Iron Maiden coffin and buried him under a mountain and sealed him with such intricate magic.

The seal will only weaken when a solar eclipse occurs and the day will happen in three more days.

"We really don't have time to relax" said Marie, who received a strong nod from Noel.

At the end of the day everyone's fate depended on us, knowing that we had saved his book and went out to meet Fresisca.

"It's over."

"Please just take us down."

"All right."

We got back on the train and left the tree of the world.

"I think I can stay there longer, nyan."

"We can go sometime."

"You're right nyan. We have things to do too."

I nodded in return.

Our train had broken through the forest then passed the river and stopped in a countryside to stay overnight.

"Before it happened, we had to stop it no matter what," as I muttered that I looked at the moon shining through the window.

Tonight we sleep in an unused stall, which is better than sleeping in the wild.

The next day an avalanche had stopped our journey, because there was no way we decided to get rid of it first.

It took us a few hours, but the rest was a normal trip. From our place, we could see the mountain in question. A mountain made of rocks.

Looking at it would give the thought that what a mountain like that really exists.

We rested back inside the cave, no changes were happening, we chatted like we usually joke around and even did things against monsters to train ourselves.

When I sat staring at the bonfire everyone was waiting for me in front of the mouth of the cave.

"Okta hurry up, it's time we go nyan."

"Ah."

I got up while holding my sword.

"En, you're ready."

"Everytime."

Both my eyes seemed to shine brightly before finally returning to normal. It's going to be an all-out fight.
