Chapter 26: The Enemy to Be Faced

Zil directed the tip of his hand and from there a light was shot. I realized it was holding Kokoro before jumping to avoid it.

"Good move but it doesn't make me rest."

"Don't worry I'll make you rest forever" I said.

"My goal is just to finish off whoever I meet, it'll be a lot more exciting than before."

Zil was about to move but two people had appeared against him, one was a man whose entire body was covered in a bandage like a mummy and another was a little woman who used an anchor as her weapon.

"Stop Zil, we're done here."

"Max and Robin?"

"Whatever he says is true, the contract we made with him has been completed and we don't need to carry the names of deadly sins anymore."

I obviously don't understand what they're trying to say?

A guy named Max looked at me.

"We are not the deadly sin you think, we are an organization called Dragontail, which rents itself out for evil and money."

I dropped Kokoro and he retaliated.

"Dragontail is a dark guild, so you're trying to destroy my country because someone paid for it."

"Right, I don't know what he wants but he just said we should do this, our goal with him wasn't much different, so we accepted it."

"You savages who can kill others without a second thought."

Max shrugged his shoulders lightly.

"Lazy."

Robin sighed softly at Zil's statement.

"Stop that, your acting sucks."

"It's my nature."

"really."

"Then we retreat, it looks like we'll meet someday.well, just my hunch."

Max placed his hand on the ground and a magic circle appeared to let out a kind of bird they were riding on and lost in the air.

Kokoro dropped himself in despair, however the entire people in the palace had died.

Moments later my group started to join and I explained everything.

I saw Fel who was slightly paled so I asked towards him.

"Are you okay?"

"Not really, my abilities have been completely sealed."

"Your abilities?"

"Well, even now I can't teach you anything about magic."

"No way, then what about my training?"

"I think there's one person who can do it, if you want you can practice with Yue's father."

"Is his father that good?"

"True, he's great despite his jobless nature."

I was a little curious as to how that person was, but considering that Yue could be as great as it was obvious at once that her father was a great person.

I turned the question in a more important direction.

"So do you know who did all this?"

"One of the high angels, he has the ability to eliminate the power of his enemy, he is the most troublesome angel."

"Angels are trying to destroy one country."

"Many things I didn't know unfortunately before I tried, my circumstances would not allow me to find out, maybe now hope depends on you and your friends alone."

If he says it, it is true.

Fel pointed out his holy sword but suddenly his sword shattered into small fragments.

"Why can?".many of you were surprised.

"It's just a mock sword, when my task is done I did get my sword back just that I decided to look for a successor to have it so I kept it inside a dungeon in the southern region, if you want you can go there to get it, that's also if no one's done it."

A lot of things are happening now, but slowly I understand what I have to do.
