Chapter 39: Fenrir

Both Kila and I covered our ears to coincide when a deafening sound attacked our eardrums.

From the direction of the voice a small wolf appeared.

"What's? I thought the wolf was an adult, but it was just a small animal."

A glimpse of Marie's words flashed through my mind.

He's Fenrir.

"Don't be fooled, he's the real boss!" shouted so.

"What?"

In just a short moment the little wolf showed a very clear change, its body continuously growing in size along with its claws and protruding mouth.

We really have to fight creatures like this.

While I was thinking Kila had already made preparations with half a crouch as if she was in a running match, she bent her knees.

"Here it is, my spectacular lightning-speed movement."

Wus, the wind immediately blew along with Kila's body that shot like light, the wolf was suddenly thrown as if it was hit by a wind cannon. He rolled several times on the ground before getting stuck behind the fallen trees.

Kila was still moving at high speed, except the dust he made the rest was nowhere to be seen.

Fenrir circled his eyes ascertaining where his enemy was from.

Don't tell him.

"Crazy?" I called out to him but too late, Fenrir's front leg hit his body until he was thrown at high speed, smashing through the trees before exploding after crashing into the stone wall.

Fenri shouted towards me full of hostility.

"What should I do? This creature is very powerful and terrible, no. It is not the time to think, I have to defeat it at all costs.

I continued to balance my breath, focusing and suddenly in both hands a fire appeared.

"Successfully."

Fenri was already in front of me ready to devour me with his lined mouth, I did not avoid it but merely strengthened my horses while pulling one fist back.

This was a stone crushing blow that had been enhanced with fire.

"Feel this."

I punched the air and Boom, a shockwave gushing from my hand, the wolf's body shattered into small fragments along with the path of the hot crater that destroyed one mountain behind it.

"What the fuck with my punch? This is no longer a stone-crushing style, but a disaster."

Kila who walked on her tiptoes also felt astonished.

"That's great, one punch obliterates everything."

A move like this cannot be used inside the city, it would be bad to have to compensate for the losses I made from using it.

The two of us regrouped as the sun peeked out from the mountains. In front is a city that will be inhabited by the Tora family and also other residents.

"Thank you, thanks to you, we survived."

"We're glad we could help."

"I've spoken to the landowners, they are allowed to stay in the city on condition of complying with the city rules," Yue moored.

I think it's a clear farewell.

"Then take care of yourself, good luck."

I waved to them in return.

"The wolf is so scary nyan, my legs still hurt."

"Later it will also heal, this oil is very effective," Marie replied as she showed her product.

Thanks to him Kila's sprained wrist has been repaired.

Noel sighed softly.

"I want to stay in the city for a while, can't we stay there too?"

"Faster is better, not so Okta."

I nodded in response to Yue's statement.

There is no specific reason. However, if we indulge in the city it will be difficult when we enter the dungeon.

It's just to get us used to it.

From the top of the hill we could see a tall tower rising above the sky, located itself in a large city.

That's where Dungeon Abyss is, I said inwardly.
