Chapter 41: The Exit

The skull swung both of its swords to the ground and it created a shockwave that threw us from it.

Yue who was next to me said.

"Look at that Okta."

I followed the direction he pointed to and there was a door that would most likely take us further and further.

If there is a choice we can escape without fighting with this creature then it is worth a try.

On the other hand there was a kind of treasure chest, this became the choice of taking his treasure or escaping.

Kila and Noel strike in unison as Marie has jumped on top of him, the three doing a combo of attacks but in the end they are flown backwards.

There's some kind of protector protecting her.

"Yue try to use light magic."

"Good."

I gave the instructions as I moved forward.

"Crazy?" call me.

"Nean, okay."

Kila is positioned to stand with two hands while her feet are on top with a bent position, she is an Atlentist.

I jumped up, put my foot on his leg as he pushed me upwards above the head of our enemy, I spun a moment in the air dipping with a puncture motion.

There was a crack but it did not come from the skull but from my sword, my sword shattered into pieces before I actually fell from a height.

Kila caught me while dodging the counterattack, as we retreated the light beam from Yue magic wrapped around the skull and faded afterwards.

"Did it work?" ask Marie.

Of course not, the protector is still sturdy.

"Change the plan, everything's moving towards the next floor, now."

"Good."

We hurriedly ran with all our might.

"My magic doesn't work, it's likely that the magic should be at the level of a holy hero or an Arc Priest."

"You haven't reached that level yet?" ask me while running.

"Of course, those with a title job can."

I can understand that.

One could not simply use top-tier holy magic if they did not actually take up the job, in short it was like magic given by a goddess.

We jumped just as the sword blade was about to hit us. My head is under Noel's feet.

It was a nice sight but it wasn't time to see the no-no, we didn't know what floor it was on and obviously we got lost off the map.

Yue took out a torch for our lighting.

"Let's move."

I led the way then stopped when I saw that in front of us was full of human skulls.

"They're stuck here and can't escape, poor people."

"Let's find something in their bodies, at least I hope we find a little clue."

"Isn't that too much?" Noel expressed his opinion.

It was only natural that if he said that, for a knight to take things from the dead was an act of no praise. But at the moment we cannot be picky. Compared to anything I want to know where we are now.
