Chapter 16: Special Mission

I did my job well, now that the yard is fully the same length of grass.

Marie appeared behind me with a glass of cold water on the tray.

"Please, Okta must be thirsty."

"Thank you."

I drank it and it was a relief as it passed through my throat.

"What about the other work?"

"Just about done, I think everybody's really excited about decorating. I'm even missing my share of styling."

I smiled wryly after hearing it, to be a professional maid Marie had to be good at it unfortunately she had no chance.

He then looked at me with a shining look.

"The maid's job left for me was to rub her master's back while taking a bath, because it's my Okta."

I chose to walk away from him.

"Wait, I'm not done yet."

Everyday like this I think will continue from now on, the three days we use to juggle the whole house to be comfortable living in and the next day there is only work that we have to finish.

We hunted many Goblins, Orcs and some wild wolves until the receptionist gave us a special mission.

"Okta, Miss Cosetta would like to see you at her residence I hope you go there."

"Can I refuse?" many ensure.

"Obviously no, Miss Cosetta is an influential person in this city, she can even withdraw your adventurer license if you want."

Hearing him make me nauseous, after all he's a bad person, he'll definitely do it.

Kila, Noel, Yue and Marie obviously did not mind for this either.

We pressed the doorbell and a few maids greeted us in, they were wearing gothic dresses that made her a completely different servant than she should be.

Politely they showed us the way to the back of the grounds which was a special area for tea.

I could see how someone was sitting while pulling the cup to the lips.

"Good morning.. How was your adventure?"

"Thank God, sit down I will begin to explain the mission I will give you."

We sat down like what he asked for with tea brewed by Yue for all of us.

"The smell is sweet."
