Legends of All Time
Chapter 13 - Legends of All Time

"This concerns the good name of Guil Fairy," the third man replied.

"Taking into the guild's good name? What's that supposed?" ask Drian.

"Charlin Group is the most famous and famous expedition group in the whole world. If something bad happened to them, let alone them being under the escort of the Fairy Guild, the Fairy Guild's name would be smeared. Therefore, we came here specifically to take over this mission" said the first man.

"Don't joke! I don't care who you are. I don't care what your reasons are either, but I will never leave this mission to you!" my yelling.

A million gale mission, of course I won't let go of it just like that. Moreover, this mission is also almost certainly completed.

The second man suddenly walked up to me, then said, "I love your courage, boy! But do you know who we are?"

"No!" I answered without a second thought.

"Haha! You should dare to shout like that" said the second man, laughing loudly.

The second man then added, "Increase ..we are Fairy Guild executives."

"Fairy Guild Executive?" Drian and Angel were quite surprised to hear that.

I was surprised, but I tried to cover it up. I'm sorry if I'm surprised too.

Executives were the posts for those under the direct command of the Guild Master. The post was usually populated by commanders of the guild's main squad division, or specially selected people.

"Why is he suddenly silent?" asked the second man, like he wanted to tease me, but I didn't respond to him at all.

"You don't have to worry. We did come here to take over this mission, but you'll still get the promised pay, at least a quarter" the second man said.

A quarter of a million gale, that's a pretty big amount, but when compared to a million gale, it's a pretty small amount. At least that's what I think.

"You came here because you doubted our capacity, right? What if we prove who is stronger. If you win, we will be happy to give this mission, of course with a record quarter of the pay is still for us, but if we win, this mission remains entirely ours. How's it?" I'm trying to find a middle ground.

"Do you seriously want to challenge us?" ask the second man.

"Why not?" my reply.

"Well, we gladly accept," the second man replied with a confident look.

"Woi, Vin, you seriously want to challenge them?" ask Drian.

"The problem is one million gale, Yan .. one million!" my reply.

"You have to be!" grunts Drian.

That afternoon, still under the torrential rain that drenched the valley, our representatives will have a one-on-one duel against the executive representatives of the Fairy Guild.

In the duel, I chose Drian to represent us, while the guild executives would be represented by the second man.

Drian ...? Yes, Drian.

"Why is it a cave that has to be dueled? You're the one who nantangin them!" grunts Drian.

"Look easy, Yan. Gua's sure you'll win, really," I said.

"Hoi, Boy! Why don't you go ahead!" shouted the second man.

"I'm sorry, but .. I'm cold!" my reply.

"The reason" the second man grumbled, while the other two men seemed to care less.

It was a one-on-one duel, where the one who managed to first land an attack on the opponent's body would be considered the winner.

"Are you sure about this? His opponent was Regas, one of the strongest division commanders in the Fairy Guild," Om John said doubtfully.

Not only Om John, but Om Jerni, Om Lucas, Om Morphin, to Om Ludensberg also seemed to doubt we would win. Yes, that is understandable, considering they also do not know how strong we are.

"Just calm down, Om. Drian will win, really," I said.

I don't know how good the guy named Regas is, but I'm still sure Drian will come out as a winner.

"Are you guys ready?" ask the first man to referee the duel.

Drian and the second man who turned out to be named Regas nodded their heads.

"Then ... start!" said the first man while swinging his hands down.

Right after the duel began, in just the blink of an eye, Drian had already moved right into the presence of the man named Regas and managed to land a single slow blow to the man's chest.

The three Fairy Guild executives instantly widened their eyes. I'm sure they didn't expect Drian to be able to move that fast.

"Kan, I said what ... Drian will win," I said.

The reason why I chose Drian to represent us in that duel is because Drian is the fastest fighter I have ever known.

I don't know if there's anything faster out there than him, but so far, I haven't found one.

Confidently, I began to walk forward, approaching the three executives of the Fairy Guild.

"We won. That means this mission is ours, right?" my many.

Instead of saying yes and accepting defeat, they looked at us with suspicious looks.

"Who are you guys? Are you guys spies for another guild?" ask the third man while pointing his sword at me and Drian.

"Woooo .. kalem, Bang, kalem!" I said, raising both hands.

At first, I thought they would be amazed and praise us because an unknown person like us could defeat one of them in the duel.

But what happened was just the opposite. Instead of astonishing and praising us, they suspected us of being spies.

"What's the reason you're disguised as mercenaries of our guild?" he added the third man, still pointing his sword at me and Drian.

"We're not spies like you think. We are only village children who want to earn money," replied Drian as he raised both hands.

"Do you think we'll believe it? How could the village boy have such an ability," said the first man.

"Mr Khamim, please lower your sword. I don't know if they're spies like you think, but I think they're good kids" Om John said.

"Tu, denger, tu .. we are good and innocent children who have not been stained. We may be spies" I said.

The third man who turned out to be named Khamim was silent for a moment, then sheathed his sword back.

He put his sword back on his back. Just a term I use.

"I will keep an eye on you" said the man named Khamim.

Drian and I were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief because their misunderstandings and suspicions had been slightly reduced, even if only slightly.

...

Long story short, because the day was getting darker, plus the weather was still raining heavily, we decided to gather in the tent.

"So, you've been training for eight whole years, huh?" ask Bang Regas.

I knew the names of each of them after talking for a long time in the tent. Therefore, from now on I will call them Bang Joshua, Bang Regas, and Bang Khamim, considering they are older than us, and also they are technically our superiors as well as seniors in the guild.

"Yes, less is more. That's why we can be this strong" I replied while holding a glass of hot chocolate and using a thick blanket to warm myself.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Khamim. The reason we didn't make a direct request to the Guild Master was because we didn't want to get involved in politics" Om John said.

"Yes, we understand that, but either way, we can't just ignore this" Bang Khamim said, drinking a glass of hot chocolate.

"We understand you're worried about the guild's reputation if something happens to the Charlin Group, but why should executives like you come directly here?" drian asked, also holding a glass of hot chocolate and using a thick blanket to warm himself up.

"This valley is far more dangerous than you think. That is why we have been directly deployed in this mission" replied Bang Regas.

"What does that mean about the White guy?" ask Drian.

"The White ...? He's not even a threat at all. The real threat in this forest is ..."

Unfinished Bang Regas explained, suddenly we felt a radiance of energy that felt very pressing and intimidating.

Everyone stood up and put on high alert, except me.

Relaxing in a thick blanket while sipping a glass of hot chocolate in my opinion is much more important than caring about that kind of thing.

"Ma-nu-sia .. su-dah la-ma I am not-dak me-li-hat ma-nu-sia."

From behind shady trees and wet soil due to rain, suddenly appeared three creatures resembling humans. The creature can speak human language, but is less clear.

The creature has a glowing red skin and in some parts burns. Their eyes are bright yellow. They had two circular horns accompanied by a blazing fire. In addition, they also have a small tail long pointed like the tip of an arrow.

It was only after seeing the arrival of the three creatures that I finally stood up and put on high alert.

"What the fuck is that thing?" muttered.

Not nothing, I also put a high alert because I feel uncomfortable when seeing the arrival of the three creatures.

They look scary, but when compared to ghosts, I think they look more likely to look strange.

"They are the real threats that lurk this valley. Serius, Galiel, and Pieron. The three of them were direct subordinates of the Devil's Sin of Laziness, Balpeghor," Bang Regas explained.
