Legends of All Time
Chapter 2 - Difference in Perception

When we are negotiating ...

The splash!

Suddenly there was a huge splashing sound from the middle of the lake.

Drian and I looked over.

"Buruan, Vin!" shouted Drian.

"Yes!" my reply.

Without a second thought, Drian and I immediately threw themselves into the lake thinking that the spark was caused by our game.

Arriving in the middle of the lake, we both finally found the cause of the previous splash, but because it was almost night, plus we were also diving in the water, we had difficulty seeing.

We tried to get closer, and when we could see more clearly, we immediately looked at a giant snake-like creature that was wrapped around the body of a large crocodile.

Drian then gave me a cue back to the mainland with his hand, while I nodded immediately, a sign of understanding.

We swam back to the edge of the lake with all our might, but also as calm as possible so as not to attract the attention of the creature.

"Huanjir .. that was whatan woi ...!" I was quite hysterical when I got to the edge of the lake.

"Today the cave saw what it looked like." Drian is also quite hysterical.

"Why?" asked Angel who approached us with a confused look.

The splash!

Suddenly the creature we saw before appeared to the surface of the lake.

"Huanjin!" I became hysterical after seeing the creature.

Before, I could only see his form faintly due to the lack of light, but now I could see his form clearly.

The creature looks like a snake, but has a lion-like head and has a bull-like horn. His body was scaly jet black.

It is very long and large, long enough to be wrapped around a large crocodile.

The creature looked at us from a distance.

"Come, the hunt's gone!" said Drian.

"Yes!"

We were rushing to leave the lake. However, after a few steps, I stopped for a reason, while Drian and Angel ran away.

"Man ... need not be afraid. I'm not gonna hurt you." I stopped because hearing the monster's voice felt like it had entered my brain.

"Did you just say you wouldn't hurt us?" I asked the monster.

"Can you hear my voice?" The voice of the monster sounded like surprise and disbelief.

"Yes, I can hear you," I said.

"Vin, run fast! Why stay there?" shouted Drian.

Because Drian and Angel looked so panicked, I assumed they hadn't heard what the monster had just said.

"Yan, Ngel, there's no need to run. He said he wouldn't hurt us" I said.

"Yeah?! What the hell are you ...? The monster is a beast! Maybe he was just passing by!" shouted Drian.

"It seems like you humans misunderstood us. We, the monsters actually do not like to fight and hurt humans. We will only fight when absolutely forced." Again, the speech felt directly into my brain.

I was quite jolted to hear the sentence that the monster had just spoken.

As Drian said, the monsters in this world are known to be quite violent and like to injure humans, but somehow, the monsters that are in front of me right now are saying the opposite.

I don't know which one to believe, but according to my judgment, it seems to be true what this monster before me is saying.

After saying that, the monster immediately dived back into the lake.

I was quite relieved because the monster was just passing by.

It's nothing, if I have to fight though, I'm sure one million percent I will win. The problem is, I am the one with the animals. Therefore, I am very relieved that I do not need to fight with the monster.

However, because of the meeting, I became curious about the sentence that the monster said, about monsters that do not like to hurt humans.

"Why, Vin?" ask Angel.

"Lu's fine, right?" ask Drian.

"No, that was ...."

I wanted to explain the previous one, the sentence that the monster said, but somehow, I paused it.

"No. .. It's nothing."

Not long after the monster dived back into the lake, the hunted animal we were looking for was suddenly thrown to the edge of the lake, like being accidentally thrown from the lake.

We were really astonished by the strange event we had just experienced.

"Let's forget this. Let's just say this never happened" Drian said.

"Yes." Yeah." Angel and I agreed.

...

That very night, we directly brought our hunted animals to the Fairy Guild in exchange for the promised rewards.

"This is your reward, 500 gale."

"Thank you very much" I said.

After that, we immediately left the guild and went around the city to forage.

"What are we eating tonight?" asked Drian who was walking beside me.

"Where about satay? I think it's good, "I answered while pointing at the satay stall on the side of the road.

"I want to eat kebabs" said Angel.

"Sate, woi ... satay .. cave is not doyan kebab," I grumbled.

"Yes, satay. No papa, Ngel ...?" ask Drian.

"Yes, it doesn't matter."

Long story short, tonight we decided to eat satay at a roadside stall.

While waiting for the order to come, we started talking about the incident at the lake earlier.

"Vin, what did you do ...?" ask Drian.

"I'm curious too" added Angel.

"Oh, about that ...."

At first I was a bit hesitant to explain, but since they are my best friend and the person I can trust the most, I explained.

"So it .. the cave felt that the sound of the monster went directly into the cave brain. I think it's some kind of telepathy. He said that monsters really don't like to hurt humans."

Drian and Angel looked quite shocked and surprised after hearing my explanation.

"Cave guitars aren't horrifying?" ask Drian.

"Yes, the cave doesn't know either. That's why, the cave is confused," I replied.

"Vin, don't-don't ...."

"Don't ...?" I'm pretty curious about what Drian wants to say.

"What do not-don't .. lu this ...."

"But by the way, woi! Don't be curious!" my snapping.

"Vin, maybe you're their countryman. That's why you can hear their voices" Drian said.

"Ngaco lu ...."

"Yes, how could Alvin be their ama," said Angel.

"Yeeee .. It's also possible" Drian said.

While we were busy talking, suddenly ...

"Hey, sweetie, you want to nemenin not tonight?"

Suddenly there is a horde of obscure people trying to tease Angel.

"Hoi, Rice Sacks, who are you ...? Dateng-dateng makegodain bini cave!" Sarcastic is my ninja path.

"Rice Sacks ...?" The Rice Sack looked upset.

"Why ...? Not accept? Ngaca sono ngaca!"

My words may be rude, but I wouldn't say such a thing if this man, yes, the Rice Sack, he didn't look for it first.

"Udah, Vin, already. There was no need to be treated," said Angel, while Drian just relaxed while drinking a glass of hot tea, as if she wanted to make me serve the Rice Sack in a polite way.

"Hoi ... join the cave," said the Rice Sack while giving a code to take me out of the stall.

As a man who does not hesitate to defend the right, I also defend his will.

We then came out of the shop.

"Lu just said the Rice Sack cave, right?"

"Why ...? Still not accept?" my reply.

"Your cave is here" said the Rice Sack.

"Oh .. that's .. ok."

Then I undressed.

"Why are you even undressing?" ask the Rice Sack.

"Gua don't want a dirty cave suit with your blood" I replied.

"Yan, hold on, Yan." I gave Drian my shirt.

"breed. Forward here. The stomach of the cave is laper," I said.

After I took off my shirt, the Rice Sack suddenly went silent a thousand languages.

"Why ...? He said he wanted to brush the cave ...?"

"Bang, sorry, Bang. The hilaf cave."

The Rice Sack that was originally hardy, suddenly flaccid like paper.

"Come, pull it." The Rice Sack and his group suddenly left just like that.

"Basic freak. He said he wanted to make a noise," I muttered in astonishment.

"Where dare he look at your body," said Drian.

"Why are there cave bodies?" my many.

"Liat noh," said Drian while giving the code to look around.

I looked around and found that many people were looking at me.

I had a slender body, but a muscular stock filled with so many incision wounds that it still imprinted.

All the injuries I got from my training so far with Drian and also the injuries from the claw incisions of wild animals such as lions to wolves that I often make training materials.

Only then did I finally realize that people might be scared after seeing my body.

I put my clothes back on, then went back to the satay shop.
