Not noticeably, a month had passed by so quickly.
In the past month, I, Drian, and Angel managed to climb to rank B with a score of twenty thousand more achievements.
People say it was an amazing achievement. They also said that we were amazing, considering that there was rarely a group that could raise the rankings as quickly as we did.
Even so, we were not satisfied. We are actually targeting to go up to rank A, but since the number of missions available is very limited, what we can do, we have to be satisfied just to go up to rank B.
In addition to achieving a lot, we also managed to raise a lot of money. In total, we managed to gather approximately one hundred thousand gale in just the last one month.
I will explain a little about the ranking system implemented by the great guilds of the world, including the guild I am in.
Rank D: This rank is reserved for newly joined mercenaries.
Rank C: It takes at least 1,000-10,000 total achievements to reach this rank.
Rank B: It takes at least 10,001 - 100,000 total achievements to reach this rank.
Rank A: It takes at least 100,001 - 1,000,000 total achievements to reach this rank.
Rank S: It takes at least 1,000,001 - unlimited to reach this rank.
S+ Rank: This rank is reserved for official members.
Ranking is useful for determining the level of the mission that can and should not be taken by a mercenary, while achievement is the points obtained after successfully completing the mission.
The higher the mission rank taken, the greater the achievement will be obtained.
Usually, small guilds did not impose a ranking system because they were usually new or had few members.
Ranking itself was only used by large guilds that had thousands of members.
There was a huge difference between a paid member and an official member. Easy, paid members are just like freelancers, while official members are just like permanent employees of a company. I analogized it that way because basically the guild itself was similar to a business network.
I know quite a lot about it because someday I intend to establish my own guild. Although it may be a long time, but I have to start learning from now on.
Setting up a guild requires a lot of money as well as a fairly long and complicated process. The registration fee alone requires at least a million gale.
Therefore, I have a lot to learn before actually setting up my own guild. I need a lot of money too.
It wouldn't be funny if I used that kind of money just to throw it away. I mean if I decide to create my own guild and don't manage to get a mission, it would be a waste of money.
...
This morning, when the sun was just rising from the eastern horizon, I walked around the village to refresh my body while looking at the condition and development of the village.
"Morning, Vin! Where are you going?"
"Oh, morning, sir! No, this .. just want to take a walk. What are you doing there, sir?" my many.
"For the tile!" reply Mr. Rahman who was hanging out on the roof of his house.
"Be careful, Sir! Don't get jatoh!" my yelling.
"Quiet down! It's safe, it's safe!"
Mr. Rahman is one of my favorite villagers because he's always been nice to me. She also has a very beautiful daughter, her name is Goddess.
"If so I continue, yes, sir!" my yelling.
"Wokay!" reply Mr Rahman.
I also continued my walk.
"Morning, Bang Vin."
"Morning, Deck Sarah," I said.
"Walk, Vin?"
"Yes, ma'am," I said.
"Vin, stop by, Vin!"
"When, Bre!" my reply.
While touring the village, the people I met kept greeting me very kindly.
Villagers are always kind and friendly to me, but usually not this friendly.
The power of money cannot lie.
I chose to donate almost all of my income for the sake of the village and only took a little, at least enough for my needs to eat, because I only live a kara.
Drian and Angel also donated their income, but only half. Understandably, they have a family. So, they can't give more than that.
Thanks to the money we donated, the state of the village has now become much more developed and prosperous.
Mr. Village Chief and the villagers really make excellent use of our funds.
They use the money to renovate the homes of residents who are already uninhabitable, meet the needs of the fields that are often the problem and cause of crop failure, as well as to improve village infrastructure.
The condition of the village is already much better than before, but I think there are still many things that must be addressed immediately, one of the most important is the electricity supply.
We have not been able to meet the electricity supply because the location of our village is very far from the nearest city, namely the City of Borneo.
We could have applied to deliver electricity to our village, but because the distance was too far, the cost would have been very expensive.
In spite of all that, I am really happy to see the condition of my village which is now much better than before.
"Morning, Bang Vin." Iroh suddenly greeted me.
"Wedeh ... My little girl seems to have grown up even bigger" I said.
"Hehehehe .. yes, dong." Iroh was a bit embarrassed.
"That spirit is mine, Bang Vin. Never take it!" heri shouted suddenly and stood between me and Iroh as she spread out her arms, as if she did not want to let me get close to Iroh.
Heri and Iroh, these two are the children of the orphanage I took to live in the village a month ago. Heri was fourteen, while Iroh was ten.
"Heeee ... Iroh that's mine know ...." I tried to tease Heri.
"No! He's mine!" Heri shouted loudly, still stretching out her hands, like she did not want to let me get close to Iroh, while Iroh looked confused.
Heri is a very brave child and does not hesitate to express the contents of his head.
Although sometimes it is a bit annoying because every word that comes out of his mouth is never filtered, but I really like him because he is a very honest boy. If he doesn't like it, he'll say he doesn't like it, and vice versa.
With her nature like that, I became very fond of teasing and judging her.
"That spirit is mine!" I still keep teasing him.
"Yyyamaakkkk! Iroh that's mine!" Heri was getting hysterical, still stretching out his hands, while Iroh seemed increasingly confused and panicked.
"Vin, you really like to tease the boy" said Drian who suddenly appeared behind me.
"Hehehehe .. exclaimed heartily, Yan," I replied.
"Kids, it's time for breakfast!" shouted Bu Ratna from a distance.
"Oh, Mas Alvin, Mas Drian, would you like to have breakfast?" asked Ms. Ratna while walking over.
"Not us ...."
"Bye, Mom. I also haven't had breakfast." I cut Drian's words.
"Come then," said Ms. Ratna.
We went to the orphanage together.
While on the way, Heri continued to look at me with a furious look while still stretching out both hands, as if not wanting to let me approach Iroh.
I could only help laughing at seeing that.
"Mas Alvin isn't Drian going to town?" asked Ms. Ratna who was walking in front of us.
"Away from this, ma'am," replied Drian, while I continued to tease Heri.
"Grrrrrr!" Heri continued to growl annoyed at me, while Iroh looked awkward and Ms Ratna just smiled.
"Now, Vin." Drian.
"Hehehehe .. exclaimed lo, Yan," I said.
"Grrrrrr!" Heri was still growling annoyed at me.
