48. Can I Kiss You?

Sandra was surprised to see the message Bagas sent. The woman let out a long sigh as there was a throbbing pain in the corner of her heart.

"So, just this much love that you've been reverberating all this time? You said your love for me was so great. But, it's nothing you've given up. You don't even know everything I have. What if you find out about my past being so bad?" sandra said in her heart.

He was really disappointed with Bagas' attitude. In fact, Sandra accidentally contacted the man to reveal his heart and try to accept his love Bagas. However, the man asked her not to text or call him.

Sandra did not expect that her decision to ignore her love Bagas actually made the man give up on pursuing her. But isn't he himself the one who rejected the man all along?

Then, why now did he feel unacceptable when the man seemed to just leave him?

Sandra again read the message sent by Bagas. Repeatedly the woman read sentence after sentence which felt stifling her chest.

Suddenly the voice of Bagas who told about his proposal to the girl again flashed. Sandra's heart ached when she imagined that Bagas would actually propose to the girl and marry her.

Sandra, you are really stupid for wasting that man's sincere love.

Bagas let out a long sigh while watching his phone. The message he sent to Sandra was a blue tick. That's a sign that the woman has read it. However, after a long wait, there was not a single reply from Sandra.

Does that mean that woman really doesn't care about him at all? So right, if only he had been chasing after Sandra and loved her sincerely? While the woman he thought also felt the same way as himself did not love him at all?

Bagas repeatedly let out a long sigh, neutralizing the tightness in his chest. The corner of his heart ached when he realized that his love had only clapped one hand.

Bagas thought, the attitude of Sandra who had been impressed did not reject him because the woman had the same feelings as herself. It's just, Sandra's having trouble admitting it. However, seeing the attitude of Sandra who was not angry at all when she sent the message made Bagas realize that all this time his love was just clapping one hand.

"For years I loved you, but I still failed to conquer your heart" said Bagas.

"If not contacting you again makes you happy, I will, but I will always love you, Sandra."

Her love for Sandra is so great. Bagas couldn't just dispel that feeling so easily.

The man also had no intention of erasing, let alone forgetting Sandra from his heart. It's just, right now Bagas is feeling tired. He wanted to stop for a moment chasing Sandra.

Bagas wanted to give himself time to rest not because he was tired of chasing after the woman's love. Sandra's attitude that rejected him certainly made her heart not okay. Therefore, Bagas wanted to rest for a moment to heal the wounds in his heart.

After he is satisfied to rest, Bagas will return to pursue the woman until he can. Right now his mind is divided with his matchmaking plan with Shena that has been arranged by his family.

Bagas initially hopes that Sandra will help him by pretending to be his lover. However, that hope broke instantly upon seeing the woman not responding to it at all.

Sandra even considered that the problem of the match was not important at all. The proof, the woman didn't care until now.

"Although my heart hurts so much right now, but, I can't hate you. I love you, Sandra. Love you so much."
