65. Prospective Family Successor (Part 1)

Liana and Bimantara are currently in the Bagas inpatient room. After their debate with Shena and Bagas, the two middle-aged men finally relented.

Actually not giving up, rather they were forced to give up for the good of Bagas.

The couple told the doctor what happened to Bagas before their son was in an accident.

It's not just Liana and Bimantara. However, Bimo who was with Bagas before the accident also explained all the events that happened to Bagas before the accident.

After hearing stories from both Bagas' parents and his confidant Bagas, the doctor concludes if what Bagas is currently experiencing because before the Bagas accident only thought about Shena. Therefore, Bagas only remembered Shena after the accident.

Bagas' anger at Shena and the man's intention of wanting to meet the woman before the accident made Bagas only remember Shena. Moreover, as his memories of his proposal and his wedding plans with Shena also appeared in his head.

That piece of memory makes Bagas believe that Shena is really his lover.

"I just feel curious. Why did Bagas forget Sandra? Obviously, Sandra was the woman she loved so much." Liana was still wondering why Bagas had forgotten about Sandra.

His son did not remember the woman in the least. In fact, Liana still very clearly remembered how Bagas rejected the arranged marriage he planned with Shena's parents.

Bagas blatantly said he only loved Sandra and would not marry another woman other than Sandra.

"We'll wait for the next checkup. Hopefully after undergoing further examination, your son's condition will improve soon. You just have to obey what your son wants now. But, one thing you have to remember, don't force your son to remember everything." Doctor Reza explained at length about the condition of Bagas on Liana and Bimantara as well as Bimo.

For the good of Bagas, they were forced to follow all of Bagas' wishes. Including following the request of Bagas who wants to marry Shena after his return from the hospital.

"Mama really doesn't want you to marry her, Bagas. You don't want to regret it later in life. Moreover, your current state is not stable. Your memory hasn't recovered yet, Bagas." Liana again persuaded her son carefully.

"Mama, I don't remember everything. But, I'm pretty sure that Shena is the woman I love, Ma. Didn't Mama want me to marry her?" Bagas still insisted on his decision. The more his parents refused, the greater his belief that Shena was indeed the woman he loved so much.

"Mama did tell you to marry Shena, but that was it. Before you know who Shena really is, Bagas." Liana looked at the son who was still lying weakly on the patient bed.

"Mama just doesn't want you to regret it, Bagas. Mama doesn't want you to lose Sandra. The woman you've loved so much for so many years." Liana is still trying. Hoping that all his words would make Bagas remember Sandra and her struggle to get love from the woman.

Liana doesn't want Bagas to lose women as good as Sandra. Likewise with him who does not want to lose a dream daughter-in-law like Sandra. Liana had already realized her mistake. The middle-aged woman had even apologized to Sandra for being so unkind to the woman.

"I have to tell Mama how many more times, if I never loved Sandra, Ma. I don't even recognize him!" Bagas yelled in annoyance making Liana jump in shock. Bimantara rubbed his wife's trembling shoulders.

"Don't cry. You must be strong, Liana. Remember the doctor's advice, don't force Bagas to remember everything." Bimantara whispered in his wife's ear making the woman he loved so much a long sigh. Trying to dampen his emotions.

"If Sandra was really the woman I love, shouldn't I remember her? Why do I remember Shena, the woman you call the snake woman for trying to separate me from Sandra?"

"Bagas–"

"Alright, Ma. Don't emotion. Bagas is in recovery. Don't let his health be disturbed until he returns to make his condition worse." Bimantara.

"I will continue to marry Shena with or without your consent. I just want to be happy with the woman I love with all my heart." Bagas looked at the mama with a happy twinkle in his eyes.

"But the one you love is me, Bagas, not Shena. I'm sorry because I was too scared to tell you all my feelings. I'm not honest if I love you too. I love you so much, Bagas. Very!"
