56. Apology

Sandra was crying in Kanaya's arms. Things that he never did before, except in the past, when he and Kanaya were both still in the status of his wife Sean.

After parting ways with Sean and Kanaya, Sandra never cried in front of others. He prefers to hide all the problems that have happened to him. Sandra simply did not want others to think of her as weak. She wanted everyone to consider her a perfect woman who had no blemish at all.

After returning from the hospital a while ago, Sandra did not go straight home. He went to Kanaya's house because he felt he was not okay.

Sandra is in need of a friend to share right now. It felt, Sandra could go crazy facing a problem that she had never imagined before.

Had Anisa been in front of him right now, Sandra would have definitely expressed her current unease to the woman who had once been his assistant. However, because Anisa is currently in the hospital with her husband, Sandra does not want to disturb him.

After all, Sandra was still angry that Anisa had lied to her. The woman had hidden the fact that her job turned out to be a spy that Bagas had sent to protect her during her time in Paris.

"So that man is going to marry another woman?" Kanaya spoke with both eyes. He really did not accept the man who had once made Sandra destroyed it again hurt Sandra.

Sandra sobbed while hugging Kanaya. The woman expressed her feelings that are now devastated by the Bagas accident and the man's marriage which will soon be held.

Sandra deeply regretted her decision for not accepting Bagas at the time. If only he followed his heart and did not make Bagas upset, the man would be fine at this time.

"He married the woman because he was forced to. Both her parents betrothed her to a spoiled woman who did not know herself because Bagas did not have a partner."

"What do you mean he doesn't have a partner? Aren't you two a couple?" Kanaya protested Sandra's remarks.

"Me and Bagas are not dating."

"What?" Both Kanaya eyeballs back in pattern hearing Sandra's words.

"I don't want to be with him. I even rejected her proposal many times" Sandra said sobbing.

"You love her but you rejected her proposal. Did I not hear wrong?"

Sandra let go of her hug on Kanaya. Instead, the woman lays her head on the lap of her once-male best friend.

"You didn't hear wrong, Naya. I'm a fool because I've rejected a good man like Bagas. All this time I doubted it because I wasn't sure of my own feelings." Sandra said honestly.

"Currently, Bagas is still in critical condition in the hospital. I'm so scared, Nay, I'm afraid anything's happened to Bagas." Sandra was crying again. He was really worried about Bagas' current situation.

However, he took part in becoming the cause of the accident that hit Bagas. Had he not refused, Bagas could not have gone to Bali.

Had Shena not used herself to threaten Bagas, the man would definitely not have driven his vehicle at such high speed just because he wanted to immediately meet the snake woman.

"I'm wrong, Nay. I was wrong for being too cowardly to admit that I had the same feelings as Bagas." Sandra was crying again.

Without them noticing, not far away from the two of them, Sean stood up while clenching his hands holding back his anger. That man really couldn't accept seeing Sandra cry like that.

A few days passed. Bagas' condition gradually improved. The man has now been moved to the inpatient room. However, due to the effect of the medicine, Bagas still had not opened his eyes.

Bimo and Anisa are still waiting for Bagas at the hospital. Today, the two of them even invited Sandra to come see Bagas. Sandra comes to the hospital secretly with Anisa.

Luckily, the bodyguards assigned by Liana were unaware of Sandra's arrival.

"Will he continue like this?" Sandra looked at Bagas' pale face.

"We pray that he will come to his senses soon." Anisa chimed in on Sandra's words. He knows how Sandra feels right now.

Hearing Anisa's words, Sandra offered a prayer in her heart. He really misses the man in front of him. Some days he refrained from being able to meet Bagas. Liana forbade him to meet Bagas.

"Bagas, I'm sorry. I know I'm guilty of you. But I really miss you." Sandra clasped Bagas' hand while crying.

"I'm sorry that I'm late to realize all the feelings I have for you. I love you, Bagas. Love you so much." Sandra sobbed in front of Bagas.

The woman dissolved in sadness until she did not realize that the man before her had opened her eyes and looked at her with a confused look.

The man looked at the beautiful woman who was now crying while hugging her arm. The woman's face was facing her so Bagas could clearly see the sadness she was now feeling.

"Who are you?"
