57. Beautiful Gift From God
"Who are you?" Bagas' voice made the woman who was crying before him feel shocked.
"Noritas ...." Sandra said softly. Her net looked at the man before her who was currently staring at her flatly.
"You are finally conscious." Sandra intended to hug Bagas. The woman was really happy to see Bagas open his eyes. Not only Bagas, Bimo and Anisa who had been standing behind Sandra was happy.
"Don't touch me!" Bagas's voice made Sandra's hand movements stop. The smile on Sandra's face faded as did Bimo and Anisa.
Meanwhile, Bagas stared at Sandra sharply.
"Ka–you don't remember me? I'm Sandra–"
"I don't know you" Bagas interrupted, leaving Sandra shocked again.
"Bagas, I'm Sandra. Kita–"
"Go from here. I don't want to see you." Bagas looked at Sandra coldly. Meanwhile, Sandra shook her head slowly. Not believing that Bagas does not remember.
Anisa and Bimo took Sandra away from Bagas when they saw Bagas' face in pain. Bimo pressed a button next to the bed to call the medics. Anisa takes Sandra out of the room.
Although Sandra refused, but, when she saw Bagas holding his head and grimacing in pain, Sandra inevitably complied. The woman was crying in Anisa's arms.
"Did he really forget me, Nis?" Sandra said slowly. His heart ached when he heard the words of Bagas who said he did not know him.
Why is it that when I open my heart to her, she forgets me?
"He's okay, isn't he, Nis? I don't want to happen to her. I'm really very–"
"You love her, but you don't want to reveal it to her. What's Bagas' lack all this time, Sandra? You know how much that guy loves, right?" Anisa cut off Sandra's speech.
Not out of thought with the thought of Sandra who loved Bagas very much but actually rejected the man's proposal. What does he think, Bagas is a person who has no feelings to be willing to continue waiting for him and not feel hurt?
"I know, he's a man who's been guilty in your past. But you saw for yourself that now he has changed, right? She loves you, Sandra. Loving you!" Anisa spoke with emotion. He wanted the woman in front of him to realize that he had gone too far.
Does Sandra not know how tortured Bagas for years harbored his feelings of love?
Did he not realize that his closeness with Bagas had made the man even more hopeful for him? If he did not like Bagas, Sandra should not give hope to Bagas right?
Various questions came together in Anisa's head. At first he did not like Bagas who forced Sandra to become the man's lover. However, as time went on, Anisa was able to see how her boss loved Sandra so much.
"You should tell her honestly how you feel about her. Instead of giving him a lot of hope then throwing him into the abyss." Anisa again said her frustration with Sandra made the woman in her arms cry even more.
"Every time I want to tell her how I feel, my tongue is twisted. The shadow of my previous marriage failure flashed again. I–"
"You doubt it?" Anisa shakes in disbelief. While Sandra was crying more and more making Anisa could not bear. The woman who had been his personal assistant hugged Sandra again.
For the first time, as long as she gets to know Sandra, she sees Sandra as fragile because of love. During Sandra's time in Paris, the woman was never close to any man. Sandra always built a high fortress on every man who approached her.
"He loves you very much. My husband and I are witnesses of how much he loves you, Sandra." Anisa is back. Wishing that the woman's heart be opened and accepted Bagas as her lover.
In her heart, Anisa prayed that what Bagas said was not true. Bagas loved Sandra very much. There's no way he's forgotten the woman he loves so much, is there? However, if Bagas had forgotten about Sandra due to amnesia due to the accident, then, it seems like they both have to fight back when their love is tested again.
"I love her a lot too, Nisa. It's just, I don't know how to express my feelings to her."

"How is he doing, Doctor?" Bimo with a panicked face looked at the doctor examining Bagas.
"For a while, let the patient rest in peace. Don't force him to remember all his memories before the accident."
"Did she really have amnesia, Doc?"
"For this, we will wait for an explanation from the neurosurgeon who will examine it in a moment." The doctor patted Bimo on the shoulder slowly.
"Calm down! In addition to the head injury, the patient is fine. Just pray that his condition will improve soon."
"Thank you, Doctor. Please do what's best for my best friend."
The doctor smiled then left Bimo who was still worried thinking about Bagas.
"May you be well. If it is true that you lost your memory, I will help you with all my might so that your memory will recover. You mustn't forget Sandra, Bagas. Your sacrifice will be in vain if you forget it now."
