PART 27'S

"I want something." Raya put a glass of coffee on the work table Bayu.

He accidentally takes a tray of coffee for Bayu from the hands of a housekeeper so that he can enter the Bayu workspace without being suspected by Tessa and the workers in the house.

"Hmm. You don't usually ask for something. What do you really want?"

"I don't want that bodyguard. He's always watching me."

"Isn't that really his job," said Bayu relaxed

"But I don't like things like that. You can see, all this time I've been fine without them."

Bayu leaned his back on the back of his great chair. Then, look at Raya.

"Two times you tried to end your life. Can you call that okay."

"That's my own problem. Whether or not someone is watching me, I can do it."

"You can say that to Tessa. Because he ordered the man. He's not one of my men." Bayu re-enforced his body and continued his work.

"You know, Auntie couldn't have gotten rid of that guy. He's very stubborn."

Raya began to be upset because Bayu was seen to be relaxed facing her protests, impressed not to care.

"Or is this an order from you! So that we can't meet again. Is that what you want?"

"Come," said Bayu while smiling to see the face of Raya who began to frown.

Raya approached, then Bayu pulled Raya's body to sit on his lap.

"Well, I'll try to talk to Tessa. But, don't expect too much for the result to be the way you want it to be because he's the way you say he's stubborn."

"One more thing, I want Defin to replace that guy."

Bayu frowned. "No, don't ask for it."

"Why? Isn't he a trustworthy person and he knows our relationship."

"Raya, he's not just a bodyguard for me. If he's with you who'll help take care of the job."

"He can still work with you, and I'll take him if I have to."

"You can ask for something else, baby. I'll soon find someone who's no less great than him."

"No. I don't want anyone but Defin."

"Raya, you know it's impossible for me to give."

As it turned out, it wasn't that easy carrying Defin in my grasp. I have to find a way for Bayu to give me Defin.

"I'll take care of it soon and you can choose for yourself the person you think you can trust."

"Then you must not refuse my request."

"What do you want, say."

"You should allow Defin to help me once in a while. Otherwise, don't expect to see me again."

Bayu grasped Raya's hand and gently kissed her fingers.

"That's a threat to me?"

"Picture it that way. If that guy's on Aunt's side, we won't have time to meet." Raya pushed the tip of her lips.

Bayu kissed Raya's cheek with anxiety. "Ok, I'll try to talk to Tessa after this job is done and if you need Defin, you can contact her directly."

Raya smiled happily and kissed Bayu's cheeks back.

"Why you still have to work at home. You should have rested this time."

"Very much work needs my attention. Even Randra's company still needs my supervision, he still makes mistakes."

Raya nodded in understanding, and gave a brief kiss on Bayu's lips.

Randra, how is he doing now. This must have been causing him more stress. Raya wanted to see him but he felt like a very cruel person. Defin himself must be clear not gray like this.

"You think about Randra?" ask Bayu

Raya stopped her daydream and moved to sit at Bayu's desk.

Raya let out a long sigh, "I have to do what?"

"There's nothing you have to do, because none of this is your fault. Don't think about that problem anymore"

"Randra is not a child, Raya. He had also known from the beginning that his parents' household had long since been destroyed."

It's not easy not to think about all that. Though repeatedly Bayu spoke like that. Raya knows she remains guilty and the cause of all these problems.

"Right now all you need to think about is me and there should only be me in your mind." Bayu smiled seductively to Raya.

"Without you asking me to always think of you. I'm going back to my room." Raya stepped up and stepped out of the Bayu workspace.

Bayu resumed his work when Raya closed the door of his study.

Raya met with Defin who was waiting to meet with Bayu. Defin leaned next to the door while playing his phone.

"You're finally out, too. I almost fell asleep waiting for you to finish your love affair."

"So what you say! Where we are now."

"You scared? Yes, sometimes even walls have ears."

Defin straightened his body and stuffed the phone into his pants pocket. Then he flicked his hand asking Raya to give him a way to enter.

"I have a good offer for you."

Defin folded his hands and smiled obliquely looking at Raya.

"I already know what you want. But, I still can't guess what a good offer you can give."

"So it's true that the walls of this house have ears. " Raya smiled at Defin and the smile was countered with a meaningful smile.

"I'll take care of the man and replace it with my men. And you know of course there must be an advantage that I get."

"What are you going to do with that guy?"

"Don't think too much. You're just waiting for the good news."

Raya nodded, "The advantage you will get we can talk at a later time and certainly not here." Raya rolled her eyes and left Defin.

Defin knocks on Bayu's workspace and after getting an answer from the owner of the room, he immediately enters.

Like what he had heard and seen from the surveillance camera. Bayu asked her to find someone she could rely on to watch over Raya. Also now he must be willing to help Raya if the woman needs help.

"Raya... What do you think of that woman?" ask Bayu

Sontak Defin was surprised by Bayu's question. The question was not intended to judge Raya physically or attitude. Obviously Bayu wants to know more deeply.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. Don't you understand it more than I do."

"I just feel like there's something different about him this time. She was no longer the jolly and spoiled girl she used to be. His eyes have changed. He even asked you to be his bodyguard."

"Wouldn't it be natural that one's nature changes over time. Maybe Miss is getting more mature."

"Yes, I seem to be overdoing it. Report every person she meets, if you need to keep an eye on anyone she calls."

"But why would you give such an order?" tanya Defin continues to dig into Bayu's true purpose.

"Just in case. I don't want any outsiders or anyone with the desire to take advantage of the Kingdom."

Defin thought this could be a big problem for Raya, Bayu was not a person who so easily changed his suspicions. The danger sign also applies to him because he has started to get involved with the plan of Raya, or Raya has indeed put himself into a trap.

Defin was not satisfied with Bayu's answer. Really just do not want anyone to take advantage of Raya or anything else, not usually Bayu acts slow. This is not Bayu who is definitely familiar or maybe Bayu is covering something from him.

"Don't I have to keep an eye on Mrs Tessa?" Defin tries to shift Bayu's focus on Raya.

"I don't think it's necessary" Bayu replied firmly.

"But if we don't keep an eye on him, it could all be uncovered and..."

"And he'll know who Raya really is? It's not a problem, sooner or later Tessa will know who the woman is with me."

"Maybe we should prevent all that from happening too soon."

Bayu stared at Defin for a while until Defin felt uncomfortable with that gaze.

"Sorry, Sir. I'll do as you command."

Defin knew the meaning of that gaze. So that he stops asking questions and doubting Bayu's orders. Obediently and not denied his orders that Bayu wanted.

"Take this as a doubt about your poor performance in taking care of the accident Kingdom."

Defin nodded and left Bayu's job. Immediately prepare to find a replacement bodyguard for the Kingdom.
