Tok.shock.
Intan knocked on the door of the Great Workroom. After the door opened Intan was presented with an unusual view of his best friend.
When he saw Intan coming Raya walked slowly towards the sofa in his study. Then Raya leaned her body on the back of the sofa.
"Is there anything you want to talk about, Intan?" tanya Raya lirih's.
Intan immediately approached and sat down beside Raya.
"CK! You've always been like this."
"I'm fine, don't overdo it."
"We're going to the hospital now!"
Intan pulled Raya's arm and placed it on her shoulders and prepared to help Raya stand up. But Raya pulled her arm back.
"Intan, I don't need to go to the hospital."
"Raya, last time you said that and you ended up in the hospital. I don't want it to happen again."
"Trust me, I just need a break."
Intan took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Resist the annoyance to his best friend who is very difficult to tell.
"Alright, but let me take you to the room for a break."
Raya nodded in agreement and was greeted with a smile by Intan. After helping Raya lie on her bed Intan put a blanket on Raya's body.
"You want something?" ask Intan
"For now I don't want anything. You see me there must be something to talk about."
"Forget it's just a small matter, I can solve it myself. I was gonna give you a little busy but seeing you like this I don't think it's the right time to keep you busy."
Intan's laughter managed to make Raya feel a little better. They've been together long enough, sharing and strengthening each other. Perhaps because they both have a dark past and do not have a full family further strengthen their friendship.
"Raya, are you sure it's just a digestive problem? What if I bring a doctor here?" Intan is still trying to convince Raya to immediately get treatment from the experts.
"Of course, I've been taking medication and in a few hours it's gonna get better."
"I'll get back to work. You can call me anytime if you need anything and I'll visit you once every hour."
Raya pulls on Intan's shirt and manages to hold her best friend to leave.
"I want to say something" said Raya.
Intan sat back on the edge of the bed. Staring at the face of his best friend who looks pale and sad eyes.
"What do you want to say?"
"I'm not the old Kingdom. I've really become a different person. I made a big mistake."
"Is this about your health? You have a chronic, deadly disease?"
Raya shook her head. Intan was increasingly curious and panicked because Raya did not say what her best friend was worried about.
"Is our cafe going bankrupt? You are using the money for your personal benefit. Ah.... Fast do not make me more curious, quickly tell me what really happened."
Trying to get up from his bed. Intan immediately placed a pillow on Raya's back to sit leaning back.
Raya feels very guilty with her best friend who has been too good to her. Without knowing what he's been doing all this time.
Raya told me everything that had happened. It started when he met Bayu and the feeling began to grow and now turned into greed.
"I feel tormented every time I see your good attitude without knowing how big a mistake I've made."
Intan was silent and glued to the window of Raya's room. His body felt stiff and could not say anything after listening to the words of his best friend.
"I feel relieved to have confessed everything. You can leave me right now. Because it is no use for you to continue by my side which will only bring destruction."
Raya looked at the back of Intan who was still sitting quietly on the edge of the bed.
Slowly sobs Intan heard by Raya. Intan wiped her tears and stared hard at Raya.
"Why should you fall into such a relationship. You can choose anyone to be your lover but why are you all like this, Raya."
"I have to do this. I can't just let it all happen and they easily forget the suffering that has happened."
"You fool! Stupid. I hate you so much..."
Intan is crying. His body was mired on the floor of the Kingdom room. And vice versa Raya also cried seeing Intan's disappointment in him that was so deep.
The rain fell as if to muffle the cries of the two human children who had long been together. Sharing happiness and distress. Quarrels were also frequent between them but never lasted long.
A suffering and disappointment to their families in the past managed to strengthen their friendship to this day.
"What can I do to get you to stop this, Ray?" tanya Intan who still occasionally sobbed.
"You don't have to do anything because there's no way for me to go back to the way I used to."
"There is no road. You don't want all this back to the way it used to be."
"I have to do all this. I'm not going to force you to believe or support all the mistakes I've made."
Raya got out of bed and sat on the floor right next to Intan.
"Raya, please leave everything. We'll go far and forget everything. I beg you to get out of here before things get messed up."
Raya shook her head. Raya doesn't want to get away from all this.
"From now on don't mind anything I do, Intan. It's a big mistake if you want us to leave this place. That's not fair to you."
"If you continue here. You will be more broken. I don't want any of that to happen."
"That's not a good idea for your future, Intan. You have a man who loves you very much and you're even getting married soon. So it's selfishness if we have to get out of here."
Intan hugged Raya's body tightly, their tears back wetting each cheek. Weeping over all that sadness together.
"Your happiness is in sight, Intan. From now on you can choose the path you have dreamed of. Have a happy and loving little family."
"What about you Raya? Why must this painful path be the one you choose."
Raya let go of her embrace and wiped away Intan's tears with her thumb.
"Because I can't forget the pain I've been through. Every time I see Tessa's face, the sense of vengeance hurts me even more."
"There's not much I can do. You've always been stubborn, Raya. Whatever happens, I will never leave you. Even if it is my hope that you realize that this grudge and hatred in your heart will slowly break you."
Raya nodded in understanding. Raya never denied that what her best friend said was wrong. Sooner or later you will get a reply. However, at least Raya was a little relieved because she had already avenged her.
"But to be honest, I'm still disappointed with the choice you made."
"I have to find the answers to all the questions I have in mind. I was very young at the time, after I grew up. It seems like all of that happened because someone planned it."
Intan was surprised to hear Raya's words. Intan wiped her tears and looked back at Raya seriously.
"So you think that the accident that hit your Papa was someone's plan?"
"That's not all that keeps me wondering. A lot of past events are fueling me to keep looking for why."
"I can't yet conclude who was behind the accident. Bayu and Tessa could be involved."
"But how do you believe that the accident was a coincidence?"
Raya is silent to answer Intan's question.
"Wait, don't tell me if it's just your assumption."
"Hmm. I can say that. But, I'll get the proof soon."
Intan got up from his seat and then patted Raya's shoulder.
"Well, I can't possibly change the goals and desires that you have planned. But, I hope all this is not just your sense of rejection and rebuttal to accept that your Papa is gone, Raya."
Raya pursed her lips because Intan could not believe it. But, indeed from the beginning Raya told all this not so that Intan believed in him. Raya tells all this so that her heart is calm and it would be better if Intan hears from her directly.
"Come here." Intan helps Raya to lie back on the bed. After making sure Raya lay down in a comfortable position, Intan again sat on the edge of the bed.
"I don't even know if I should be angry or sad. I can't deny the disappointment of big jiga."
"Should I say the word 'sorry' right now?"
"You won't forgive me, even if I bow at my feet."
"You are cruel," said Raya.
"Even if we grow up without the affection of our parents. At least we can stand firm until now. Isn't that a great achievement in our lives."
"It looks so."
Intan left Raya and returned to work. He almost forgot about the important meeting with his employees after hearing the heartbreaking story of Raya.
Intan again tidied up her makeup in the toilet. His eyes look red and swollen.
"Geez, my face looks so awful."
Intan immediately used makeup to cover up the mess that was plastered on her face.
Intan's phone is ringing. A short message came in.
"After crying he got hungry."
The short message was from Raya who felt she needed food after crying.
🌟🌟🌟
"Sorry you shouldn't have come here, Javier."
Three days of health has been declining. Intan was forced to ask Javier to check on Raya, because he still did not want to be taken to the Hospital.
"Why should pretend tips at a time like this. You think it's funny, don't think your health is a small thing. Your life could not have been helped if things like this continued."
Honestly, Raya was afraid to hear Javier's words. True, he had already neglected his health.
"You should get immediate treatment."
"Whatever it is just do it here. I don't want to go to the hospital."
"What about Om Bayu? Does he know how you are doing?"
"No, he's out of town. I don't want him to know either."
Javier initially intended to meet Raya to discuss a business contract that was delayed some time ago. Initially Javier hesitated to meet Raya with the news that Raya was sick, the soul wanted to help her was getting stronger.
Javier has also started to make peace with the situation. He began to realize, that the act of selfish if hostile to Raya. Javier just needs to get to know Raya like the first time they met regardless of his personal problems.
"I'll go one to two hours, to prepare for your treatment."
"Thank you, Javir."
"No need for that. Once you're healed I'll send you the bill."
"Are there no discounts for me?"
"No," Javier replied briefly and left Raya to take some of his tools to restore the Kingdom's health.
In accordance with Javier's words. He returned to meet Raya and an assistant brought some medicines and intravenous fluids for Raya. With full precision and swift Javier provides the care needed Raya.
"Stop drinking this."
Javier finds a bottle of liquor that Raya hid in her clothes.
"I have kept it well."
"I need to know the cause so you can heal quickly."
"It's late at night. You better go home."
Javier sat on the sofa in Raya's room. It seemed like he had already ignored the orders of the Kingdom.
"Isn't that disrespectful. Expel the people who took care of you."
"I don't mean to kick you out. I just don't want to be troublesome."
"Didn't you ask for a discount this afternoon."
"I'm kidding, I'll pay in full for all this."
Javier leaned his body. Staring at the ceiling of the room Kingdom. They are silent to each other.
"Can I tell you a little?" ask Javier.
Raya is still silent. What happened to Javier, he was very different.
"Sometimes I envy people like you. Can do anything you want without the pressure and orders of others."
Raya took her eyes off Javier. Staring at the darkness of the night through the cracks of the window covering cloth.
"But the actions I did were not a good thing. For me or anyone else."
"Since childhood I have always been in the shadow of the social status and success of my parents. They hate failure, and so do I. As time went on, I became more and more devastated, when I realized that there was not a single thing I did on my own accord."
"Is it hard to get away from all that pressure?" ask Javier.
"Yes, it's very difficult. I'm more precisely scared. Afraid that all my achievements would be lost, I was afraid that what I did would worsen everything that I had gained."
"If only I had such a thought. None of this I'm gonna do. We have to do all this."
"Sometimes I feel very tired because everything goes to the wishes of others. You're great at being able to go this far without a doubt."
Raya smiled and also welcomed a smile from Javier.
"We have a different path, Javier. Of course I have felt doubt. I had to support myself to stand up. Unlike you who have trusted people to support you."
"Looks like my parents should thank you for what you said I realized that they were very meritorious to me and fulfilled all the ambitions they had placed on me."
I don't know how long they talked and Raya fell asleep. Javier checked Raya's situation, after making sure Raya was getting better. He left Raya.
